Psalms 135

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise [him], O ye servants of the LORD.

Monkamfo Awurade. Monkamfo Awurade din; monkamfo no, mo Awurade asomfoɔ,

2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

mo a mosom wɔ Awurade fie, wɔ adihɔ a ɛwɔ yɛn Onyankopɔn fie.

3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD [is] good; sing praises to his name; for [it is] pleasant.

Monkamfo Awurade ɛfiri sɛ ɔyɛ; monto ayɛyie dwom mma ne din, na ɛno na ɛyɛ anisɔ.

4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob to himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.

Awurade ayi Yakob sɛ ɔnyɛ ne deɛ, wayi Israel sɛ nʼadeɛ a ɛsom bo.

5 For I know that the LORD [is] great, and [that] our LORD [is] above all gods.

Menim sɛ Awurade so; Ɔso sene anyame nyinaa.

6 Whatever the LORD pleased, [that] did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

Awurade yɛ deɛ ɔpɛ biara, wɔ ɔsoro ne asase so, ɛpo ne emu abunu nyinaa.

7 He causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

Ɔma omununkum ma ne ho so firi asase ano ba; ɔsoma anyinam ka osutɔ ho na ɔma ahum tu firi nʼakoradan mu.

8 Who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and beast.

Ɔkumm Misraim mmakan, nnipa ne mmoa mmakan.

9 [Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

Ɔsomaa ne nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ ne nʼanwanwadeɛ baa mo mfimfini, Ao Misraim, de tiaa Farao ne nʼasomfoɔ nyinaa.

10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

Ɔsɛee amanaman pii na ɔkunkumm ahemfo akɛseɛ,

11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

Amorifoɔ ɔhene, Sihon Basan ɔhene, Og ne Kanaan ahemfo nyinaa,

12 And gave their land [for] a heritage, a heritage to Israel his people.

na ɔde wɔn nsase maa sɛ agyapadeɛ; ɔde maa ne nkurɔfoɔ Israelfoɔ.

13 Thy name, O LORD, [endureth] for ever; [and] thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

Ao Awurade, wo din wɔ hɔ daa. Ao Awurade wo din ahyeta awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ nyinaa mu.

14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent concerning his servants.

Awurade bɛdi ama ne nkurɔfoɔ na ɔbɛhunu nʼasomfoɔ mmɔbɔ.

15 The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

Amanaman no ahoni yɛ dwetɛ ne sikakɔkɔɔ a wɔde onipa nsa na ayɛ.

16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not.

Wɔwɔ ano, nanso wɔntumi nkasa, wɔwɔ ani, nanso wɔnhunu adeɛ;

17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there [any] breath in their mouths.

wɔwɔ aso, nanso wɔnte asɛm, na ahomeɛ nso nni wɔn anom.

18 They that make them are like them: [so is] every one that trusteth in them.

Wɔn a wɔyɛɛ ahoni no bɛyɛ sɛ wɔn ara, saa ara na wɔn a wɔde wɔn ho to wɔn so no bɛyɛ.

19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

Monkamfo Awurade, Ao Israel fiefoɔ; monkamfo Awurade, Ao Aaron fiefoɔ;

20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

monkamfo Awurade, Ao Lewi fiefoɔ; monkamfo Awurade, mo a mosuro no.

21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
