Psalms 131

1 A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart [is] not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

Señor, no hay orgullo en mi corazón y mis ojos no se alzan; y no he participado en grandes empresas ni en cosas difíciles para mí.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself as a child that is weaned by his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child.

Mira, he hecho mi alma calmada y callada, como un niño en el pecho de su madre; mi alma es como un niño recién amamantado en el pecho de su madre.

3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

Israel, ten esperanza en el Señor, desde ahora y para siempre.
