< Psalms 13 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Dawid dwom. Ao, Awurade, ɛnkɔsi da bɛn? Wo werɛ bɛfiri me afebɔɔ anaa? Ɛnkɔsi da bɛn na wode wʼanim bɛhinta me?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Ɛnkɔsi da bɛn na mene mʼadwendwene bɛdi apereapereɛ na awerɛhoɔ ahyɛ mʼakoma mu daa? Mʼatamfoɔ nni me so nkonim nkɔsi da bɛn?
3 Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;
Te wʼani hwɛ me na bua me, Ao, Awurade, me Onyankopɔn. Ma mʼani so nyɛ hann, na manna owuo nna.
4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
Me ɔtamfoɔ bɛka sɛ, “Madi ne so nkonim.” Na mʼahohiahiafoɔ bɛdi ahurisie ɛberɛ a mahwe ase.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Nanso mede me ho to wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no so; mʼakoma di ahurisie wɔ wo nkwagyeɛ mu.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Mɛto dwom ama Awurade, ɛfiri sɛ ɔne me adi no yie. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ no.
