< Psalms 13 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Dawid dwom. Awurade enkosi da bɛn? Wo werɛ befi me afebɔɔ ana? Enkosi da bɛn na wode wʼanim behintaw me?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Enkosi da bɛn na mene mʼadwennwene bedi aperepere na awerɛhow ahyɛ me koma mu daa? Mʼatamfo nni me so nkonim nkosi da bɛn?
3 Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;
Twa wʼani hwɛ me na bua me, Awurade, me Nyankopɔn. Ma mʼani so nyɛ hann, na manna owu nna.
4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
Me tamfo bɛka se, “Madi ne so nkonim.” Na mʼahohiahiafo bedi ahurusi bere a mahwe ase.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Nanso mede me ho to wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no so; me koma di ahurusi wɔ wo nkwagye mu.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Mɛto dwom ama Awurade, efisɛ ɔne me adi no yiye.
