< Psalms 13 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Kwa mwimbishaji. Zaburi ya Daudi. Mpaka lini, Ee Bwana? Je, utanisahau milele? Utanificha uso wako mpaka lini?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Nitapambana na mawazo yangu mpaka lini, na kila siku kuwa na majonzi moyoni mwangu? Adui zangu watanishinda mpaka lini?
3 Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;
Nitazame, unijibu, Ee Bwana Mungu wangu. Yatie nuru macho yangu, ama sivyo nitalala usingizi wa mauti.
4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
Adui yangu atasema, “Nimemshinda,” nao adui zangu watashangilia nitakapoanguka.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Lakini ninategemea upendo wako usiokoma; moyo wangu unashangilia katika wokovu wako.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Nitamwimbia Bwana, kwa kuwa amekuwa mwema kwangu.
