< Psalms 13 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Kumutungamiri wokuimba. Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Kusvikira riniko, nhai Jehovha? Muchandikanganwa nokusingaperi here? Muchasvika riniko makandivanzira chiso chenyu?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Ndichaita mutsimba nepfungwa dzangu kusvikira riniko, uye ndine shungu mumwoyo mangu zuva rimwe nerimwe? Muvengi wangu achandikurira kusvikira riniko?
3 Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;
Tarirai kwandiri mugondipindura, imi Jehovha Mwari wangu. Vhenekerai meso angu, kana kuti ndichafa ndakarara;
4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
muvengi wangu achati, “Ndamukurira ndamukunda,” uye vadzivisi vangu vachapembera kana ndawa.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Asi ini ndinovimba norudo rwenyu rusingaperi; mwoyo wangu unofarira ruponeso rwenyu.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Ndichaimbira Jehovha, nokuti akandinakira.
