Psalms 13

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਛੱਡੇਂਗਾ? ਕੀ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ? ਤੂੰ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਲੁਕਾਵੇਂਗਾ?

2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

੨ਮੈਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਿਚੜੀ ਪਕਾਵਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਕਰਾਂ? ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਹੇ?

3 Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;

੩ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆ ਪਵੇ,

4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

੪ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਆਖੇ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਡੋਲ ਜਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਣ।

5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

੫ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਵੇਗਾ।

6 I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

੬ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰ ਜੋ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
