< Psalms 13 >
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Salamo nataon’ i Davida.
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Jehovah ô, mandra-pahoviana no mbola hanadinoanao ahy ihany? Mandra-pahoviana no mbola hanafenanao ny tavanao amiko?
3 Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;
Mandra-pahoviana no mbola hisaintsainako am-panahy, sy hahalahelovako am-po isan’ andro? Mandra-pahoviana no mbola hisandratan’ ny fahavaloko ho amboniko?
4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
Jereo aho ka valio, Jehovah Andriamanitro ô; ampahazavao ny mazoto, fandrao renoky ny torimaso fahafatesana aho;
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Fandrao ny fahavaloko hanao hoe: naharesy azy aho, fandrao hifaly ny rafilahiko, raha mangozohozo aho.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Fa raha izaho kosa, dia ny famindram-ponao no itokiako; ho faly amin’ ny famonjenao ny foko. Hihira ho an’ i Jehovah aho, satria nanisy soa ahy Izy;
