Psalms 119
1 ALEPH. Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Bienheureux ceux qui sont sans tache dans la voie, qui marchent dans le Seigneur.
2 Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.
Bienheureux ceux qui étudient ses témoignages; ils le recherchent de tout leur cœur.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Car ceux qui opèrent l’ iniquité n’ont pas marché dans ses voies.
4 Thou hast commanded [us] to keep thy precepts diligently.
Vous avez ordonné que vos commandements soient gardés très exactement.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Plût à Dieu que toutes mes voies soient dirigées pour garder vos justifications!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all thy commandments.
Alors je ne serai point confondu, quand je fixerai mes yeux sur vos commandements.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Je vous louerai dans la droiture de mon cœur, parce que j’ai appris les jugements de votre justice.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Je garderai vos justifications: ne m’abandonnez pas entièrement.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed [to it], according to thy word.
Comment un jeune homme corrigera-t-il sa voie? en gardant vos paroles.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Je vous ai recherché de tout mon cœur, ne me repoussez pas de vos commandements.
11 Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
C’est dans mon cœur que j’ai caché vos paroles, afin que je ne pèche point contre vous.
12 Blessed [art] thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
Vous êtes béni, Seigneur, enseignez-moi vos justifications.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
J’ai prononcé de mes lèvres tous les jugements de votre bouche.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all riches.
Dans la voie de vos témoignages, je me suis plu comme dans toutes les richesses.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect to thy ways.
Je m’exercerai dans vos commandements, et je considérerai vos voies.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Je méditerai sur vos justifications, je n’oublierai pas vos paroles.
17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, [that] I may live, and keep thy word.
Donnez son salaire à votre serviteur, rendez-moi la vie, et je garderai vos paroles.
18 Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Dévoilez mes yeux, et je considérerai les merveilles de votre loi.
19 I [am] a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
Moi je suis étranger sur la terre; ne me cachez point vos commandements.
20 My soul breaketh for the longing [that it hath] to thy judgments at all times.
Mon âme a désiré ardemment vos justifications, en tout temps.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud [that are] cursed, who do err from thy commandments.
Vous avez réprimandé des superbes, maudit ceux qui s’écartent de vos commandements.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Ôtez de moi l’opprobre et le mépris, parce que j’ai recherché vos témoignages.
23 Princes also did sit [and] speak against me: [but] thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Car des princes se sont assis, et contre moi ils parlaient; mais votre serviteur s’exerçait sur vos justices.
24 Thy testimonies also [are] my delight, [and] my counselors.
Car vos témoignages sont ma méditation, et mon conseil, vos justifications.
25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth to the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
Mon âme s’est collée à la terre: vivifiez-moi selon votre parole.
26 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
Je vous ai dénoncé mes voies, et vous m’avez exaucé; enseignez-moi vos justifications.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
Instruisez-moi de la voie de vos commandements, et je m’exercerai dans vos merveilles.
28 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according to thy word.
Mon âme s’est assoupie d’ennui; fortifiez-moi par vos paroles.
29 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
Écartez de moi la voie de l’iniquité, et en vertu de votre loi, ayez pitié de moi.
30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid [before me].
J’ai choisi la voie de la vérité: je n’ai pas oublié vos jugements.
31 I have adhered to thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
Je me suis attaché à vos témoignages. Seigneur, ne me confondez point.
32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
J’ai couru dans la voie de vos commandements, lorsque vous avez dilaté mon cœur.
33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it [to] the end.
Imposez-moi une loi, Seigneur, la voie de vos justifications, et je la rechercherai toujours.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yes, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.
Donnez-moi l’intelligence, et j’étudierai votre loi, et je la garderai dans tout mon cœur.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for in that do I delight.
Conduisez-moi dans le sentier de vos commandements, parce que c’est ce que j’ai voulu.
36 Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Inclinez mon cœur vers vos témoignages, et non vers l’avarice.
37 Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity; [and] revive thou me in thy way.
Détournez mes yeux, afin qu’ils ne voient pas la vanité: faites-moi vivre dans vos sentiers.
38 Establish thy word to thy servant, who [is devoted] to thy fear.
Établissez votre parole dans votre serviteur, par votre crainte.
39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments [are] good.
Détruisez mon opprobre que j’ai appréhendé: vos jugements sont doux.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: revive me in thy righteousness.
Voilà que j’ai désiré vos commandements: par votre justice, vivifiez-moi.
41 VAU. Let thy mercies come also to me, O LORD, [even] thy salvation, according to thy word.
Et vienne sur moi votre miséricorde, Seigneur, et votre salut selon votre parole.
42 So shall I have with which to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
Et je répondrai à ceux qui m’outragent, un mot: c’est que j’ai espéré dans vos jugements.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
Et n’ôtez pas entièrement de ma bouche la parole de vérité, parce qu’en vos jugements j’ai beaucoup espéré.
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
Et je garderai votre loi toujours, dans les siècles et dans les siècles des siècles.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
Je marchais au large, parce que j’ai recherché vos commandements.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
Et je parlais de vos témoignages en présence des rois, et je n’étais pas confondu.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Et je méditais sur vos commandements, que j’ai toujours aimés.
48 My hands also will I lift to thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Et j’ai levé mes mains vers vos commandements, que j’ai toujours aimés, et je m’exerçais dans vos justifications.
49 ZAIN. Remember the word to thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
ZAIN. Souvenez-vous de votre parole à votre serviteur, par laquelle vous m’avez donné de l’espérance.
50 This [is] my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath revived me.
Ce qui m’a consolé dans mon humiliation, c’est que votre parole m’a donné la vie.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: [yet] I have not declined from thy law.
Des superbes agissaient avec une extrême iniquité, mais de votre loi je ne me suis pas écarté.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
Je me suis souvenu, Seigneur, de vos jugements, qui sont dès avant les siècles, et j’ai été consolé.
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
La défaillance s’est emparée de moi, à cause des pécheurs qui abandonnent votre loi.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
L’objet de mes chants était vos justifications, dans le lieu de mon pèlerinage.
55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
Je me suis souvenu durant la nuit de votre nom. Seigneur, et j’ai gardé votre loi.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
Cela m’est arrivé, parce que j’ai recherché vos justifications.
57 CHETH. [Thou art] my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
Ma part, Seigneur, je l’ai dit, c’est de garder votre loi.
58 I entreated thy favor with [my] whole heart: be merciful to me according to thy word.
J’ai imploré votre face en tout mon cœur: ayez pitié de moi selon votre parole.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
J’ai songé à mes voies, et j’ai tourné mes pieds vers vos témoignages.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
Je suis prêt, et je ne suis pas troublé; en sorte que je garderai vos commandements.
61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: [but] I have not forgotten thy law.
Les liens des pécheurs m’ont enveloppé; mais je n’ai point oublié votre loi.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
Au milieu de la nuit, je me levais pour vous louer sur les jugements de votre justification.
63 I [am] a companion of all [them] that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Je suis aussi en société avec tous ceux qui vous craignent, et qui gardent vos commandements.
64 The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
De votre miséricorde. Seigneur, la terre est pleine. Enseignez-moi vos justifications.
65 TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according to thy word.
Vous avez usé de bonté envers votre serviteur, ô Seigneur, selon votre parole.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Enseignez-moi la bonté, et la discipline, et la science, parce que j’ai cru à vos commandements.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Avant que je fusse humilié, j’ai péché; c’est pour cela que j’ai gardé votre parole.
68 Thou [art] good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
Vous êtes bon, vous, et dans votre bonté enseignez-moi vos justifications.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me: [but] I will keep thy precepts with [my] whole heart.
Elle s’est multipliée contre moi, l’iniquité des superbes; mais moi en tout mon cœur j’étudierai vos commandements.
70 Their heart is as gross as fat; [but] I delight in thy law.
Leur cœur s’est coagulé comme du lait; mais moi j’ai médité votre loi.
71 [It is] good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Il m’est bon que vous m’ayez humilié, afin de m’apprendre vos justifications.
72 The law of thy mouth [is] better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
La loi de votre bouche est bonne pour moi au dessus des miniers d’or et d’argent.
73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
Vos mains m’ont fait et m’ont formé; donnez-moi l’intelligence, afin que j’apprenne vos commandements.
74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
Ceux qui vous craignent me verront, et se réjouiront, parce qu’en vos paroles j’ai espéré.
75 I know, O LORD, that thy judgments [are] right, and [that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
J’ai reconnu, Seigneur, que vos jugements sont équité, et que c’est dans votre vérité que vous m’avez humilié.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word to thy servant.
Qu’elle se montre, votre miséricorde, afin qu’elle me console, selon votre parole à votre serviteur.
77 Let thy tender mercies come to me, that I may live: for thy law [is] my delight.
Viennent sur moi vos bontés, et je vivrai, parce que votre loi est ma méditation.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.
Qu’ils soient confondus, les superbes, parce qu’injustement ils ont commis l’iniquité contre moi: pour moi, je m’exercerai dans vos commandements.
79 Let those that fear thee turn to me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
Qu’ils se tournent vers moi, ceux qui vous craignent et qui connaissent vos témoignages.
80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I may not be ashamed.
Devienne mon cœur sans tache dans vos justifications, afin que je ne sois pas confondu.
81 CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: [but] I hope in thy word.
Mon âme a défailli dans l’attente de votre salut, et en votre parole j’ai beaucoup espéré.
82 My eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
Mes yeux ont défailli dans l’attente de votre parole, disant: Quand me consolerez-vous?
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; [yet] I do not forget thy statutes.
Parce que je suis devenu comme une outre dans la gelée: je n’ai pas oublié vos justifications.
84 How many [are] the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
Quel est le nombre de jours de votre serviteur? quand ferez-vous justice de ceux qui me persécutent?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which [are] not according to thy law.
Des hommes iniques m’ont raconté des choses fabuleuses, mais ce n’est pas comme votre loi.
86 All thy commandments [are] faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
Tous vos commandements sont vérité: iniquement ils m’ont persécuté, venez à mon aide.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
Ils m’ont presque anéanti sur la terre; mais moi je n’ai pas abandonné vos commandements.
88 Revive me after thy loving-kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
Selon votre miséricorde, rendez-moi la vie, et je garderai les témoignages de votre bouche.
89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Éternellement, Seigneur, votre parole demeure dans le ciel.
90 Thy faithfulness [is] to all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
À toutes les générations passe votre vérité: vous avez fondé la terre, et elle demeure stable.
91 They continue this day according to thy ordinances: for all [are] thy servants.
Par votre ordre persévère le jour, parce que toutes choses vous sont assujetties.
92 Unless thy law [had been] my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction.
Si ce n’était que votre loi est ma méditation, j’aurais peut-être péri dans mon humiliation.
93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast revived me.
Éternellement je n’oublierai pas vos justifications, parce que c’est par elles-mêmes que vous m’avez rendu la vie.
94 I [am] thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
C’est à vous que j’appartiens, sauvez-moi; parce que j’ai recherché vos justifications.
95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: [but] I will consider thy testimonies.
Des pécheurs m’ont attendu, afin de me perdre; mais j’ai compris vos témoignages.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: [but] thy commandment [is] exceeding broad.
J’ai vu la fin de toute perfection: votre commandement est étendu infiniment.
97 MEM. O how I love thy law! it [is] my meditation all the day.
Comme j’ai toujours aimé votre loi, Seigneur, tout le jour elle est ma méditation.
98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than my enemies: for they [are] ever with me.
Vous m’avez rendu plus prudent que mes ennemis par votre commandement, parce qu’il est pour jamais avec moi.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [are] my (meditation)
J’ai été plus intelligent que tous ceux qui m’instruisaient, parce que vos témoignages sont ma méditation.
100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
J’ai été plus intelligent que les vieillards, parce que j’ai recherché vos commandements.
101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
De toute mauvaise voie j’ai détourné mes pieds, afin que je garde votre parole.
102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
De vos jugements je ne me suis point écarté, parce que c’est vous qui m’avez prescrit une loi.
103 How sweet are thy words to my taste! [yes, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!
Que vos paroles sont douces à ma gorge, plus douces que le miel à ma bouche!
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
Par vos commandements j’ai acquis de l’intelligence: c’est pour cela que j’ai haï toute voie d’iniquité.
105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
C’est une lampe à mes pieds que votre parole, et une lumière dans mes sentiers.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform [it], that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
J’ai juré, et j’ai résolu de garder les jugements de votre justice.
107 I am afflicted very much: revive me, O LORD, according to thy word.
J’ai été extrêmement humilié, Seigneur, rendez-moi la vie selon votre parole.
108 Accept, I beseech thee, the free-will-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
Ayez pour agréables les hommages volontaires de ma bouche, Seigneur, et enseignez-moi vos jugements.
109 My soul [is] continually in my hand: yet I do not forget thy law.
Mon âme est toujours en mes mains, et je n’ai pas oublié votre loi.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
Des pécheurs m’ont tendu un piège, et je n’ai point erré loin de vos commandements.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they [are] the rejoicing of my heart.
C’est en héritage que j’ai acquis pour jamais vos témoignages, parce qu’ils sont l’exultation de mon cœur.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, [even to] the end.
J’ai incliné mon cœur à accomplir pour jamais vos justifications, à cause de la récompense.
113 SAMECH. I hate [vain] thoughts: but thy law do I love.
J’ai eu en haine les hommes iniques, et j’ai aimé votre loi.
114 Thou [art] my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Mon aide et mon soutien, c’est vous, et en votre parole j’ai beaucoup espéré.
115 Depart from me, ye evil-doers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
Éloignez-vous de moi, méchants, et j’étudierai les commandements de mon Dieu.
116 Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Soutenez-moi selon votre parole, et je vivrai, et ne me confondez pas dans mon attente.
117 Support me, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect to thy statutes continually.
Aidez-moi, et je serai sauvé; et je méditerai toujours sur vos justifications.
118 Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
Vous avez méprisé tous ceux qui s’éloignent de vos jugements, parce que leur pensée est injuste.
119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth [like] dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
J’ai regardé comme prévariquant tous les pécheurs de la terre: c’est pourquoi j’ai aimé vos témoignages.
120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
Transpercez mes chairs de votre crainte; à la vue de vos jugements j’ai craint.
121 AIN. I have done judgment and justice; leave me not to my oppressors.
J’ai fait jugement et justice; ne me livrez pas à ceux qui me calomnient.
122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
Protégez votre serviteur pour le bien, que les superbes ne me calomnient point.
123 My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
Mes yeux ont défailli dans l’attente de votre salut, et dans l’attente de la parole de votre justice.
124 Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
Agissez avec votre serviteur selon votre miséricorde, et enseignez-moi vos justifications.
125 I [am] thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
Je suis votre serviteur, moi, donnez-moi l’intelligence, afin que je connaisse vos témoignages.
126 [It is] time for [thee], LORD, to work: [for] they have made void thy law.
Il est temps d’agir. Seigneur, ils ont dissipé votre loi.
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yes, above fine gold.
C’est pour cela que j’ai aimé votre loi au-dessus de l’or et de la topaze.
128 Therefore I esteem all [thy] precepts [concerning] all [things to be] right; [and] I hate every false way.
C’est pour cela que je me dirigeais vers tous vos commandements, et que j’ai eu toute voie inique en haine.
129 PE. Thy testimonies [are] wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
Admirables sont vos témoignages; c’est pour cela que mon âme les a étudiés.
130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding to the simple.
La manifestation de vos paroles illumine, elle donne l’intelligence aux petits.
131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
J’ai ouvert ma bouche, et j’ai attiré l’air, parce que je désirais vos commandements.
132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful to me, as thou usest to do to those that love thy name.
Jetez un regard sur moi, et ayez pitié de moi, selon votre équité à l’égard de ceux qui aiment votre nom.
133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Dirigez mes pas selon votre parole, qu’aucune injustice ne me domine.
134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
Délivrez-moi des calomnies des hommes, afin que je garde vos justifications.
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thy statutes.
Faites briller la lumière de votre face sur votre serviteur, et enseignez-moi vos justifications.
136 Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not thy law.
Mes yeux ont fait couler des cours d’eaux, parce qu’ils ont violé votre loi.
137 TSADDI. Righteous [art] thou, O LORD, and upright [are] thy judgments.
Vous êtes juste, Seigneur, et droit est votre jugement.
138 Thy testimonies [that] thou hast commanded [are] righteous and very faithful.
Vous avez établi la justice, vos témoignages et votre vérité très solidement.
139 My zeal hath consumed me; because my enemies have forgotten thy words.
Mon zèle m’a fait sécher, parce que mes ennemis ont oublié vos paroles.
140 Thy word [is] very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
Votre parole a été très éprouvée par le feu, et votre serviteur l’a aimée.
141 I [am] small and despised: [yet] I do not forget thy precepts.
Je suis jeune et méprisé, mais je n’ai pas oublié vos justifications.
142 Thy righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness, and thy law [is] the truth.
Votre justice est justice éternellement, et votre loi vérité.
143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: [yet] thy commandments [are] my delights.
La tribulation et l’angoisse m’ont atteint, vos commandements, c’est ma méditation.
144 The righteousness of thy testimonies [is] everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
Vos témoignages sont équités éternellement: donnez-moi l’intelligence et je vivrai.
145 KOPH. I cried with [my] whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
J’ai crié en tout mon cœur, exaucez-moi. Seigneur, je rechercherai vos justifications.
146 I cried to thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
J’ai crié vers vous, sauvez-moi, afin que je garde vos commandements.
147 I came before the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
Je me suis hâté de bonne heure, et j’ai crié, parce qu’en vos paroles j’ai beaucoup espéré.
148 My eyes anticipated the [night] watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
Mes yeux vous ont prévenu dès le point du jour, afin que je méditasse vos paroles.
149 Hear my voice, according to thy loving-kindness: O LORD, revive me according to thy judgment.
Écoutez ma voix selon votre miséricorde, Seigneur, et selon votre jugement donnez-moi la vie.
150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
Ils se sont approchés de l’iniquité, ceux qui me persécutent, et ils se sont éloignés de votre loi.
151 Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.
Vous êtes proche, vous, Seigneur, et toutes vos voies sont vérité.
152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
Dès le commencement j’ai reconnu touchant vos témoignages, que vous les avez fondés pour l’éternité.
153 RESH. Consider my affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
Voyez mon humiliation, et délivrez-moi, parce que je n’ai pas oublié votre loi.
154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: revive me according to thy word.
Jugez mon jugement et rachetez-moi: à cause de votre parole, donnez-moi la vie.
155 Salvation [is] far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
Loin des pécheurs est le salut, parce qu’ils n’ont pas recherché vos justifications.
156 Great [are] thy tender mercies, O LORD: revive me according to thy judgments.
Vos miséricordes sont nombreuses, Seigneur: selon votre jugement donnez-moi la vie.
157 Many [are] my persecutors and my enemies; [yet] I do not decline from thy testimonies.
Nombreux sont ceux qui me persécutent et qui me tourmentent; mais je ne me suis point détourné de vos témoignages,
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
J’ai vu des prévariquants et j’ai séché, parce qu’ils n’ont pas gardé vos paroles.
159 Consider how I love thy precepts: revive me, O LORD, according to thy loving-kindness.
Voyez que j’ai aimé vos commandements, Seigneur: dans votre miséricorde donnez-moi la vie.
160 Thy word [is] true [from] the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever.
Le principe de vos paroles est vérité: éternels sont tous les jugements de votre justice.
161 SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
Des princes m’ont persécuté gratuitement, et mon cœur a redouté vos paroles.
162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Pour moi, je me réjouirai dans vos paroles, comme celui qui a trouvé de grandes dépouilles.
163 I hate and abhor lying: [but] thy law do I love.
J’ai eu l’iniquité en haine et en abomination; mais j’ai aimé votre loi.
164 Seven times a day do I praise thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
Sept fois le jour, je vous ai adressé une louange, sur les jugements de votre justice.
165 Great peace have they who love thy law: and nothing shall cause them to stumble.
Paix abondante pour ceux qui aiment votre loi; il n’y a pas pour eux de scandale.
166 LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and performed thy commandments.
J’attendais votre salut, Seigneur, et j’ai aimé vos commandements.
167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
Mon âme a gardé vos témoignages, et elle les a aimés ardemment.
168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways [are] before thee.
J’ai observé vos commandements et vos témoignages, parce que toutes mes voies sont en votre présence.
169 TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
Que ma supplication approche de votre présence. Seigneur; selon votre parole donnez-moi l’intelligence.
170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
Que ma demande pénètre en votre présence, selon votre parole délivrez-moi.
171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
Mes lèvres feront retentir un hymne, lorsque vous m’aurez enseigné vos justifications.
172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments [are] righteousness.
Ma langue publiera votre parole, parce que tous vos commandements sont équité.
173 Let thy hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
Que votre main soit sur moi pour me sauver, parce que j’ai fait choix de vos commandements.
174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [is] my delight.
J’ai désiré votre salut, Seigneur, et votre loi est ma méditation.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
Mon âme vivra, et vous louera, et vos jugements me viendront en aide.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
J’ai erré comme une brebis qui s’est perdue: cherchez votre serviteur, parce que je n’ai pas oublié vos commandements.
