< Psalms 119 >

1 ALEPH. Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Woayra ame siwo kpɔtsɔtsɔ mele woƒe mɔwo ŋu o, ame siwo zɔna ɖe Yehowa ƒe se la nu.
2 Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.
Woayra ame siwo léa eƒe ɖoɖowo me ɖe asi, eye wodinɛ kple woƒe dzi blibo.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Womewɔa vɔ̃ aɖeke o; ke boŋ wozɔna le eƒe mɔwo dzi.
4 Thou hast commanded [us] to keep thy precepts diligently.
Èwɔ se siwo dzi wòle be woawɔ ɖo blibo la da ɖi.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
O! Ɖe nye mɔwo li ke sesĩe le wò sewo dzi wɔwɔ me la, anyo ŋutɔ.
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all thy commandments.
Ekema ŋu makpem ne mebu wò sewo katã ŋu o.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Makafu wò le dzi dzɔdzɔe me, ne mele wò se dzɔdzɔeawo srɔ̃m.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Mawɔ ɖe wò sededewo dzi, eya ta mègagblẽm ɖi keŋkeŋ o.
9 BETH. Wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed [to it], according to thy word.
Aleke ɖekakpui awɔ, be eƒe mɔ dzi nanɔ dzadzɛe ɣe sia ɣi? To agbenɔnɔ ɖe wò nya la nu mee.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Madi wò kple nye dzi blibo, eya ta mègana matra tso wò sewo gbɔ o.
11 Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Meɣla wò nya ɖe nye dzi me, be nyemawɔ nu vɔ̃ ɖe ŋuwò o.
12 Blessed [art] thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
O! Yehowa, woakafu wò ɖaa; fia wò sededewom.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
Matsɔ nye nu axlẽ se siwo katã do tso wò nu me la afia.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all riches.
Melé wò ɖoɖowo me ɖe asi dzidzɔtɔe, abe ale si ame kpɔa dzidzɔ ɖe kesinɔnu gbogbowo ŋu ene.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect to thy ways.
Mede ŋugble le wò ɖoɖowo ŋu, eye melé ŋku ɖe wò mɔwo ŋu.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Wò sededewo doa dzidzɔ nam, nyemaŋlɔ wò nya la be o.
17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, [that] I may live, and keep thy word.
Wɔ nyui na wò dɔla, be manɔ agbe. Mawɔ wò nya la dzi.
18 Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Ʋu nye ŋkuwo be makpɔ nukunuwo le wò se la me.
19 I [am] a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
Amedzroe menye le anyigba dzi, eya ta mègaɣla wò sededewo ɖem o.
20 My soul breaketh for the longing [that it hath] to thy judgments at all times.
Nu te nye luʋɔ ŋu, le wò sewo yometiti ɣe sia ɣi ta.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud [that are] cursed, who do err from thy commandments.
Èka mo na dadalawo, ame siwo woƒo fi de, eye wotra tso wò sewo gbɔ.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Ɖe ŋukpe kple vlododo ɖa le ŋunye, elabena melé wò sewo me ɖe asi.
23 Princes also did sit [and] speak against me: [but] thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Togbɔ be dziɖulawo nɔ anyi ɖe teƒe ɖeka, eye wole ŋunye gblẽm hã la, wò dɔla ade ŋugble le wò sededewo ŋu.
24 Thy testimonies also [are] my delight, [and] my counselors.
Wò ɖoɖowo dzɔa dzi nam; wonye nye aɖaŋuɖolawo.
25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth to the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
Wotsɔm mlɔ anyigba le ke me, kpɔ nye agbe ta le wò nya la nu.
26 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
Mexlẽ nye mɔwo fia, eye nèɖo tom. Fia wò sededewom.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
Na mase wò sewo ƒe nufiafia gɔme; ekema made ŋugble le wò nukunuwo ŋu.
28 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according to thy word.
Nuxaxa na nye luʋɔ gbɔdzɔ; do ŋusẽm le wò nya la nu.
29 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
Ɖem le alakpamɔwo dzi, eye nàve nunye to wò se la dzi.
30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid [before me].
Metia nyateƒe ƒe mɔ, eye nye dzi ku ɖe wò sewo ŋu.
31 I have adhered to thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
Meku ɖe wò sewo ŋu vevie, o Yehowa, eya ta mègana ŋu nakpem o.
32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
Mele du dzi le wò sewo ƒe mɔ dzi, elabena èna nye dzi gbɔ ɖe me.
33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it [to] the end.
O, Yehowa, fia ale si madze wò sededewo yomee lam, ekema malé wo me ɖe asi va se ɖe nuwuwu.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yes, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.
Na gɔmesesem, ekema malé wò se la me ɖe asi, eye mawɔ edzi kple nye dzi blibo.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for in that do I delight.
Dam ɖe wò sededewo ƒe mɔ dzi, elabena afi ma mekpɔa dzidzɔ le.
36 Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Trɔ nye dzi ɖe wò sewo ŋu, ke menye ɖe ɖokuitɔdidi ƒe viɖe ŋu o.
37 Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity; [and] revive thou me in thy way.
Ɖe nye ŋku ɖa le nu maɖinuwo ŋu, eye nàɖe nye agbe le wò nya la nu.
38 Establish thy word to thy servant, who [is devoted] to thy fear.
Wɔ wò ŋugbedodo la dzi na wò dɔla, ale be woavɔ̃ wò.
39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments [are] good.
Ɖe ŋukpe si vɔ̃m mele la ɖa, elabena wò sewo nyo.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: revive me in thy righteousness.
Mele wò sewo dim vevie ŋutɔ! Le wò dzɔdzɔenyenye ta, ɖe nye agbe.
41 VAU. Let thy mercies come also to me, O LORD, [even] thy salvation, according to thy word.
O! Yehowa, wò lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la neva gbɔnye; nenema kee nye wò xɔname hã le wò ŋugbedodo la nu,
42 So shall I have with which to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
ekema maɖo eŋu na ame si le alɔme ɖem le ŋunye, elabena meka ɖe wò nya dzi.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
Mègaɖe nyateƒe ƒe nya la le nye nu me o, elabena meda nye mɔkpɔkpɔ ɖe wò sewo dzi.
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
Mawɔ ɖe wò se la dzi ɣe sia ɣi, tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
Mazɔ le ablɔɖe me, elabena medi wò ɖoɖowo yomemɔ.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
Maƒo nu tso wò sewo ŋu le fiawo ŋkume, eye ŋu makpem o.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Wò sededewo doa dzidzɔ nam, elabena melɔ̃a wo.
48 My hands also will I lift to thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
Medo nye asiwo ɖe dzi na wò sedede siwo melɔ̃ la, eye mede ŋugble le wò sededewo ŋu.
49 ZAIN. Remember the word to thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
Ɖo ŋku nya si nègblɔ na wò dɔla la dzi, elabena ètsɔ mɔkpɔkpɔ de menye.
50 This [is] my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath revived me.
Esiae nye nye akɔfafa le nye fukpekpe me, be wò ŋugbedodo ɖe nye agbe.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: [yet] I have not declined from thy law.
Dadalawo ɖua fewu le ŋunye faa, gake nyemetrɔ le wò se la yome o.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
O! Yehowa, meɖo ŋku wò blemasewo dzi, elabena mekpɔa akɔfafa le wo me.
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
Ŋɔdzi lém le ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ta, ame siwo gbe nu le wò se la gbɔ.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
Afi sia afi si medze la, wò sewo nyea nye ha ƒe tanya.
55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
O! Yehowa, le zã me la, meɖoa ŋku wò ŋkɔ dzi, eye malé wò sewo me ɖe asi.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
Esia nye tɔnye gome, elabena mewɔa wò ɖoɖowo dzi.
57 CHETH. [Thou art] my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
O! Yehowa, wòe nye nye gomekpɔkpɔ, eya ta medo ŋugbe be mawɔ ɖe wò nyawo dzi.
58 I entreated thy favor with [my] whole heart: be merciful to me according to thy word.
Medi wò ŋkume kple nye dzi blibo, eya ta ve nunye le wò ŋugbedodo la nu.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
Melé ŋku ɖe nye mɔwo ŋu, eye metrɔ nye afɔ ɖe wò nuɖoanyiwo ŋu.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
Maɖe abla, nyemahe ɖe megbe o, be mawɔ ɖe wò sededewo dzi.
61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: [but] I have not forgotten thy law.
Togbɔ be ame vɔ̃ɖiwo blam kple ka hã la, nyemaŋlɔ wò sewo be o.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
Mefɔ le zãtitina be mada akpe na wò ɖe wò se dzɔdzɔeawo ta.
63 I [am] a companion of all [them] that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Menye xɔ̃ na ame siwo katã vɔ̃a wò kple ame siwo katã dze wò sewo yome.
64 The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
O! Yehowa, anyigba dzi yɔ fũu kple wò lɔlɔ̃, eya ta fia wò sededewom.
65 TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according to thy word.
O! Yehowa, wɔ nyui na wò dɔla le wò nya la nu.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Fia nunya kple afia nyui tsotsom, elabena mexɔ wò sededewo dzi se.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Hafi woava aka hiãm la, metra mɔ, ke azɔ la, meɖo to wò nya la.
68 Thou [art] good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
Wò la, ènyo, eye nu si nèwɔ la hã nyo, eya ta fia wò sededewom.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me: [but] I will keep thy precepts with [my] whole heart.
Togbɔ be dadalawo tsɔ alakpa sisi ɖe ŋunye keŋ hã la, melé wò sewo me ɖe asi kple nye dzi blibo.
70 Their heart is as gross as fat; [but] I delight in thy law.
Woƒe dzi ku atri, eye megasea naneke o, ke nye la, mekpɔa dzidzɔ ɖe wò se la ŋu.
71 [It is] good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Enyo be woka hiãm, ale be mate ŋu asrɔ̃ wò sededewo.
72 The law of thy mouth [is] better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
Se siwo do tso wò nu me la xɔ asi nam wu sika kple klosalo akpewo.
73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
Wò asie wɔm, eye wò asimee medo tso; tsɔ gɔmesese nam, be masrɔ̃ wò sededewo.
74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
Na ame siwo vɔ̃a wò la nakpɔ dzidzɔ ne wokpɔm, elabena metsɔ nye mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe wò nya la dzi.
75 I know, O LORD, that thy judgments [are] right, and [that] thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
O! Yehowa, menya be wò sewo le dzɔdzɔe, eye le wò dzɔdzɔenyenye la me, nèka hiãm.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word to thy servant.
Na be wò lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la nanye nye akɔfafa, le ŋugbe si nèdo na wò dɔla la ta.
77 Let thy tender mercies come to me, that I may live: for thy law [is] my delight.
Wò dɔmenyo neɖiɖi ɖe dzinye, be manɔ agbe, elabena wò se lae nye nye dzidzɔ.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.
Na ŋu nakpe dadala, le esi wòwɔ vɔ̃ ɖe ŋunye, nye nanekemawɔmawɔe; ke nye la, made ŋugble le wò ɖoɖowo ŋu.
79 Let those that fear thee turn to me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
Na ame siwo vɔ̃a wò la natrɔ ɖe ŋunye, ame siwo se wò nuɖoanyiwo gɔme.
80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I may not be ashamed.
Na kpɔtsɔtsɔ manɔ nye dzi ŋuti ɖe wò sededewo ŋu o, ale be ŋu makpem o.
81 CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: [but] I hope in thy word.
Nu ti kɔ na nye luʋɔ le wò ɖeɖedidi vevie ta, gake metsɔ nye mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe wò nya la dzi.
82 My eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
Nu te nye ŋkuwo ŋu, le mɔkpɔkpɔ na wò ŋugbedodo la ta. Megblɔ be, “Ɣe ka ɣi nàfa akɔ nam?”
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; [yet] I do not forget thy statutes.
Togbɔ be mele abe waingolo le dzudzɔ me ene hã la, nyemeŋlɔ wò sededewo be o.
84 How many [are] the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
Va se ɖe ɣe ka ɣi wò dɔla alala? Ɣe ka ɣi nàhe to na yonyemetilawo?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which [are] not according to thy law.
Dadalawo ɖe ʋe ɖi nam, nu si tsi tsitre ɖe wò se la ŋu.
86 All thy commandments [are] faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
Wò sededewo katã nye nu si dzi woaka ɖo; kpe ɖe ŋunye, elabena amewo ti yonyeme susumanɔmetɔe.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
Esusɔ vie woɖem ɖa le anyigba dzi kloe, gake nyemeŋlɔ wò ɖoɖowo be o.
88 Revive me after thy loving-kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
Le wò lɔlɔ̃ la ta, kpɔ nye agbe ta, eye maɖo to se siwo do tso wò nu me.
89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
O! Yehowa, wò nya la nye nya mavɔ, eli ke goŋgoŋgoŋ ɖe dziƒo.
90 Thy faithfulness [is] to all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
Wò nuteƒewɔwɔ li le dzidzimewo katã; wòe ɖo anyigba gɔme anyi, eye wòli ke ɖaa.
91 They continue this day according to thy ordinances: for all [are] thy servants.
Wò sewo gali va se ɖe egbe, elabena wòe nuwo katã subɔna.
92 Unless thy law [had been] my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction.
Nenye ɖe wò se la menye nye dzidzɔ o la, anye ne metsrɔ̃ le nye hiãkame me.
93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast revived me.
Nyemaŋlɔ wò ɖoɖowo be o, elabena èkpɔ nye agbe ta to wo dzi.
94 I [am] thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
Ɖem, elabena tɔwò menye, elabena medi wò ɖoɖowo ƒe mɔ.
95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: [but] I will consider thy testimonies.
Ame vɔ̃ɖiwo le lalam be woatsrɔ̃m, ke nye la, madzro wò sewo me.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: [but] thy commandment [is] exceeding broad.
Mekpɔ seɖoƒe na nu de blibo ɖe sia ɖe, gake wò sededewo ya la, seɖoƒe meli na wo o.
97 MEM. O how I love thy law! it [is] my meditation all the day.
O, ale gbegbe mehelɔ̃ wò se lae! Medea ŋugble le eŋuti ŋkeke blibo la.
98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than my enemies: for they [are] ever with me.
Wò sededewo wɔm nunyalae wu nye futɔwo katã, elabena wole gbɔnye ɖaa.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies [are] my (meditation)
Gɔmesese su asinye wu nye nufialawo katã, elabena medea ŋugble le wò ɖoɖowo ŋu.
100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
Gɔmesese le asinye wu dumegãwo, elabena mewɔ ɖe wò ɖoɖowo dzi.
101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
Meɖe nye afɔ ɖa le mɔ vɔ̃ ɖe sia ɖe dzi, ale be mawɔ ɖe wò nya la dzi.
102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
Nyemedzo le wò sewo gbɔ o, elabena wò ŋutɔe fia num.
103 How sweet are thy words to my taste! [yes, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!
Wò nyawo vivia nunye ŋutɔ, eye wovivina le nye nu me wu anyitsi nyuitɔ!
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
Gɔmesese su asinye to wò sewo dzi, eya ta metsri mɔ gɔglɔ̃ ɖe sia ɖe.
105 NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
Wò nya la nye akaɖi na nye afɔ kple kekeli na nye mɔ.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform [it], that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
Meka atam, eye meɖo kpe edzi be, wò se dzɔdzɔewo yome ko manɔ.
107 I am afflicted very much: revive me, O LORD, according to thy word.
Mekpe fu geɖe, eya ta o Yehowa, kpɔ nye agbe ta, le wò nya la nu.
108 Accept, I beseech thee, the free-will-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
O! Yehowa, xɔ kafukafu si nye nu dzra ɖo ɖi la, eye nàfia wò sewom.
109 My soul [is] continually in my hand: yet I do not forget thy law.
Togbɔ be metsɔ nye agbe ɖo nye asiƒome enuenu hã la, nyemaŋlɔ wò se la be o.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
Ame vɔ̃ɖi la tre mɔ nam, gake nyemetra tso wò nuɖoanyiwo gbɔ o.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they [are] the rejoicing of my heart.
Wò ɖoɖowo nye nye domenyinu tegbee, elabena wonye nye dzi ƒe dzidzɔ.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, [even to] the end.
Nye dzi ku ɖe wò sededewo dzi wɔwɔ ŋu va se ɖe nuwuwu.
113 SAMECH. I hate [vain] thoughts: but thy law do I love.
Melé fu susuevetɔwo, gake melɔ̃ wò se la.
114 Thou [art] my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
Wòe nye nye sitsoƒe kple nye akpoxɔnu, metsɔ nye mɔkpɔkpɔ de wò nya la me.
115 Depart from me, ye evil-doers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
Mite ɖa le gbɔnye, mi nu vlo wɔlawo, be mate ŋu alé nye Mawu ƒe sewo me ɖe asi!
116 Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Lém ɖe asi le wò ŋugbedodo la nu, ekema manɔ agbe, eye mègana ŋu nakpem le nye mɔkpɔkpɔ me o.
117 Support me, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect to thy statutes continually.
Lém ɖe te, ekema makpɔ ɖeɖe, eye ɣe sia ɣi made bubu wò sededewo ŋu.
118 Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
Ègbe nu le ame siwo katã tra mɔ tso wò sededewo gbɔ la gbɔ, elabena woƒe alakpadada nye nu dzodzro.
119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth [like] dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
Ègbe nu le ame vɔ̃ɖi siwo katã le anyigba dzi la gbɔ abe gbeɖuɖɔ ene, eya ta melɔ̃ wò nuɖoanyiwo.
120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
Nye lãme le ƒoƒom le vɔvɔ̃ na wò ta, eye nye mo wɔ yaa le wò sewo ta.
121 AIN. I have done judgment and justice; leave me not to my oppressors.
Mewɔ nu si dzɔ kple nu si le eteƒe, eya ta mègaɖe asi le ŋunye na ame siwo tem ɖe anyi la o.
122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
Kpɔ wò dɔla la ƒe dedinɔnɔ gbɔ, mègana dadalawo natem ɖe to o.
123 My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
Nu te nye ŋkuwo ŋu le wò ɖeɖedidi ta.
124 Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
Wɔ nu kple wò dɔla le wò lɔlɔ̃ ta, eye nàfia wò sededewom.
125 I [am] thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
Wò dɔlae menye, eya ta na sidzedzem, be mase wò nuɖoanyiwo gɔme.
126 [It is] time for [thee], LORD, to work: [for] they have made void thy law.
O! Yehowa, ɣeyiɣi de na wò be nàɖe afɔ, elabena wole wò sewo tum.
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yes, above fine gold.
Elabena melɔ̃ wò sewo wu sika kple sika nyuitɔ.
128 Therefore I esteem all [thy] precepts [concerning] all [things to be] right; [and] I hate every false way.
Eye esi mebu wò ɖoɖowo katã be wole dzɔdzɔe ta la, metsri mɔ gɔglɔ̃ ɖe sia ɖe.
129 PE. Thy testimonies [are] wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding to the simple.
Kekeli vana ne woʋu go wò nyawo, eye nugɔmesese sua ame gblɔewo gɔ̃ hã si.
131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
Meke nu ɖe te hele gbɔgbɔm fuxefuxe, le wò sewo dim vevie.
132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful to me, as thou usest to do to those that love thy name.
Trɔ ɖe ŋunye, eye nàkpɔ nye nublanui abe ale si nèwɔnɛ ɖaa na ame siwo lɔ̃a wò ŋkɔ la ene.
133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Na maɖe afɔ le wò nya la nu, eye mègana nu vɔ̃ aɖeke naɖu dzinye o.
134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
Ɖem tso amewo ƒe teteɖeanyi me, be mawɔ ɖe wò ɖoɖowo dzi.
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thy statutes.
Na wò mo naklẽ na wò dɔla, eye nàfia wò sededewom.
136 Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not thy law.
Aɖatsi le sisim le nye ŋkuwo me abe tɔʋu ene, elabena womewɔ wò sewo dzi o.
137 TSADDI. Righteous [art] thou, O LORD, and upright [are] thy judgments.
O! Yehowa, wò la, dzɔdzɔetɔe nènye, eye wò sewo hã le dzɔdzɔe.
138 Thy testimonies [that] thou hast commanded [are] righteous and very faithful.
Nu siwo nèɖo anyi hã la le dzɔdzɔe, woaka ɖe wo dzi ɖikeke manɔmee.
139 My zeal hath consumed me; because my enemies have forgotten thy words.
Dzo si metsɔ ɖe ŋuwò la na megbɔdzɔ, elabena nye futɔwo gbe nu le wò nyawo gbɔ.
140 Thy word [is] very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
Wodo wò ŋugbedodowo katã kpɔ nyuie, eye wò dɔla lɔ̃ wo ŋutɔ.
141 I [am] small and despised: [yet] I do not forget thy precepts.
Togbɔ be wodo vlom, eye nyemele ɖeke me o hã la, nyemeŋlɔ wò ɖoɖowo be o.
142 Thy righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness, and thy law [is] the truth.
Wò dzɔdzɔenyenye li tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me, eye wò se la hã nye nyateƒe.
143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: [yet] thy commandments [are] my delights.
Fukpekpe kple xaxa va dzinye, gake wò sededewo doa dzidzɔ nam.
144 The righteousness of thy testimonies [is] everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
Wò nuɖoanyiwo le dzɔdzɔe ɖaa, eya ta na gɔmesesem, be manɔ agbe.
145 KOPH. I cried with [my] whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
O! Yehowa, mele yɔwòm kple nye dzi blibo, eya ta tɔ nam, eye mawɔ wò sededewo dzi.
146 I cried to thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
Wòe meyɔ, xɔ nam, eye malé wò ɖoɖoawo me ɖe asi.
147 I came before the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
Mefɔ hafi ŋu ke, eye medo ɣli be woaxɔ nam, ke metsɔ nye mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe wò nya la dzi.
148 My eyes anticipated the [night] watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
Nye ŋkuwo le te le zã blibo la katã me, be made ŋugble le wò ŋugbedodowo ŋu.
149 Hear my voice, according to thy loving-kindness: O LORD, revive me according to thy judgment.
Se nye gbe, le wò lɔlɔ̃ la ta, O! Yehowa, ɖe nye agbe, le wò sewo ƒe ɖoɖo nu.
150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
Ame siwo le nu vɔ̃ɖiwo ɖom la gogo, gake wodidi tso wò se la gbɔ.
151 Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.
O! Yehowa, ètsɔ ɖe gbɔnye ɖe! Wò sededewo katã hã nye nyateƒe.
152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
Mesrɔ̃ nu tso wò se la me gbe aɖe gbe ke, be èɖo wo gɔme anyi be woanɔ anyi tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me.
153 RESH. Consider my affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: revive me according to thy word.

155 Salvation [is] far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
Ɖeɖe le adzɔge na ame vɔ̃ɖiwo, elabena womedia wò sededewo ƒe mɔ o.
156 Great [are] thy tender mercies, O LORD: revive me according to thy judgments.
O! Yehowa, wò nublanuikpɔkpɔ sɔ gbɔ, eya ta kpɔ nye agbe ta le wò sewo nu.
157 Many [are] my persecutors and my enemies; [yet] I do not decline from thy testimonies.
Futɔ siwo ti yonyeme la sɔ gbɔ ŋutɔ, gake nyemetrɔ le wò ɖoɖowo yome o.
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
Menyɔ ŋu xɔsemanɔsitɔwo, elabena womewɔa wò nya la dzi o.
159 Consider how I love thy precepts: revive me, O LORD, according to thy loving-kindness.
Kpɔ ale si melɔ̃ wò sewoe ɖa; eya ta o Yehowa, kpɔ nye agbe ta le wò lɔlɔ̃ la ta.
160 Thy word [is] true [from] the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever.
Wò nyawo katã nye nyateƒe, eye wò dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe sewo katã nye se mavɔwo.
161 SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
Dziɖulawo tia nye agbe yome susumanɔŋutɔe, gake nye dzi dzo nyanyanya le wò nya la ta.
162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Mekpɔ dzidzɔ le wò ŋugbedodo la me abe ame si ke ɖe afunyinu gbogbo aɖe ŋu ene.
163 I hate and abhor lying: [but] thy law do I love.
Metsri, eye menyɔ ŋu alakpa, ke melɔ̃ wò se la.
164 Seven times a day do I praise thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
Mekafua wò zi adre le ŋkeke me, le wò se dzɔdzɔeawo ta.
165 Great peace have they who love thy law: and nothing shall cause them to stumble.

166 LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and performed thy commandments.
O! Yehowa, mele wò xɔxɔ lalam, eye manɔ wò sededewo yome.
167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
Mawɔ ɖe wò nuɖoanyiwo dzi, elabena melɔ̃ wo ŋutɔ.
168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways [are] before thee.
Mawɔ ɖe wò sewo kple ɖoɖowo dzi, elabena nye mɔwo katã le nyanya na wò.
169 TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
O! Yehowa, nye ɣlidodo nede gbɔwò, tsɔ gɔmesese nam le wò nya la nu.
170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
Nye gbedodoɖawo nede gbɔwò; ɖem le wò ŋugbedodo la ta.
171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
Nye nuyiwo negbã go kple kafukafu, elabena èfia wò sededewom.
172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments [are] righteousness.
Nye aɖe adzi ha le wò nya la ŋu, elabena wò sededewo katã le dzɔdzɔe.
173 Let thy hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
Wò asi nenɔ klalo akpe ɖe ŋunye, elabena metia wò sewo.
174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [is] my delight.
O! Yehowa, wò xɔname le dzroyem vevie ŋutɔ, elabena wò se lae nye nye dzidzɔ.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
Na manɔ agbe, ne makafu wò, eye na wò sewo nalém ɖe te.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
