Psalms 118

1 O give thanks to the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Den gracias a Yavé, porque Él es bueno, Porque para siempre es su misericordia.

2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Diga ahora Israel: Que para siempre es su misericordia.

3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Diga la casa de Aarón: Que para siempre es su misericordia.

4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Digan ahora los que temen a Yavé: Que para siempre es su misericordia.

5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.

En mi angustia clamé a YA, Y YA me respondió Y me colocó en lugar amplio.

6 The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me?

Yavé está conmigo, No temeré Lo que me haga el hombre.

7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

Yavé está conmigo entre los que me ayudan. Por tanto veré mi deseo en los que me odian.

8 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Mejor es refugiarse en Yavé Que confiar en hombre.

9 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

Mejor es refugiarse en Yavé Que confiar en los poderosos.

10 All nations encompassed me: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

Todas las naciones me rodearon. En el Nombre de Yavé yo las destruiré.

11 They encompassed me; yes, they encompassed me: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

Me rodearon, Sí, me asediaron. En el Nombre de Yavé ciertamente las destruiré.

12 They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

Me rodearon como abejas. Se extinguieron como fuego de espinos. En el Nombre de Yavé yo ciertamente las destruiré.

13 Thou hast violently thrust at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

Ustedes me empujaron con violencia De modo que estaba cayendo, Pero me ayudó Yavé.

14 The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Mi Fortaleza y mi Canto es YA. Él es mi salvación.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

Voz de júbilo y de salvación hay en las tiendas de los justos. La mano derecha de Yavé hace proezas.

16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

La mano derecha de Yavé está levantada en alto. La mano derecha de Yavé realiza hazañas.

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

No moriré, sino viviré, Y contaré las obras de YA.

18 The LORD hath chastened me severely: but he hath not given me over to death.

Me disciplinó severamente YA, Pero no me entregó a la muerte.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter them, [and] I will praise the LORD:

Ábranme las puertas de la justicia. Entraré por ellas, Daré gracias a YA.

20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

Esta es la puerta de Yavé. Por ella entrarán los justos.

21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

Te alabaré porque me escuchaste, Y fuiste mi salvación.

22 The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.

La piedra que desecharon los edificadores Es cabeza del ángulo.

23 This is the LORD'S doing; it [is] wonderful in our eyes.

Esta es la obra de Yavé. Es maravillosa ante nuestros ojos.

24 This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Este es el día que hizo Yavé. ¡Regocijémonos y alegrémonos en él!

25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

Te imploramos, oh Yavé. ¡Sálvanos ahora! Te rogamos, oh Yavé que nos prosperes ahora.

26 Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

¡Bendito el que viene en el Nombre de Yavé! Desde la Casa de Yavé los bendecimos.

27 God [is] the LORD, who hath shown us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] to the horns of the altar.

ʼEL es Yavé, y nos dio luz, Aten con cuerdas sacrificios festivos a los cuernos del altar.

28 Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.

Tú eres mi ʼEL, y te doy gracias. Tú eres mi ʼElohim, te exaltaré.

29 O give thanks to the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

Den gracias a Yavé porque Él es bueno, Porque para siempre es su misericordia.
