Psalms 118
1 O give thanks to the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
“ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಹೇಳಲಿ.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
“ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆಯವರು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
“ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರು ಹೇಳಲಿ.
5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.
ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದೆನು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು.
6 The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me?
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಪರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಾನು ಭಯಪಡೆನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲನು?
7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕರು; ನಾನು ವೈರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯ ಸಾಧಿಸುವೆನು.
8 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
9 [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
10 All nations encompassed me: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
11 They encompassed me; yes, they encompassed me: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸುವೆನು.
12 They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
ಜೇನುನೊಣಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಅವರು ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸುವೆನು.
13 Thou hast violently thrust at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
ನಾನು ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ವೈರಿಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೂಕಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
14 The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೂ, ಬೆಂಬಲವೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ; ಅವರೇ ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದರು.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
ಜಯಘೋಷವೂ ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಯೂ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಗೈ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಎತ್ತಲಾಗಿದೆ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
ನಾನು ಸಾಯದೆ ಬದುಕಿರುವೆನು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಾರುವೆನು.
18 The LORD hath chastened me severely: but he hath not given me over to death.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter them, [and] I will praise the LORD:
ನೀತಿಯ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ; ಅವುಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸು.
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
ಇದೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಾಗಿಲು; ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವರು.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾವಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನಗೆ ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದಿರಿ.
22 The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.
ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ಕಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು.
23 This is the LORD'S doing; it [is] wonderful in our eyes.
ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
24 This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನವು ಇದೇ; ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡೋಣ.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನಮಗೆ ಜಯಕೊಡಿರಿ.
26 Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವೆವು.
27 God [is] the LORD, who hath shown us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] to the horns of the altar.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.
28 Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು; ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.
29 O give thanks to the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು; ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
