Psalms 116
1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice [and] my supplications.
Ndimakonda Yehova pakuti Iyeyo amamva mawu anga; Iye amamva kulira kwanga kopempha chifundo.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear to me, therefore will I call upon [him] as long as I live.
Pakuti ananditchera khutu, ndidzayitana Iye masiku onse a moyo wanga.
3 The sorrows of death encompassed me, and the pains of hell came upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
Zingwe za imfa zinandizinga, zoopsa za ku dziko la anthu akufa zinandigwera; ndinapeza mavuto ndi chisoni. (Sheol h7585)
4 Then I called upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Pamenepo ndinayitana dzina la Yehova: “Inu Yehova, pulumutseni!”
5 Gracious [is] the LORD, and righteous; yes, our God [is] merciful.
Yehova ndi wokoma mtima ndi wolungama Mulungu wathu ndi wodzaza ndi chifundo.
6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Yehova amateteza munthu wodzichepetsa mtima; pamene ndinali ndi chosowa chachikulu, Iye anandipulumutsa.
7 Return to thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Pumula iwe moyo wanga, pakuti Yehova wakuchitira zokoma.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, [and] my feet from falling.
Pakuti Inu Yehova mwapulumutsa moyo wanga ku imfa, maso anga ku misozi, mapazi anga kuti angapunthwe,
9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
kuti ine ndiyende pamaso pa Yehova mʼdziko la anthu amoyo.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
Ine ndinakhulupirira; choncho ndinati, “Ndasautsidwa kwambiri.”
11 I said in my haste, All men [are] liars.
Ndipo ndili mʼnkhawa yanga ndinati, “Anthu onse ndi abodza.”
12 What shall I render to the LORD [for] all his benefits towards me?
Ndingamubwezere chiyani Yehova, chifukwa cha zokoma zake zonse zimene wandichitira?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
Ndidzakweza chikho cha chipulumutso ndipo ndidzayitana dzina la Yehova.
14 I will pay my vows to the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
Ndidzakwaniritsa malonjezo anga kwa Yehova pamaso pa anthu ake onse.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.
Imfa ya anthu oyera mtima ndi yamtengowapatali pamaso pa Yehova.
16 O LORD, truly I [am] thy servant; I [am] thy servant, the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
Inu Yehova, zoonadi ndine mtumiki wanu: ndine mtumiki wanu, mwana wa mdzakazi wanu; Inu mwamasula maunyolo anga.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
Ndidzapereka nsembe yachiyamiko kwa Inu ndipo ndidzayitanira pa dzina la Yehova.
18 I will pay my vows to the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
Ndidzakwaniritsa malonjezo anga kwa Yehova pamaso pa anthu ake onse,
19 In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
mʼmabwalo a nyumba ya Yehova, mʼkati mwako iwe Yerusalemu. Tamandani Yehova.
