Psalms 114

1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of a foreign language;

Cuando Israel salió de Egipto, la casa de Jacob de un pueblo de lengua extranjera,

2 Judah was his sanctuary, [and] Israel his dominion.

Judá se convirtió en su santuario, Israel su dominio.

3 The sea saw [it], and fled: Jordan was driven back.

El mar lo vio y huyó. El Jordán fue expulsado.

4 The mountains skipped like rams, [and] the little hills like lambs.

Las montañas saltaron como carneros, las pequeñas colinas como corderos.

5 What [ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, [that] thou wast driven back?

¿Qué fue, mar, que huyó? Tú, Jordan, ¿te volviste?

6 Ye mountains, [that] ye skipped like rams; [and] ye little hills, like lambs?

¿Montañas, que saltan como carneros? ¿Colinas pequeñas, como corderos?

7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

Tiembla, tierra, ante la presencia del Señor, en la presencia del Dios de Jacob,

8 Who turned the rock [into] a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

que convirtió la roca en un estanque de agua, el pedernal en un manantial de aguas.
