Psalms 111

1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with [my] whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and [in] the congregation.

Dejen que que el Señor sea alabado. Alabaré al Señor con todo mi corazón, entre los rectos y en la reunión del pueblo.

2 The works of the LORD [are] great, sought out by all them that have pleasure in them.

Las obras del Señor son grandes, buscadas por todos aquellos que se deleitan en ellas.

3 His work [is] honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Su obra está llena de honor y gloria; y su justicia es inmutable para siempre.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD [is] gracious and full of compassion.

Cierto para siempre es el recuerdo de sus maravillas; el Señor está lleno de compasión y misericordia.

5 He hath given food to them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Ha dado comida a sus adoradores; mantendrá su acuerdo en mente para siempre.

6 He hath shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

Ha dejado en claro a su pueblo el poder de sus obras, dándoles la herencia de las naciones.

7 The works of his hands [are] verity and judgment; all his commandments [are] sure.

Las obras de sus manos son fe y justicia; todas sus leyes son inmutables.

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, [and are] done in truth and uprightness.

Pues son firmes por los siglos de los siglos, se hacen con fe y justicia.

9 He sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.

Él ha enviado salvación a su pueblo; él ha dado su palabra para siempre: santo es su nombre y grandemente temible.

10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

El temor del Señor es la mejor parte de la sabiduría: todos los que guardan sus leyes son sabios: su alabanza es eterna.
