Psalms 111

1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with [my] whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and [in] the congregation.

সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো। ন্যায়পরায়ণ লোকেদের সমাবেশে ও মণ্ডলীতে সমস্ত হৃদয় দিয়ে আমি তোমার স্তব করব।

2 The works of the LORD [are] great, sought out by all them that have pleasure in them.

সদাপ্রভুর কাজগুলি মহান; যারা সেসবে আমোদ করে তারা সেগুলি বিবেচনা করে।

3 His work [is] honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

তাঁর কাজকর্ম কত গৌরবান্বিত ও মহিমাময়, আর তাঁর ধার্মিকতা চিরস্থায়ী।

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD [is] gracious and full of compassion.

তিনি তাঁর আশ্চর্য কাজগুলি স্মরণীয় করেছেন; সদাপ্রভু কৃপাময় ও স্নেহশীল।

5 He hath given food to them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

যারা তাঁকে সম্ভ্রম করে তিনি তাদের আহার দেন; তিনি তাঁর নিয়ম চিরকাল স্মরণে রাখেন।

6 He hath shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

অন্যান্য জাতিদের দেশ তাদের দান করে তিনি তাঁর কর্মের পরাক্রম তাঁর প্রজাদের কাছে প্রকাশ করেছেন।

7 The works of his hands [are] verity and judgment; all his commandments [are] sure.

তাঁর হাতের কাজগুলি বিশ্বস্ত ও ন্যায়পরায়ণ; তাঁর সব অনুশাসন নির্ভরযোগ্য।

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, [and are] done in truth and uprightness.

সেগুলি চিরকালের জন্য প্রতিষ্ঠিত, যা বিশ্বস্ততায় ও ন্যায়পরায়ণতায় রচিত হয়েছে।

9 He sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.

তিনি তাঁর লোকেদের মুক্তি দিয়েছেন; তিনি চিরতরে নিজের নিয়ম স্থির করেছেন, তাঁর নাম পবিত্র ও ভয়াবহ।

10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.

সদাপ্রভুর ভয় প্রজ্ঞার আরম্ভ; যারা তাঁর অনুশাসন মান্য করে, তাদের ভালো বোধশক্তি আছে। তাঁর প্রশংসা নিত্যস্থায়ী।
