< Psalms 110 >
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
Ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. Naʻe pehē ʻE Sihova ki hoku ʻEiki, “Nofo koe ki hoku nima toʻomataʻu, kaeʻoua ke u ngaohi ho ngaahi fili ko ho tuʻungavaʻe.”
2 The LORD will send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.
ʻE fekau ʻe Sihova ʻae tokotoko ʻo ho mālohi mei Saione: “Ke ke pule ʻi he lotolotonga ʻo ho ngaahi fili.”
3 Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness: from the womb of the morning, thou hast the dew of thy youth.
ʻE loto matala ʻa hoʻo kakai ʻi he ʻaho ʻo ho mālohi, ʻi he ngaahi teunga matamatalelei ʻoe māʻoniʻoni mei he manāva ʻoe pongipongi: ʻoku ʻiate koe ʻae hahau ʻo hoʻo talavou.
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek.
Kuo fuakava ʻa Sihova, pea ʻe ʻikai liliu ia, “Ko e taulaʻeiki koe ʻo lauikuonga ʻi he lakanga ʻo Melikiseteke.”
5 The LORD at thy right hand will strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
Ko e ʻEiki ʻaia ʻoku ʻi ho nima toʻomataʻu, te ne taaʻi ʻae ngaahi tuʻi ʻi he ʻaho ʻo hono houhau.
6 He will judge among the heathen, he will fill [the places] with the dead bodies; he will wound the heads over many countries.
Te ne fakamaau ʻi he ʻao ʻoe hiteni, te ne fakapito ʻae ngaahi potu ʻaki ʻae ngaahi ʻangaʻanga; ʻe lavea ʻiate ia ʻae ʻulu ʻoe ngaahi fonua lahi.
7 He will drink of the brook in the way: therefore will he lift up the head.
ʻE inu ia ʻi he vaitafe ʻi he hala: ko ia te ne hiki hake ai ʻae ʻulu.
