Psalms 109
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
| لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. لِدَاوُدَ. مَزْمُورٌ يَا إِلَهَ تَسْبِيحِي لَا تَسْكُتْ، | ١ |
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
| لِأَنَّهُ قَدِ ٱنْفَتَحَ عَلَيَّ فَمُ ٱلشِّرِّيرِ وَفَمُ ٱلْغِشِّ. تَكَلَّمُوا مَعِي بِلِسَانِ كِذْبٍ، | ٢ |
3 They encompassed me also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
| بِكَلَامِ بُغْضٍ أَحَاطُوا بِي، وَقَاتَلُونِي بِلَا سَبَبٍ. | ٣ |
4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I [give myself to] prayer.
| بَدَلَ مَحَبَّتِي يُخَاصِمُونَنِي. أَمَّا أَنَا فَصَلَاةٌ. | ٤ |
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
| وَضَعُوا عَلَيَّ شَرًّا بَدَلَ خَيْرٍ، وَبُغْضًا بَدَلَ حُبِّي. | ٥ |
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
| فَأَقِمْ أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ شِرِّيرًا، وَلْيَقِفْ شَيْطَانٌ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ. | ٦ |
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
| إِذَا حُوكِمَ فَلْيَخْرُجْ مُذْنِبًا، وَصَلَاتُهُ فَلْتَكُنْ خَطِيَّةً. | ٧ |
8 Let his days be few; [and] let another take his office.
| لِتَكُنْ أَيَّامُهُ قَلِيلَةً، وَوَظِيفَتُهُ لِيَأْخُذْهَا آخَرُ. | ٨ |
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
| لِيَكُنْ بَنُوهُ أَيْتَامًا وَٱمْرَأَتُهُ أَرْمَلَةً. | ٩ |
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek [their bread] also out of their desolate places.
| لِيَتِهْ بَنُوهُ تَيَهَانًا وَيَسْتَعْطُوا، وَيَلْتَمِسُوا خُبْزًا مِنْ خِرَبِهِمْ. | ١٠ |
11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let strangers spoil his labor.
| لِيَصْطَدِ ٱلْمُرَابِي كُلَّ مَا لَهُ، وَلْيَنْهَبِ ٱلْغُرَبَاءُ تَعَبَهُ. | ١١ |
12 Let there be none to extend mercy to him: neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children.
| لَا يَكُنْ لَهُ بَاسِطٌ رَحْمَةً، وَلَا يَكُنْ مُتَرَأِفٌ عَلَى يَتَامَاهُ. | ١٢ |
13 Let his posterity be cut off; [and] in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
| لِتَنْقَرِضْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُ. فِي ٱلْجِيلِ ٱلْقَادِمِ لِيُمْحَ ٱسْمُهُمْ. | ١٣ |
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
| لِيُذْكَرْ إِثْمُ آبَائِهِ لَدَى ٱلرَّبِّ، وَلَا تُمْحَ خَطِيَّةُ أُمِّهِ. | ١٤ |
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
| لِتَكُنْ أَمَامَ ٱلرَّبِّ دَائِمًا، وَلْيَقْرِضْ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ. | ١٥ |
16 Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
| مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ رَحْمَةً، بَلْ طَرَدَ إِنْسَانًا مِسْكِينًا وَفَقِيرًا وَٱلْمُنْسَحِقَ ٱلْقَلْبِ لِيُمِيتَهُ. | ١٦ |
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come to him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
| وَأَحَبَّ ٱللَّعْنَةَ فَأَتَتْهُ، وَلَمْ يُسَرَّ بِٱلْبَرَكَةِ فَتَبَاعَدَتْ عَنْهُ. | ١٧ |
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
| وَلَبِسَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ مِثْلَ ثَوْبِهِ، فَدَخَلَتْ كَمِيَاهٍ فِي حَشَاهُ وَكَزَيْتٍ فِي عِظَامِهِ. | ١٨ |
19 Let it be to him as the garment [which] covereth him, and for a girdle with which he is girded continually.
| لِتَكُنْ لَهُ كَثَوْبٍ يَتَعَطَّفُ بِهِ، وَكَمِنْطَقَةٍ يَتَنَطَّقُ بِهَا دَائِمًا. | ١٩ |
20 [Let] this [be] the reward of my adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
| هَذِهِ أُجْرَةُ مُبْغِضِيَّ مِنْ عِنْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَأُجْرَةُ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّمِينَ شَرًّا عَلَى نَفْسِي. | ٢٠ |
21 But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy [is] good, deliver thou me.
| أَمَّا أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ ٱلسَّيِّدُ فَٱصْنَعْ مَعِي مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱسْمِكَ. لِأَنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ طَيِّبَةٌ نَجِّنِي. | ٢١ |
22 For I [am] poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
| فَإِنِّي فَقِيرٌ وَمِسْكِينٌ أَنَا، وَقَلْبِي مَجْرُوحٌ فِي دَاخِلِي. | ٢٢ |
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
| كَظِلٍّ عِنْدَ مَيْلِهِ ذَهَبْتُ. ٱنْتَفَضْتُ كَجَرَادَةٍ. | ٢٣ |
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
| رُكْبَتَايَ ٱرْتَعَشَتَا مِنَ ٱلصَّوْمِ، وَلَحْمِي هُزِلَ عَنْ سِمَنٍ. | ٢٤ |
25 I became also a reproach to them: [when] they looked upon me they shook their heads.
| وَأَنَا صِرْتُ عَارًا عِنْدَهُمْ. يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيَّ وَيُنْغِضُونَ رُؤُوسَهُمْ | ٢٥ |
26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
| أَعِنِّي يَارَبُّ إِلَهِي. خَلِّصْنِي حَسَبَ رَحْمَتِكَ. | ٢٦ |
27 That they may know that this [is] thy hand; [that] thou, LORD, hast done it.
| وَلْيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ هَذِهِ هِيَ يَدُكَ. أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ فَعَلْتَ هَذَا. | ٢٧ |
28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
| أَمَّا هُمْ فَيَلْعَنُونَ، وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَتُبَارِكُ. قَامُوا وَخَزُوا، أَمَّا عَبْدُكَ فَيَفْرَحُ. | ٢٨ |
29 Let my adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
| لِيَلْبِسْ خُصَمَائِي خَجَلًا، وَلْيَتَعَطَّفُوا بِخِزْيِهِمْ كَٱلرِّدَاءِ. | ٢٩ |
30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yes, I will praise him among the multitude.
| أَحْمَدُ ٱلرَّبَّ جِدًّا بِفَمِي، وَفِي وَسَطِ كَثِيرِينَ أُسَبِّحُهُ. | ٣٠ |
31 For he will stand at the right hand of the poor, to save [him] from those that condemn his soul.
| لِأَنَّهُ يَقُومُ عَنْ يَمِينِ ٱلْمَسْكِينِ، لِيُخَلِّصَهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَاضِينَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ. | ٣١ |
