< Psalms 107 >

1 O give thanks to the LORD, for [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
Monna Awurade ase na ɔyɛ; na nʼadɔeɛ wɔ hɔ daa.
2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say [so], whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
Momma wɔn a Awurade agye wɔn nka saa, wɔn a wagye wɔn afiri ɔtamfoɔ nsam no,
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
wɔn a ɔboaboaa wɔn ano firii nsase soɔ no, ɛfiri apueeɛ kɔsi atɔeɛ, atifi kɔsi anafoɔ.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
Ebinom kyinkyinii wɔ nsase paradada so, a wɔanhunu ɛkwan ankɔ kuropɔn no mu, baabi a wɔbɛtumi anya atenaeɛ.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
Ɛkɔm ne sukɔm dee wɔn na wɔtotɔɔ baha.
6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses.
Afei wɔsu frɛɛ Awurade wɔ wɔn amanehunu mu, na ɔgyee wɔn firii wɔn ahohiahia mu.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
Ɔde wɔn faa ɛkwan tee so baa kuropɔn a wɔtumi tena mu no mu.
8 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔeɛ a ɛnsa da ho ne nʼanwanwadeɛ a ɔyɛ ma nnipa.
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
Ɔma wɔn a sukɔm de wɔn nsuo na ɔde nnepa hyɛ wɔn a ɛkɔm de wɔn ma.
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shades of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron;
Ebinom tenaa esum ne awerɛhoɔ mu, nneduafoɔ a wɔde dadeɛ nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn agu wɔn,
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High:
ɛfiri sɛ, wɔtee Onyankopɔn nsɛm ho atua na wɔbuu Ɔsorosoroni no agyinatuo animtiaa.
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and [there was] none to help.
Enti ɔgyaa wɔn maa adwuma den; wɔsuntisuntiiɛ na wɔannya ɔboafoɔ.
13 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses.
Afei, wɔsu frɛɛ Awurade wɔ wɔn amanehunu mu, na ɔgyee wɔn firii wɔn ahohiahia mu.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shades of death, and broke their bands asunder.
Ɔyii wɔn firii esum ne awerɛhoɔ mu na ɔbubuu wɔn nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn mu.
15 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔeɛ a ɛnsa da ho ne nʼanwanwadeɛ a ɔyɛ ma nnipa.
16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron asunder.
Ɔbubu kɔbere mfrafraeɛ apono na ɔtwitwa nnadeban mu.
17 Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
Ebinom bɛyɛɛ nkwaseafoɔ, wɔn atuateɛ enti na wɔhunuu amane, wɔn nnebɔne enti.
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; and they draw near to the gates of death.
Wɔkyirii aduane nyinaa na wɔtwe bɛnee owuo ɛpono ano.
19 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, he saveth them out of their distresses.
Afei, wɔsu frɛɛ Awurade, wɔn amanehunu mu na ɔgyee wɔn firii wɔn ahohiahia mu.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions.
Ɔsomaa nʼasɛm na ɔsaa wɔn yadeɛ; na ɔgyee wɔn firii ɛda mu.
21 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔeɛ a ɛnsa da ho ne nʼanwanwadeɛ a ɔyɛ ma nnipa.
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
Momma wɔmmɔ aseda afɔdeɛ na wɔmfa ahurisie nnwom nka ne nnwuma ho asɛm.
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business on great waters;
Ebinom tenaa ahyɛn mu wɔ ɛpo so; wɔyɛ adwadifoɔ wɔ nsuo akɛseɛ so.
24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
Wɔhunuu Awurade nnwuma, nʼanwanwadeɛ a ɛwɔ ebunu mu.
25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up its waves.
Ɔkasaeɛ maa ahum tui na ɛkukuruu asorɔkye.
26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
Wɔpagya kɔɔ sorosoro na wɔsiane kɔɔ ebunu mu tɔnn; wɔn amanehunu mu no wɔn bo tui.
27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.
Wɔkyim totɔɔ ntintan sɛ asabofoɔ; na wɔnhunu deɛ wɔnnyɛ bio.
28 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
Afei, wɔsu frɛɛ Awurade, wɔn amanehunu mu, na ɔgyee wɔn firii wɔn ahohiahia mu.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves [of the sea] are still.
Ɔmaa ahum no yɛɛ dinn; ɛpo so asorɔkye ano brɛɛ ase.
30 Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he bringeth them to their desired haven.
Wɔn ani gyeeɛ ɛberɛ a ɛyɛɛ dinn no, na ɔkyerɛɛ wɔn ɛkwan de wɔn kɔduruu gyinabea a wɔpɛ.
31 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
Momma wɔnna Awurade ase, nʼadɔeɛ a ɛnsa da ho ne nʼanwanwadeɛ a ɔyɛ ma nnipa.
32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
Wɔmma ne so wɔ asafo no mu na wɔnkamfo no wɔ mpanimfoɔ nhyiamu ase.
33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the water-springs into dry ground;
Ɔdanee nsubɔntene maa no yɛɛ ɛserɛ, asutene yɛɛ asase wesee,
34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell in it.
na asasebereɛ danee nkyenenkyene, wɔn a wɔte asase no so amumuyɛ enti.
35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into water-springs.
Ɔdanee ɛserɛ so maa no yɛɛ nsuwansuwa na nkyɛkyerɛ yɛɛ sɛ asutene ananmu;
36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
Ɛhɔ na ɔde wɔn a ɛkɔm de wɔn kɔsoɛe, na wɔkyekyeree kuropɔn tenaa mu.
37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
Wɔyɛɛ mfuo ne bobe nturo na ɛmaa wɔn nnɔbaeɛ bebree.
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
Ɔhyiraa wɔn na wɔn ase dɔreeɛ. Wamma wɔn ayɛmmoa dodoɔ so anhwan.
39 Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
Afei wɔn dodoɔ so hwaneeɛ na nhyɛsoɔ, amanehunu ne awerɛhoɔ brɛɛ wɔn ase;
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, [where there is] no way.
deɛ ɔbu aberempɔn animtiaa no ma wɔkyinkyinii asase bonini a ɛkwan nni hɔ so.
41 Yet he setteth the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
Nanso, ɔpagyaa ahiafoɔ firii wɔn ahohia mu na ɔmaa wɔn mmusua dɔree sɛ nnwankuo.
42 The righteous shall see [it], and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
Ateneneefoɔ bɛhunu ama wɔn ani gye, nanso amumuyɛfoɔ nyinaa bɛmua wɔn ano.
43 Whoever [is] wise, and will observe these [things], even they shall understand the loving-kindness of the LORD.
Momma deɛ ɔyɛ onyansafoɔ no mmu yeinom, na ɔnnwene Awurade adɔeɛ kɛseɛ no ho.
