Psalms 107
1 O give thanks to the LORD, for [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਹੈ!
2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say [so], whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਛੁਡਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਇਹ ਆਖਣ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
੩ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ ਦਸੰਤਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪੂਰਬ, ਪੱਛਮ, ਉੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲੋਂ।
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
੪ਓਹ ਥਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਵਾਰਾ ਫਿਰੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਾ।
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
੫ਓਹ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਤੇ ਤਿਹਾਏ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਢਾਲ ਸਨ।
6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses.
੬ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ।
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
੭ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਰਾਹ ਪਾਇਆ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣ।
8 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
੮ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
੯ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਤਰਸਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਰਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਭੁੱਖੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shades of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron;
੧੦ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਕੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ,
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High:
੧੧ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਿਆ,
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and [there was] none to help.
੧੨ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਖੇਚਲ ਨਾਲ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਓਹ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਨੂੰ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ,
13 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses.
੧੩ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ।
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shades of death, and broke their bands asunder.
੧੪ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਹੇਠੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਦ ਤੋੜ ਸੁੱਟੇ।
15 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
੧੫ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ!
16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron asunder.
੧੬ਉਹ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟੇ, ਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਅਰਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਟੇ-ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
17 Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
੧੭ਮੂਰਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੁਚਲਣ ਤੇ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗਦੇ ਹਨ,
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; and they draw near to the gates of death.
੧੮ਸਭ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਰਸ਼ਾਦਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਅ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹਨ।
19 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, he saveth them out of their distresses.
੧੯ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions.
੨੦ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਚਨ ਭੇਜ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
21 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
੨੧ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ!
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
੨੨ਓਹ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਚੜਾਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੱਸਣ।
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business on great waters;
੨੩ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜ਼ਹਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਬੁਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
੨੪ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘਿਆਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up its waves.
੨੫ਉਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਤੂਫਾਨ ਵਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਠਾਠਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
੨੬ਓਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੱਕ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਓਹ ਡੂੰਘਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਣ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਅ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਢੱਲ਼ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.
੨੭ਓਹ ਝੂਲਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਡਿੱਗਦੇ-ਢਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਮੱਤ ਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
28 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
੨੮ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves [of the sea] are still.
੨੯ਓਹ ਤੂਫਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਥੰਮਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
30 Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he bringeth them to their desired haven.
੩੦ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਮੰਗੇ ਘਾਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
31 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
੩੧ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਦਮ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ!
32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
੩੨ਓਹ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਵਡਿਆਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੈਠਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ।
33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the water-springs into dry ground;
੩੩ਉਹ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾੜ, ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੜੀ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell in it.
੩੪ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਉਹ ਫਲਵੰਤ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਲਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into water-springs.
੩੫ਉਹ ਉਜਾੜ ਨੂੰ ਝੀਲ, ਅਤੇ ਸੜੀ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਸੋਤਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
੩੬ਅਤੇ ਭੁੱਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਵਸਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਵੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰਨ,
37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
੩੭ਅਤੇ ਪੈਲੀਆਂ ਬੀਜਣ ਤੇ ਦਾਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ਼ ਲਾਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਲੈਣ।
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
੩੮ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਵਧ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਡੰਗਰ ਘਟਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ।
39 Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
੩੯ਫੇਰ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਜ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ, ਓਹ ਘੱਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, [where there is] no way.
੪੦ਉਹ ਪਤਵੰਤਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੂਗ ਡੋਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਰਾਹ ਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੁਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
41 Yet he setteth the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
੪੧ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਬਿਠਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਟੱਬਰ ਇੱਜੜ ਜਿਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
42 The righteous shall see [it], and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
੪੨ਸਿੱਧੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੰਦ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
43 Whoever [is] wise, and will observe these [things], even they shall understand the loving-kindness of the LORD.
੪੩ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਾਵੇਗਾ।
