Psalms 107
1 O give thanks to the LORD, for [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
೧ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say [so], whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
೨ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಿಮುಕ್ತರು ಅಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ,
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
೩ಪೂರ್ವ, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ, ಉತ್ತರ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಲಿ.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
೪ಅವರು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮರಳುಗಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿ ಅಲೆಯುವವರಾಗಿ, ಜನವಿರುವ ಊರನ್ನು ಕಾಣದೆ,
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
೫ಹಸಿವೆ, ನೀರಡಿಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಲಗುಂದಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses.
೬ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
೭ಜನವಿರುವ ಊರನ್ನು ಸೇರುವಂತೆ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದನು.
8 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
೮ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃಪೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಆತನು ಮಾನವರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
೯ಆತನು ಬಾಯಾರಿದವರ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿ, ಹಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನದಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shades of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron;
೧೦ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಘೋರಾಂಧಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬೇಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ನೋವಿನಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High:
೧೧ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು, ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ,
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and [there was] none to help.
೧೨ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿದನು; ನಿರಾಶ್ರಯರಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋದರು.
13 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses.
೧೩ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shades of death, and broke their bands asunder.
೧೪ಆತನು ಅವರ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ, ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಘೋರಾಂಧಕಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರತಂದನು.
15 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
೧೫ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃಪೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಆತನು ಮಾನವರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron asunder.
೧೬ಆತನು ತಾಮ್ರದ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಅಗುಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
17 Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
೧೭ಮೂರ್ಖರು ಅಪರಾಧ, ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಬಾಧೆಗೊಳಗಾದರು.
18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; and they draw near to the gates of death.
೧೮ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಮರಣದ್ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮೀಪವಾದರು.
19 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, he saveth them out of their distresses.
೧೯ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions.
೨೦ಆತನು ದೂತನನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
21 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
೨೧ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃಪೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಆತನು ಮಾನವರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
೨೨ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆತನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಲಿ.
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business on great waters;
೨೩ಹಡಗು ಹತ್ತಿ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಮಹಾಜಲರಾಶಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರು,
24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
೨೪ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಗಾಧಜಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up its waves.
೨೫ಆತನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಲು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯುಂಟಾಗಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತೆರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿತು.
26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
೨೬ಜನರು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಏರುತ್ತಲೂ, ಅಗಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು ಕರಗಿಹೋದರು.
27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end.
೨೭ಅವರು ದಿಕ್ಕುತೋರದವರಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತಾ, ಕುಡುಕರಂತೆ ಹೊಯ್ದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
28 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
೨೮ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ಹೊರತಂದನು.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves [of the sea] are still.
೨೯ಆತನು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಶಾಂತಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ತೆರೆಗಳು ನಿಂತವು.
30 Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he bringeth them to their desired haven.
೩೦ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಶಾಂತವಾದುದರಿಂದ, ಹಡಗಿನವರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು, ಅವರು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಕಾದ ರೇವಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದನು.
31 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
೩೧ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃಪೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಆತನು ಮಾನವರಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
೩೨ನೆರೆದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಲಿ; ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಲಿ.
33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the water-springs into dry ground;
೩೩ಆತನು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ದುಷ್ಟತನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ,
34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell in it.
೩೪ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಣನೆಲವಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಫಲಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಉಪ್ಪು ನೆಲವಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into water-springs.
೩೫ಅರಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೆರೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಒಣನೆಲವನ್ನು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿ,
36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
೩೬ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿದವರನ್ನು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು; ಅವರು ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸಲು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು,
37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
೩೭ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು, ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
೩೮ಆತನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ದನಕರುಗಳೇನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
39 Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
೩೯ಅವರು ಕೇಡು ತೊಂದರೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದಲೂ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರಾದರು.
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, [where there is] no way.
೪೦ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪಮಾನವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ದಾರಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡಿಸುವವನು.
41 Yet he setteth the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
೪೧ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ದೀನರನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ಏರಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿಹಿಂಡಿನಂತೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದನು.
42 The righteous shall see [it], and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
೪೨ಯಥಾರ್ಥರು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವರು; ಕೆಡುಕುಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹೋಗುವುದು.
43 Whoever [is] wise, and will observe these [things], even they shall understand the loving-kindness of the LORD.
೪೩ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃಪಾಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
