Psalms 10
1 Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? [why] hidest thou [thyself] in times of trouble?
१हे परमेश्वरा, तू दूर का उभा आहेस? संकटकाळी तू स्वत: ला का लपवतोस?
2 The wicked in [his] pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
२कारण दुष्ट आपल्या गर्विष्ठपणामुळे पीडलेल्यांचा पाठलाग करतो, परंतु कृपया असे होवो की दुष्टांनी जे संकल्प योजिले आहेत, त्यामध्ये ते सापडो.
3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, [whom] the LORD abhorreth.
३कारण दुष्ट आपल्या हृदयाच्या इच्छेचा अभिमान बाळगतो; दुष्ट लोभी व्यक्तीस धन्य म्हणतो व परमेश्वरास तुच्छ मानतो आणि नाकारतो.
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek [after God]: God [is] not in all his thoughts.
४दुष्ट मनुष्य गर्विष्ठ असतो, ह्यास्तव तो देवाला शोधत नाही. कारण देवाबद्दल त्यास काही काळजी नाही, म्हणून तो देवाचा विचार करत नाही.
5 His ways are always grievous; thy judgments [are] far above out of his sight: [as for] all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
५त्याचे मार्ग उन्नतीचे असतात, परंतु तुझे धार्मिक नियम त्याच्या आवाक्याबाहेरचे आहेत, तो आपल्या सर्व शत्रूंवर फुत्कारतो.
6 He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for [I shall] never [be] in adversity.
६तो आपल्या हृदयात असे म्हणतो, मी कधीच चुकणार नाही; संपूर्ण पिढ्यांत माझ्यावर आपत्ती येणारच नाही.
7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue [is] mischief and vanity.
७त्याचे मुख शाप, कपट, जुलूम, हानिकारक शब्दांनी भरलेले आहेत. त्यांची जीभ जखमी व नाश करते.
8 He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
८तो गावाजवळ टपून बसतो, गुप्त ठिकाणात तो निर्दोष्याला ठार मारतो; त्याचे डोळे लाचारावर टपून असतात.
9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
९जसा सिंह गर्द झाडात लपतो, तसाच तो दडून बसतो. तो दीनाला धरायला टपून बसतो. तो दीनाला आपल्या जाळ्यात ओढून धरून घेतो.
10 He croucheth, [and] humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
१०त्याचे बळी पडणारे ठेचले आणि झोडले जातात. ते त्याच्या बळकट जाळ्यात पडतात.
11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see [it].
११तो आपल्या हृदयात असे बोलतो, देव आपल्याला विसरला आहे, त्याने आपले मुख झाकले आहे, तो पाहण्याचा त्रास करून घेणार नाही.
12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thy hand: forget not the humble.
१२हे परमेश्वरा, देवा, ऊठ! तू आपला हात न्यायासाठी चालव. गरीबांना विसरु नकोस.
13 Why doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it].
१३दुष्ट देवाला तुच्छ का मानतो? तो मला जबाबदार धरणार नाही, असे तो मनात का म्हणतो?
14 Thou hast seen [it]; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite [it] with thy hand: the poor committeth himself to thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
१४तू ते पाहिले आहे, कारण तू आपल्या हाती ते घ्यावे म्हणून तू उपद्रव आणि दु: ख पाहतो, लाचार तुला आपणास सोपवून देतो, तू अनाथांचा वाचवणारा आहे.
15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil [man]: seek out his wickedness [till] thou shalt find none.
१५दुष्ट आणि वाईट मनुष्याचा भुज तोडून टाक, त्याच्या वाईट कृत्यांबद्दल त्यास जबाबदार धर, ज्याने असा विचार केला होता की तू ते शोधणार नाही.
16 The LORD [is] King for ever and ever: the heathen have perished out of his land.
१६परमेश्वर सदासर्वकाळ राजा आहे, राष्ट्रे त्याच्या भूमीतून बाहेर घालवली आहेत.
17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thy ear to hear:
१७हे परमेश्वरा, पीडितांचे तू ऐकले आहे; तू त्यांचे हृदय सामर्थ्यवान केले आहे, तू त्यांची प्रार्थना ऐकली आहे.
18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
१८पोरके आणि पीडलेले यांचे तू रक्षण केले आहे, म्हणजे मनुष्य पृथ्वीवर आणखी भयाचे कारण होऊ नये.
