Proverbs 6
1 My son, if thou art surety for thy friend, [if] thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,
| ڕۆڵە، ئەگەر بووی بە کەفیلی دراوسێکەت، ئەگەر لەگەڵ بێگانەیەک تەوقەت کرد، |
2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
| ئەگەر بە داوی قسەکانی دەمتەوە بوویت، بە قسەی دەمی خۆت پێوە بوویت، |
3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.
| ڕۆڵە، ئەمە بکە و فریای خۆت بکەوە، چونکە ژێردەستەی دراوسێکەت بوویت، بڕۆ، خۆت نزم بکەرەوە و لە هاوڕێکەت بپاڕێوە. |
4 Give not sleep to thy eyes, nor slumber to thy eyelids.
| خەو مەدە چاوەکانت و پێڵووەکانت خەواڵوو نەبن. |
5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand [of the hunter], and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
| وەک مامز خۆت لە دەست ڕاوچی دەرباز بکە، وەک چۆلەکە لە تەڵەی ڕاوچی. |
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
| ئەی تەمبەڵ، بڕۆ لای مێروولە، بڕوانە ڕێگاکانی و ببە بە دانا. |
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
| بێ ئەوەی پێشەوا و کوێخا و فەرمانڕەوای هەبێت، |
8 Provideth her provisions in the summer, [and] gathereth her food in the harvest.
| بەڵام لە هاویندا نانی خۆی ئەمبار دەکات و لە کاتی دروێنەدا خۆراکی خۆی کۆدەکاتەوە. |
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
| ئەی تەمبەڵ، هەتا کەی پاڵدەدەیتەوە؟ کەی لە خەوەکەت هەڵدەستی؟ |
10 [Yet] a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
| کەمێک خەوتن، کەمێک خەواڵووبوون، کەمێکیش دەست تێکنان بۆ ڕاکشان، |
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that traveleth, and thy want as an armed man.
| ئینجا هەژاریت وەک چەتە دێت، نەبوونیشت وەک چەکدار. |
12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
| کەسی هیچوپووچ، پیاوی چەواشەکار، بە زمان خواری ڕەفتار دەکات، |
13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
| چاوی دەقوچێنێت و بەپێی ئاماژە دەکات و بە پەنجە دەریدەبڕێت، |
14 Frowardness [is] in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
| فێڵ لە دڵیدایە، خراپە دادەهێنێت، هەموو کاتێک ناکۆکی دەوروژێنێت. |
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
| لەبەر ئەوە لەپڕ لێی دەقەومێت، لەناکاو دەشکێت و چارەسەری نییە. |
16 These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yes, seven [are] an abomination to him:
| شەش شت هەن یەزدان ڕقی لێیانە، حەوتیش قێزەونە لەلای: |
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.
| چاوی بەفیز، زمانی درۆزن، دەستێک کە خوێنی بێتاوانی ڕشتبێت، |
18 A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief,
| دڵێک پیلانی خراپ دابهێنێت، پێیەک بە پەلە بەرەو خراپەکاری ڕابکات، |
19 A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren.
| شایەتی درۆزن درۆ بڵاو بکاتەوە و وروژێنەری ناکۆکی نێوان برایان. |
20 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
| ڕۆڵە، ڕاسپاردەکانی باوکت بەجێبگەیەنە و فێرکردنەکانی دایکت پشتگوێ مەخە. |
21 Bind them continually upon thy heart, [and] tie them about thy neck.
| هەمیشە بە دڵتەوە گرێیان بدە و بە گەردنی خۆتەوە هەڵیانواسە. |
22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and [when] thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
| لە هاتوچۆکردنتدا ڕێنماییت دەکەن، لە ڕاکشانت چاودێریت دەکەن و کە خەبەریشت بووەوە دەتدوێنن، |
23 For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the law [is] light; and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life:
| چونکە ئەم ڕاسپاردانە چران و ئەم فێرکردنەش ڕووناکییە، سەرزەنشتی تەمبێکردنیش ڕێگای ژیانە، |
24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.
| بۆ ئەوەی لە ژنی بەدڕەوشت بتپارێزێت، لە زمانلووسی داوێنپیس. |
25 Lust not after her beauty in thy heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
| لە دڵەوە ئارەزووی جوانییەکەی مەکە، با بە برژانگەکانی نەتبات، |
26 For by means of a lewd woman [a man is brought] to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
| چونکە ژنی لەشفرۆش وا دەکات پێویستیت بە نانێک بێت، بەڵام ژنی بەمێرد گیانی گرانبەهات ڕاودەکات. |
27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
| ئایا کەس دەتوانێت ئاگر لە باوەش بگرێت و جلەکانی نەسووتێت؟ |
28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
| یان بەسەر پشکۆدا بڕوات و پێیەکانی داغ نەبێت؟ |
29 So he that goeth in to his neighbor's wife; whoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.
| ئاوایە ئەوەی بچێتە لای ژنی کەسێکی دیکە، هەرکەسێک دەستی لێ بدات بێ سزا نابێت. |
30 [Men] do not despise a thief, if he stealeth to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
| سووکایەتی بە دز ناکرێت کە دزی دەکات بۆ خۆتێرکردن کاتێک کە برسییە. |
31 But [if] he is found, he shall restore seven-fold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
| هەرچەندە کە لێی ئاشکرا بوو دەبێت حەوت قات بداتەوە، ئەگەر هەموو ماڵی خۆشی لەسەر دانابێت. |
32 [But] whoever committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he [that] doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
| بەڵام ئەوەی داوێنپیسی لەگەڵ ژنێک بکات تێنەگەیشتووە، هەرکەسێک وا بکات خۆی دەفەوتێنێت. |
33 A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
| تووشی لێدان و سەرشۆڕی دەبێت و شەرمەزارییەکەی ناسڕێتەوە، |
34 For jealousy [is] the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
| چونکە ئیرەیی پیاو دەوروژێنێت، لە ڕۆژی تۆڵەدا دەست ناگێڕێتەوە، |
35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.
| چاوی لە هیچ قەرەبووێک نییە، بە دیاری ڕازی نابێت، ئەگەر بۆشی زیاد بکەیت. |
