Proverbs 29
1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth [his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
১যি মানুহে বাৰে বাৰে অনুযোগ পায়ো নিজৰ ডিঙি ঠৰ কৰে, সুস্থ হ’ব নোৱাৰাকৈ তেওঁ হঠাতে ভগ্ন হ’ব।
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
২সৎ কাৰ্য কৰা লোক যেতিয়া বৃদ্ধি পায়, তেতিয়া লোকসকল আনন্দ কৰে। কিন্তু যেতিয়া এজন দুষ্টলোক শাসনকৰ্ত্তা হয়, তেতিয়া লোকসকল বিৰক্তি পায়।
3 He that loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth [his] substance.
৩যি জনে প্ৰজ্ঞাক ভাল পায়, সেই জনে নিজৰ পিতৃক আনন্দিত কৰে; কিন্তু যি কোনোৱে বেশ্যাসকলৰ সৈতে সঙ্গী হয়, তেওঁ নিজৰ ধন-সম্পত্তি অপব্যয় কৰে।
4 The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
৪ৰজাই ন্যায় বিচাৰ কৰাৰ দ্বাৰাই দেশ প্রতিষ্ঠা কৰে; কিন্তু যিজনে উপহাৰ দাবী কৰে, সেই জনে দেশ নষ্ট কৰে।
5 A man that flattereth his neighbor spreadeth a net for his feet.
৫যি মানুহে নিজৰ চুবুৰীয়াক তোষামোদ কৰে, তেওঁ নিজৰ ভৰিলৈ জাল পাতে।
6 In the transgression of an evil man [there is] a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
৬দুষ্ট লোক নিজৰ পাপৰ দ্বাৰাই ফান্দত পৰে; কিন্তু সৎ কাৰ্য কৰে, সেই জনে হৰ্ষিত মনেৰে গীত গায়।
7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: [but] the wicked regardeth not to know [it].
৭ন্যায় কাৰ্য কৰা লোকে দৰিদ্র লোকৰ হৈ ওকালতি কৰে; কিন্তু দুষ্ট লোকে সেই জ্ঞানৰ কথা বুজি নাপায়।
8 Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise [men] turn away wrath.
৮নিন্দক লোকে নগৰত জুই জ্বলাই; কিন্তু যি সকল জ্ঞানী, তেওঁলোকে ক্ৰোধৰ পৰা আঁতৰি থাকে।
9 [If] a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rageth or laugheth, [there is] no rest.
৯যেতিয়া অজ্ঞানী লোকৰ লগত জ্ঞানী লোকৰ বিবাদ হয়, তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক্রোধিত হৈ হাঁহে, আৰু কোনো শান্তি লাভ নকৰে।
10 The blood-thirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
১০নিৰ্দ্দোষী লোকক ৰক্তপাতকাৰী সকলে ঘিণ কৰে; কিন্তু সৰল লোকসকলৰ প্রাণ বিচাৰি ফুৰে।
11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise [man] keepeth it in till afterwards.
১১অজ্ঞানী লোকে নিজৰ মনৰ সকলো ভাব প্ৰকাশ কৰে; কিন্তু জ্ঞানী লোকে নিজৰ মনৰ ভাব দমন কৰি শান্ত হৈ থাকে।
12 If a ruler hearkeneth to lies, all his servants [are] wicked.
১২যি শাসনকৰ্ত্তাই মিছা কথালৈ মনোযোগ দিয়ে, তেওঁৰ সকলো কৰ্মচাৰী দুষ্ট প্রকৃতিৰ হয়।
13 The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD enlighteneth both their eyes.
১৩দৰিদ্ৰ আৰু অত্যাচাৰী লোক দুয়ো একেলগ হয়; আৰু যিহোৱাই দুয়ো জনৰ চকুত পোহৰ দিয়ে।
14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
১৪যদি ৰজাই সত্যতাৰে দৰিদ্ৰ লোকৰ বিচাৰ কৰে, তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ সিংহাসন চিৰকালৰ বাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left [to himself] bringeth his mother to shame.
১৫চেকনী আৰু দোষাৰোপে প্ৰজ্ঞা দিয়ে; কিন্তু শাসন নকৰা সন্তানে নিজৰ মাতৃক লাজ দিয়ে।
16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
১৬যেতিয়া দুষ্টলোক বৃদ্ধি হয়, তেতিয়া অপৰাধো বৃদ্ধি হয়; কিন্তু যি সকলে ন্যায় কাৰ্য কৰে, তেওঁলোকে তেওঁলোকৰ পতন দেখা পাই।
17 Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yes, he shall give delight to thy soul.
১৭তোমাৰ সন্তানক অনুশাসন কৰা; তাতে তেওঁ তোমাক শান্তি দিব, আৰু তোমাৰ প্ৰাণক আনন্দিত কৰিব।
18 Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.
১৮যি ঠাইত ভবিষ্য দৰ্শনৰ অভাৱ থাকে, তাত লোকসকল অবাধ্য হয়; কিন্তু যিজনে বিধান পালন কৰে, সেই জন সুখী হয়।
19 A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understandeth, he will not answer.
১৯কথাৰ দ্বাৰাই দাসক শুধৰাব নোৱাৰি; যদিও তেওঁ বুজি পায়, তথাপিও তেওঁ প্রতিক্রিয়া নকৰে।
20 Seest thou a man [that is] hasty in his words? [there is] more hope of a fool than of him.
২০দ্রুতগতিত কথা কোৱা লোকক চোৱা; তেওঁতকৈ অজ্ঞানী লোকৰ অধিক আশা আছে।
21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him at length become [his] son.
২১যি জনে নিজৰ দাসক যৌৱন কালৰে পৰা প্রশ্রয় দিয়ে, ইয়াৰ কাৰণে সেই দাসে শেষত সমস্যাত পেলায়।
22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
২২ক্রোধি লোকে বিবাদ সৃষ্টি কৰে, আৰু ক্ৰোধেৰে পৰিচালিত লোকে অধিক পাপ কৰে।
23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.
২৩মানুহৰ অহঙ্কাৰে তেওঁক নত কৰায়; কিন্তু যিজনৰ নম্ৰ গুণ থাকে, তেওঁক সন্মান দিয়া হ’ব।
24 Whoever is partner with a thief, hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and discloseth [it] not.
২৪যি জনে চোৰৰ সৈতে অংশীদাৰ হয়, সেই জনে নিজৰ প্ৰাণক ঘিণ কৰে; শাও দিয়া শুনিও তেওঁ একো নকয়।
25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but he who putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
২৫মানুহৰ ভয়েই তেওঁলৈ বিপদ আনে; কিন্তু যিজনে যিহোৱাত ভাৰসা কৰে, সেই জন নিৰাপদে থাকে।
26 Many seek the ruler's favor; but [every] man's judgment [cometh] from the LORD.
২৬অনেক লোকে শাসনকৰ্ত্তাৰ অনুগ্ৰহ বিচাৰে; কিন্তু তেওঁৰ বাবে যিহোৱাৰ পৰাহে ন্যায় আহে।
27 An unjust man [is] an abomination to the just: and [he that is] upright in the way [is] abomination to the wicked.
২৭অন্যায়কাৰী মানুহ ন্যায় কৰা লোকসকলৰ বাবে ঘৃণনীয়; কিন্তু ন্যায়পৰায়ণ লোকৰ পথ দুষ্ট লোকৰ বাবে ঘৃণনীয়।
