< Proverbs 20 >
1 Wine [is] a mocker, strong drink [is] raging: and whoever is deceived by it is not wise.
Waini tima nenea vahe'mofona azeri neginagi higeno, vahe'ma huhaviza hu kea nehigeno, aka timo'a vahe'mofona azeri negi nenkeno ke huhaviza nehuno hara hugahie. Waini ti neno neginagi hu vahe'mofona, agripina ama' antahi'zana omanegahie.
2 The fear of a king [is] as the roaring of a lion: [whoever] provoketh him to anger sinneth [against] his own soul.
Kinimofo arimpa akahe zamo'a, laionimo rankrafa hiankna hu'ne. Kini vahe'mofo azeri arimpa ahe'simofona, ahe frigahie.
3 [It is] an honor for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
Haframa hu'zanku'ma mani kore huno agatere'zamo'a, ra agi erigahie. Hianagi neginagi vahe'mo'za ame hu'za hafra nehaze.
4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; [therefore] shall he beg in harvest, and [have] nothing.
Feru vahe'mo'ma hozama ante knare'ma mopama rekorino hozama ontesuno'a, hozama hamare knarera ne'zana ohamaregahie.
5 Counsel in the heart of man [is like] deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.
Vahe'mofo antahi'zamo'a tirukna huno me'neanagi, ama' antahi'zane vahe'mo'a ana tirupintira ana antahi'zana afi anaga netre.
6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
Rama'a vahe'mo'za, tavesi negantone hugahazanagi, mago mago vahe'mo'za tamage hu'za kavesigantegahaze.
7 The just [man] walketh in his integrity: his children [are] blessed after him.
Fatgo avu'ava'ene ne'mo'a, mani fatgo huno nemanie. Agri mofavre zagamo'za, asomu erigahaze.
8 A king that sitteth on the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.

9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
Nagu'amo'a fatgo higena, nagra agru hu'noankino nagripina kumira omane'ne huno iza hugahie?
10 Divers weights, [and] divers measures, both of them [are] alike abomination to the LORD.
Havige hu'za maka'zama refko hu'za kna'ama ke'zane, havige hu'za avamente refkoma osu'zanena Ra Anumzamo'a avesra huno agote'nezmante.
11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work [is] pure, and whether [it is] right.
Mofavremofona avu'avate negenka, agri avu'avamo'a agru hu'neanki, fatgo mofavre mani'neanki hugahane.
12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.
Tagesama me'neana keaga antahi'zane, tavuragama me'neana tavuma ke'za me'neankino, tarega'zana Ra Anumzamo museza tami'ne.
13 Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thy eyes, [and] thou shalt be satisfied with bread.

14 [It is] naught, [it is] naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone, then he boasteth.
Knare osu'ne! Knare osune! Huno mago'a zama mizama seku'ma himo'a nehie. Hianagi mizaseno kantegama nevuno'a, ana zankura knare'za erue huno rama'a musenke hume nevie.
15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge [are] a precious jewel.
Antahi'zama ami kemo'a, goline zago'amo'ma marerisa havea agetere'ne.
16 Take his garment that is surety [for] a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
Onke'nenana vahe'mo'ma nofi'ma nehinkeno magomo apasegahue hanigenka, anamofo anakreku'a huvame hunka eri'negeno, ana nofi'ma hu'neazana eme apaseno. Savri a'mo'ma nofi'ma hanigeno'ma mago'mo apasegahuema hanigenka, aza hu'na apasentegahue huno kaminia zana erio.
17 Bread of deceit [is] sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

18 [Every] purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

19 He that goeth about [as] a tale-bearer revealeth secrets; therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.

20 Whoever curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.

21 An inheritance [may be] gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end of it shall not be blessed.
Arera afama ofri mani'nesigeno'ma erisinti haregahanema hu'nesia zama ame'ama huno erisia mofavremo'a, atuparega asimu'a omanegosie.
22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; [but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
Kefo avu'ava'ma hugante'sagenka anahukna hu'na nona huzamantegahue osuo. Hagi avega antenegeno Ra Anumzamo kaza huno ana knazana erino.
23 Divers weights [are] an abomination to the LORD; and a false balance [is] not good.
Mago'azama mizaseku'ma hanigeno kna'ama refako huno kezama (skel) erinteno refako hu so'e osu avu'ava zana, Ra Anumzamo'a avesra huno agonete.
24 Man's goings [are] of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?
Vahe'mo'ma mika zama hiazana, Ra Anumzamoke azeri ante fatgo nehie. Inankna huno mago'a vahe'mo'a agra'ma nehia zana keno antahino hugahie?
25 [It is] a snare to the man [who] devoureth [that which is] holy, and after vows to make inquiry.
Kagesa antahi ankeretenka Anumzamofontera huvempa huo. Ame'ama hunka huvempama hutesunka, henka'a anama hu'nesana kegu kagesa antahintahi nehunka kagraka'a kazeri haviza hugahane.
26 A wise king scatterreth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.
Ama' antahi'zane kini ne'mo'a kefo zamavu'zamava nehaza vahera witi hona'a hareno eriherahe hianka huno rezaganeno ke ama huteno, henka knanentake havenu witi'a refuzafupeankna huno knazana zamigahie.
27 The spirit of man [is] the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
Ra Anumzamofo lampe tavi'mo'a, vahe'mofo kantu agu'afi ufreno mika kefo agu'agesama me'neana hakeno eri ama nehie.
28 Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upheld by mercy.
Kini ne'mo'ma vahe'mokizmima avesi nezamanteno knare avu'ava huzamantesiana, agra knare huno mani'neno, za'za kna kva eri'zantera manino vugahie.
29 The glory of young men [is] their strength: and the beauty of old men [is] the gray head.
Nehazave ramimofona hanave zamimo ra zamagia nezamie. Hianagi ranra vahera efe'zmazoka nege'za vahe'mo'za husga hunezmantaze.
30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so [do] stripes the inward parts of the belly.
Hazenkema hania vahe'ma knokeve'ma ami'zamo, kefo avu'ava zana ahenati netreno, agu'a azeri agru hugahie.
