Proverbs 14
1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
၁ပညာရှိ သောမိန်းမ သည် မိမိ အိမ် ကို တည်ဆောက် တတ်၏။ မိုက် သောမိန်းမမူကား ၊ ကိုယ် လက် နှင့် ဖြိုဖျက် တတ်၏။
2 He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but [he that is] perverse in his ways despiseth him.
၂ဖြောင့် သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက် သောသူသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ တတ်၏။ ကောက်သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက် သောသူမူကား ၊ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုတတ်၏။
3 In the mouth of the foolish [is] a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
၃မိုက် သောသူ၏ နှုတ် ၌ မာန ကြိမ်လုံး ရှိ၏။ ပညာရှိ သောသူ၏ နှုတ်ခမ်း တို့သည် ကယ်တင် သောအမှုကို ပြုတတ်၏။
4 Where no oxen [are], the crib [is] clean: but much increase [is] by the strength of the ox.
၄နွား ထီးမ ရှိသော တင်းကုပ် သည် စင်ကြယ် ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ နွား ခွန်အား ကိုသုံး၍ များ သောစီးပွား ကို ရတတ်၏။
5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
၅သစ္စာ ရှိသောသက်သေ သည်မုသာ မ သုံးတတ်။ သစ္စာ ပျက်သော သက်သေ မူကား ၊ မုသာ ကိုသုံး တတ်၏။
6 A scorner seeketh wisdom, and [findeth it] not: but knowledge [is] easy to him that understandeth.
၆မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူသည် ပညာ ကိုရှာ ၍ မ တွေ့ရာ။ ဉာဏ် ရှိသောသူမူကား ၊ ပညာ အတတ်ကို ရ လွယ်၏။
7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not [in him] the lips of knowledge.
၇မိုက် သောသူနှင့်တွေ့၍ သူ၏နှုတ် ၌ ပညာ အတတ်မ ရှိသည်ကို သိမြင် လျှင် ၊ ထိုသူ ကို ရှောင် သွား လော့။
8 The wisdom of the prudent [is] to understand his way: but the folly of fools [is] deceit.
၈ပညာ သတိရှိသောသူ ၏ပညာ ကား၊ ကိုယ် သွား ရသောလမ်း ကို သိ ခြင်းတည်း။ မိုက် သောသူ၏ မိုက် ခြင်း မူကား ၊ ပရိယာယ် တည်း။
9 Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous [there is] favor.
၉မိုက် သောသူတို့သည် ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို မထီ လေးစားပြုကြ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူတို့ မူကား ၊ တယောက် ကိုတယောက်ကျေးဇူး ပြုကြ၏။
10 The heart knoweth its own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.
၁၀စိတ် နှလုံးသည် မိမိ ဒုက္ခ ကို သိ ၏။ စိတ်နှလုံးရွှင်လန်း ခြင်း အကြောင်းကိုလည်း သူတပါး မ ဆိုင် တတ်။
11 The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
၁၁မ တရားသောသူ၏အိမ် သည် ပြို လဲတတ်၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ ၏တဲ မူကား ၊ ပွင့်လန်း တတ်၏။
12 There is a way which seemeth right to a man, but the end of it [are] the ways of death.
၁၂လူ ထင် သည်အတိုင်း မှန် သောလက္ခဏာ ရှိ သော်လည်း ၊ အဆုံး ၌ သေ ခြင်းသို့ပို့သော လမ်း တမျိုးရှိ၏။
13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth [is] heaviness.
၁၃လူသည် ရယ် စဉ် အခါပင် ၊ ဝမ်းနည်း သောစိတ် သဘောရှိ၏။ ထို ရယ်မောရွှင်လန်း ခြင်းအဆုံး ၌လည်း ညှိုးငယ် ခြင်းရှိတတ်၏။
14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man [shall be satisfied] from himself.
၁၄စိတ် နှလုံးဖေါက်ပြန် သောသူဖြစ်စေ ၊ သူ တော် ကောင်းဖြစ်စေ ၊ မိမိ အကျင့် တို့နှင့်ဝ လိမ့်မည်။
15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
၁၅ဉာဏ် တိမ်သောသူသည် သူတပါး ပြော သမျှ ကို ယုံ တတ်၏။ ပညာ သတိရှိသောသူမူကား ၊ မိမိ သွား ရာ လမ်းကို စေ့စေ့ ကြည့်ရှုတတ်၏။
16 A wise [man] feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
၁၆ပညာရှိ သောသူသည် ကြောက် ၍ ဒုစရိုက် ကို ရှောင် တတ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူမူကား မာန ကြီး၍ ရဲရင့် တတ်၏။
17 [He that is] soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
၁၇စိတ်တို သောသူသည် မိုက် စွာသောအမှုကို ပြု တတ်၏။ မ ကောင်းသောအကြံကို ကြံသောသူ ကိုလည်း သူတပါးမုန်း လိမ့်မည်။
18 The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
၁၈ဉာဏ် တိမ်သောသူသည် မိုက် ခြင်းကို အမွေခံ တတ်၏။ ပညာ သတိရှိသောသူမူကား ၊ သိပ္ပံ သရဖူ ကို ဆောင်းတတ်၏။
19 The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
၁၉လူဆိုး တို့သည် သူ တော်ကောင်းရှေ့ ၌၎င်း ၊ မ တရားသောသူတို့သည် ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ၏ အိမ် တံခါးဝ ၌ ၎င်း ဦးချ တတ်ကြ၏။
20 The poor is hated even by his own neighbor: but the rich [hath] many friends.
၂၀ဆင်းရဲ သောသူသည် မိမိ အိမ်နီးချင်း မုန်း ခြင်း ကိုပင် ခံရမည်။ ငွေ ရတတ်သောသူ၌မူကား ၊ များစွာ သော အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်းရှိလိမ့်မည်။
21 He that despiseth his neighbor sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy [is] he.
၂၁မိမိ အိမ်နီးချင်း ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူသည် အပြစ် ရှိ၏။ ဆင်းရဲ သော သူကိုသနား သောသူမူကား ၊ မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏။
22 Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth [shall be] to them that devise good.
၂၂မ ကောင်းသော အကြံကိုကြံ တတ်သောသူတို့ သည် မှားယွင်း ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကျေးဇူး ပြု မည်ဟု ကြံတတ် သောသူတို့မူကား ၊ ကရုဏာ အကျိုး နှင့် သစ္စာ အကျိုးကိုခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။
23 In all labor there is profit: but the talk of the lips [tendeth] only to penury.
၂၃ကြိုးစား ၍ လုပ်လေရာရာ ၌ကျေးဇူး ရှိ ၏။ စကား များခြင်းအကျိုးမူကား ၊ ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းသက်သက် တည်း။
24 The crown of the wise [is] their riches: [but] the foolishness of fools [is] folly.
၂၄ပညာရှိ သောသူတို့၏ စည်းစိမ် ဥစ္စာသည် သူ တို့ ဦးရစ် သရဖူဖြစ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူတို့၏ မိုက် ခြင်းမူကား၊ အမိုက် သက်သက်ဖြစ်၏။
25 A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful [witness] speaketh lies.
၂၅မှန် သောသက်သေ သည် သူ့အသက် ကို ကယ်တင် တတ်၏။ မ မှန်သောသက်သေ မူကား ၊ မုသာ ကို သုံးတတ်၏။
26 In the fear of the LORD [is] strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
၂၆ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်းသည် အားကြီး သော ကိုးစား ရာအခွင့်ကိုဖြစ်စေတတ်၏။ သား တော်တို့ သည်လည်း ၊ ခိုလှုံ ရာအရပ်ကို ရ ကြလိမ့်မည်။
27 The fear of the LORD [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
၂၇ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သောသဘောသည် အသေခံ ရာ ကျော့ကွင်း တို့မှ လွှဲရှောင် ရာအသက် စမ်းရေ တွင်း ဖြစ်၏။
28 In the multitude of people [is] the king's honor: but in the want of people [is] the destruction of the prince.
၂၈ပြည်သား များပြား ရာ၌ ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ဘုန်း တော် တည်၏။ ပြည်သား နည်းပါး ရာ၌ ကား ၊ မင်း အကျိုးနည်း ခြင်းရှိ၏။
29 [He that is] slow to wrath [is] of great understanding: but [he that is] hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
၂၉စိတ် ရှည် သောသူသည် ပညာ ကြီး ၏။ စိတ်တို သောသူမူကား ၊ အထူးသဖြင့်မိုက် ပေ၏။
30 A sound heart [is] the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
၃၀ကျန်းမာ သောနှလုံး သည် ကိုယ် အသက်ရှင် စေ သောအကြောင်း၊ ငြူစူ သော သဘောမူကား ၊ အရိုး ဆွေးမြေ့ ခြင်းအကြောင်းဖြစ်၏။
31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoreth him hath mercy on the poor.
၃၁ဆင်းရဲသား တို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောသူသည် ဖန်ဆင်း တော်မူသောဘုရားကိုကဲ့ရဲ့ ၏။ ဘုရား ကို ရိုသေ သောသူမူကား ၊ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူတို့ကို သနား တတ်၏။
32 The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.
၃၂မ တရားသောသူသည် မ တရားသဖြင့် ပြုစဉ်အခါ ၊ လှဲ ခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူမူကား ၊ သေ သောအခါ၌ ပင် မြော်လင့် စရာရှိ၏။
33 Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but [that which is] in the midst of fools is made known.
၃၃ဉာဏ် ရှိသောသူ၏ နှလုံး ၌ ပညာ ကျိန်းဝပ် တတ် ၏။ မိုက် သောသူတို့၏အထဲ ၌ ရှိသောအရာမူကား ၊ ထင်ရှား တတ်၏။
34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin [is] a reproach to any people.
၃၄ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်းတရားသည် ပြည်သား တို့ကို ချီးမြှောက် တတ်၏။ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်မူကား ၊ ပြည်သား များ တို့ကို ရှုတ်ချ တတ်၏။
35 The king's favor [is] towards a wise servant: but his wrath is [against] him that causeth shame.
၃၅ပညာရှိ သော ကျွန် အား ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ကျေးဇူး ပြုတတ်၏။ အရှက် ခွဲတတ်သော ကျွန်မူကား ၊ အမျက် တော်ကိုခံရ မည်။
