Numbers 18

1 And the LORD said to Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

Και είπε Κύριος προς τον Ααρών, Συ και οι υιοί σου και ο οίκος του πατρός σου μετά σου θέλετε βαστάζει την ανομίαν του αγιαστηρίου· και συ και οι υιοί σου μετά σου θέλετε βαστάζει την ανομίαν της ιερατείας σας.

2 And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined to thee, and minister to thee: but thou and thy sons with thee [shall minister] before the tabernacle of witness.

Και έτι τους αδελφούς σου, την φυλήν του Λευΐ, την φυλήν του πατρός σου, φέρε μετά σου, διά να ήναι ηνωμένοι μετά σου και να σε υπηρετώσι· συ όμως και οι υιοί σου μετά σου θέλετε υπηρετεί έμπροσθεν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου.

3 And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.

Και θέλουσι φυλάττει τας φυλακάς σου και τας φυλακάς όλης της σκηνής· μόνον εις τα σκεύη του αγιαστηρίου και εις το θυσιαστήριον δεν θέλουσι πλησιάζει, διά να μη αποθάνωσι μήτε αυτοί μήτε σεις.

4 And they shall be joined to thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh to you.

Και θέλουσιν είσθαι ηνωμένοι μετά σου και θέλουσι φυλάττει τας φυλακάς της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου κατά πάσας τας υπηρεσίας της σκηνής· και ξένος δεν θέλει σας πλησιάζει.

5 And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.

Και θέλετε φυλάττει τας φυλακάς του αγιαστηρίου και τας φυλακάς του θυσιαστηρίου, και δεν θέλει είσθαι πλέον οργή εις τους υιούς Ισραήλ.

6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you [they are] given [as] a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Και εγώ, ιδού, έλαβον τους αδελφούς σας τους Λευΐτας εκ μέσου των υιών Ισραήλ· ούτοι είναι δεδομένοι εις εσάς δώρον διά τον Κύριον, διά να εκτελώσι τας υπηρεσίας της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου.

7 Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office [to you as] a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

Συ δε και οι υιοί σου μετά σου θέλετε φυλάττει την ιερατείαν σας εις πάντα τα του θυσιαστηρίου και τα εντός του παραπετάσματος, και θέλετε κάμνει την υπηρεσίαν. Δώρον έδωκα την υπηρεσίαν της ιερατείας σας· και όστις ξένος πλησιάση, θέλει θανατόνεσθαι.

8 And the LORD spoke to Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of my heave-offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; to thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.

Και είπε Κύριος προς τον Ααρών, Ιδού, εγώ έδωκα έτι εις σε την επιστασίαν των υψουμένων προσφορών μου από πάντων των ηγιασμένων παρά των υιών Ισραήλ· εις σε έδωκα αυτά διά το χρίσμα και εις τους υιούς σου εις νόμιμον αιώνιον.

9 This shall be thine of the most holy things [reserved] from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat-offering of theirs, and every sin-offering of theirs, and every trespass-offering of theirs, which they shall render to me, [shall be] most holy for thee and for thy sons.

Τούτο θέλει είσθαι σου από των αγιωτάτων εκ των διά πυρός προσφερομένων· πάντα τα δώρα αυτών, πάσαι αι εξ αλφίτων προσφοραί αυτών και πάσαι αι περί αμαρτίας προσφοραί αυτών και πάσαι αι περί ανομίας προσφοραί αυτών, τας οποίας θέλουσιν αποδίδει εις εμέ, αγιώτατα θέλουσιν είσθαι διά σε και διά τους υιούς σου.

10 In the most holy [place] shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy to thee.

Εν τω αγίω των αγίων θέλετε τρώγει αυτά· παν αρσενικόν θέλει τρώγει αυτά· άγια θέλουσιν είσθαι εις σε.

11 And this [is] thine; the heave-offering of their gift, with all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them to thee, and to thy sons, and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

Και τούτο είναι σου, η υψουμένη προσφορά εκ των δώρων αυτών, μετά πασών των κινητών προσφορών των υιών Ισραήλ· εις σε έδωκα αυτά και εις τους υιούς σου και εις τας θυγατέρας σου μετά σου εις νόμιμον αιώνιον· πας καθαρός εν τω οίκω σου θέλει τρώγει αυτά.

12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the first-fruits of them which they shall offer to the LORD, them have I given to thee.

Παν το εξαίρετον του ελαίου, και παν το εξαίρετον του οίνου και του σίτου, τας απαρχάς αυτών, όσα προσφέρωσιν εις τον Κύριον, εις σε έδωκα αυτά·

13 [And] whatever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring to the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat [of] it.

Πάντα τα πρωτογεννήματα της γης, όσα φέρωσι προς τον Κύριον, σου θέλουσιν είσθαι πας καθαρός εν τω οίκω σου θέλει τρώγει αυτά.

14 Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.

Παν καθιέρωμα του Ισραήλ θέλει είσθαι σου.

15 Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring to the LORD, [whether] of men or beast, shall be thine: nevertheless, the first born of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.

Παν διανοίγον μήτραν εκ πάσης σαρκός, το οποίον προσφέρωσι προς τον Κύριον, από ανθρώπου έως κτήνους, σου θέλει είσθαι πλην τα πρωτότοκα των ανθρώπων θέλουσιν εξάπαντος εξαγοράζεσθαι και τα πρωτότοκα των κτηνών των ακαθάρτων θέλουσιν εξαγοράζεσθαι.

16 And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thy estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which [is] twenty gerahs.

Και όσα πρέπει να εξαγορασθώσιν από ηλικίας ενός μηνός, θέλουσιν εξαγοράζεσθαι κατά την εκτίμησίν σου, διά πέντε σίκλους αργυρίου, κατά τον σίκλον τον άγιον, όστις είναι είκοσι γερά.

17 But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they [are] holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat [for] an offering made by fire, for a sweet savor to the LORD.

Τα πρωτότοκα όμως των βοών ή τα πρωτότοκα των προβάτων ή τα πρωτότοκα των αιγών δεν θέλουσιν εξαγοράζεσθαι· άγια είναι· το αίμα αυτών θέλεις ραντίζει επί το θυσιαστήριον, και το πάχος αυτών θέλεις καίει διά προσφοράν γινομένην διά πυρός εις οσμήν ευωδίας προς τον Κύριον.

18 And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave-breast and as the right shoulder are thine

Και το κρέας αυτών θέλει είσθαι σου, καθώς το κινητόν στήθος και ο δεξιός ώμος είναι σου.

19 All the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to the LORD, have I given to thee, and to thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it [is] a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD to thee and to thy seed with thee.

Πάσας τας υψουμένας προσφοράς των αγίων πραγμάτων, τας οποίας οι υιοί Ισραήλ προσφέρωσιν εις τον Κύριον, έδωκα εις σε και εις τους υιούς σου και εις τας θυγατέρας σου μετά σου εις νόμιμον αιώνιον. Αύτη είναι διαθήκη άλατος παντοτεινή ενώπιον του Κυρίου εις σε και εις το σπέρμα σου μετά σου.

20 And the LORD spoke to Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I [am] thy part and thy inheritance among the children of Israel.

Και είπε Κύριος προς τον Ααρών, Εν τη γη αυτών δεν θέλεις έχει κληρονομίαν ουδέ θέλεις έχει μερίδα μεταξύ αυτών· εγώ είμαι η μερίς σου και η κληρονομία σου εν μέσω των υιών Ισραήλ.

21 And behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, [even] the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Και ιδού, έδωκα εις τους υιούς Λευΐ πάντα τα δέκατα του Ισραήλ εις κληρονομίαν, διά την υπηρεσίαν αυτών την οποίαν υπηρετούσι, την υπηρεσίαν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου·

22 Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.

και δεν θέλουσι πλησιάζει του λοιπού οι υιοί Ισραήλ εις την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου, διά να μη λάβωσιν εφ' εαυτούς αμαρτίαν και αποθάνωσιν·

23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: [It shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

αλλ' οι Λευΐται, ούτοι θέλουσιν υπηρετεί την υπηρεσίαν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου και ούτοι θέλουσι βαστάζει την ανομίαν αυτών· τούτο θέλει είσθαι νόμιμον αιώνιον εις τας γενεάς σας· και δεν θέλουσιν έχει μεταξύ των υιών Ισραήλ ουδεμίαν κληρονομίαν·

24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer [as] a heave-offering to the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said to them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

διότι τα δέκατα των υιών Ισραήλ, τα οποία προσφέρωσιν υψουμένην προσφοράν προς τον Κύριον, έδωκα κληρονομίαν εις τους Λευΐτας· διά τούτο είπα περί αυτών, Εν μέσω των υιών Ισραήλ δεν θέλουσιν έχει ουδεμίαν κληρονομίαν.

25 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν λέγων,

26 Thus speak to the Levites, and say to them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up a heave-offering of it for the LORD, [even] a tenth [part] of the tithe.

Λάλησον και προς τους Λευΐτας και ειπέ προς αυτούς, Όταν λαμβάνητε παρά των υιών Ισραήλ το δέκατον, το οποίον έδωκα εις εσάς παρ' αυτών διά κληρονομίαν σας, τότε θέλετε προσφέρει εξ αυτών προσφοράν υψουμένην εις τον Κύριον, δέκατον από του δεκάτου.

27 And [this] your heave-offering shall be reckoned to you, as though [it were] the corn of the threshing-floor, and as the fullness of the wine-press.

Και αύται αι υψούμεναι προσφοραί σας θέλουσι λογίζεσθαι εις εσάς ως σίτος του αλωνίου και ως αφθονία του ληνού.

28 Thus ye also shall offer a heave-offering to the LORD of all your tithes which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give of them the LORD'S heave-offering to Aaron the priest.

Ούτω και σεις θέλετε προσφέρει προσφοράν υψουμένην εις τον Κύριον από πάντων των δεκάτων σας, τα οποία λαμβάνετε παρά των υιών Ισραήλ· και από τούτων θέλετε δίδει την υψουμένην προσφοράν του Κυρίου εις τον Ααρών τον ιερέα.

29 Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave-offering of the LORD, of all the best of it, [even] its hallowed part out of it.

Από πάντων των δώρων σας θέλετε προσφέρει πάσαν υψουμένην προσφοράν του Κυρίου, από παντός του εξαιρέτου αυτών το ηγιασμένον μέρος εξ αυτών.

30 Therefore thou shalt say to them, When ye have heaved from it the best of it, then it shall be counted to the Levites as the increase of the threshing-floor, and as the increase of the wine-press.

Και θέλεις ειπεί προς αυτούς, Όταν προσφέρητε εξ αυτών το εξαίρετον αυτών, τούτο θέλει λογίζεσθαι διά τους Λευΐτας ως προϊόν του αλωνίου και ως προϊόν του ληνού·

31 And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it [is] your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.

και θέλετε τρώγει αυτά εν παντί τόπω, σεις και αι οικογένειαί σας· διότι τούτο είναι μισθός εις εσάς διά την υπηρεσίαν σας εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου·

32 And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.

και δεν θέλετε φέρει εφ' εαυτούς αμαρτίαν δι' αυτά, όταν προσφέρητε απ' αυτών το εξαίρετον αυτών· και δεν θέλετε βεβηλώσει τα άγια των υιών Ισραήλ, διά να μη αποθάνητε.
