Numbers 16
1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took [men]:

2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

3 And they assembled themselves against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, [Ye take] too much upon you, seeing all the congregation [are] holy, every one of them, and the LORD [is] among them: why then do ye raise yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
Nagtigom sila sa ilang mga kaugalingon aron sa pagsukmat kang Moises ug kang Aaron. Miingon sila kanila, “Sobra na kamo! Ang tibuok katilingban nga gilain, ang matag-usa kanila, ug si Yahweh anaa kanila. Ngano nga ipataas man ninyo ang inyong kaugalingon labaw sa uban nga katilingban ni Yahweh?”
4 And when Moses heard [it], he fell upon his face:
Sa pagkadungog ni Moises niana, mihapa siya.
5 And he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, Even to-morrow the LORD will show who [are] his, and [who is] holy; and will cause [him] to come near to him: even [him] whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near to him.
Misulti siya ngadto kang Kora ug sa tanan nga uban kaniya, “Inigkabuntag ipaila ni Yahweh kadtong nahisakop kaniya ug kadtong gilain alang kaniya. Ipaduol niya kanang tawhana ngadto kaniya. Ang iyang pilion ipaduol niya sa iyang kaugalingon.
6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;

7 And put fire in them, and put incense in them before the LORD to-morrow: and it shall be [that] the man whom the LORD doth choose, he [shall be] holy: [ye take] too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
Ugma pagdala kamo ug mga butangan sa insenso ug butangi kini'g kalayo ug insenso atubangan ni Yahweh. Ang tawo nga pilion ni Yahweh, kanang tawhana mailain alang kang Yahweh. Sobra na kamo, kamo nga mga kaliwat ni Levi.”
8 And Moses said to Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:

9 [Seemeth it but] a small thing to you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them?
gamay lang ba kini nga butang alang kaninyo nga gilain kamo sa Dios sa Israel gikan sa mga katilingban sa Israel, aron mapaduol kamo sa iyang kaugalingon, aron sa pagbuhat sa bulohaton sa tabernakulo ni Yahweh, ug sa pagbarog atubangan sa katilingban aron sa pag-alagad kanila?
10 And he hath brought thee near [to him], and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
Gipaduol na niya kamo, ug ang tanan ninyo nga mga kaliwat, mga kaliwat ni Levi, uban kanimo, apan gusto pa usab ninyo nga mahimong pari!
11 For which cause [both] thou and all thy company [are] assembled against the LORD: and what [is] Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
Mao nga ikaw ug ang tanan nimo nga pundok nagtigom batok kang Yahweh. Busa ngano nga nagbagulbol man kamo mahitungod kang Aaron, nga nagatuman kang Yahweh?”
12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: who said, We will not come up:
Unya gipatawag ni Moises si Datan, ug si Abiram, ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Eliab, apan miingon sila, “Dili kami moanha.”
13 [Is it] a small thing that thou hast brought us out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
Gamay lang ba nga butang nga gidala nimo kami pagawas sa yuta nga nagadagayday ang gatas ug dugos, aron nga mangamatay kami sa kamingawan? Karon gusto pa gayod nimo nga magmando kanamo!
14 Moreover, thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
Dugang pa, wala nimo kami gidala sa yuta nga nagadagayday ang gatas ug dugos, o gihatagan kami ug kaumahan ug parasan ingon nga panulondon. Karon buot ba nimo nga butahan kami sa walay pulos nga mga saad? Dili kami moanha kanimo.”
15 And Moses was very wroth, and said to the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
Nasuko pag-ayo si Moises ug giingnan niya si Yahweh, “Ayaw tahora ang ilang mga halad. Wala akoy gikuha bisan usa ka asno gikan kanila, ug wala akoy gipasakitan bisan usa kanila.”
16 And Moses said to Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to-morrow:
Unya miingon si Moises ngadto kang Kora, “Ugma ikaw ug ang tanan nimo nga kaubanan kinahanglan nga moadto sa atubangan ni Yahweh—ikaw ug sila, ug si Aaron.
17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also and Aaron each [of you] his censer.
Kinahanglan nga ang matag-usa kaninyo magdala ug iyang butanganan sa insenso ug butangan kini ug insenso. Unya ang matag tawo kinahanglan nga magdala sa iyang butanganan sa insenso atubangan ni Yahweh, 250 ka mga butanganan sa insenso. Ikaw ug si Aaron, usab, kinahanglan nga magdala sa inyong matag butanganan sa insenso.”
18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense on them, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
Busa ang matag tawo nagdala sa iyang butanganan sa insenso, gibutangan kini ug kalayo, gihanigan usab kini ug insenso, ug mibarog sa pultahan sa tolda nga tigomanan uban ni Moises ug ni Aaron.
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation.
Gitigom ni Kora ang tanang katilingban batok kang Moises ug kang Aaron didto sa pultahan sa tolda nga tigomanan, ug ang himaya ni Yahweh mipakita sa tanang katilingban.
20 And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
Unya nakigsulti si Yahweh ngadto kang Moises ug kang Aaron:
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
“Ilain ang inyong mga kaugalingon gikan sa taliwala niining katilingban aron nga malamoy ko dayon sila.”
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
Mihapa si Moises ug si Aaron ug miingon, “Dios, ang Dios sa mga espiritu sa tanang katawhan, kung makasala ang usa ka tawo, kinahanglan ba nga masuko ka sa tanang katilingban?”
23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Mitubag si Yahweh ngadto kang Moises. Miingon siya,
24 Speak to the congregation, saying, Withdraw yourselves from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
“Sultihi ang katilingban. Ingna, 'Pahilayo sa mga tolda ni Kora, Datan, ug Abiram.”'
25 And Moses rose up, and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
Unya mitindog si Moises ug miadto ngadto kang Datan ug Abiram; misunod ang mga kadagkoan sa Israel kaniya.
26 And he spoke to the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
Misulti siya ngadto sa katilingban ug miingon, “Karon biyai ang mga tolda niining daotan nga mga tawo ug ayaw hikapa ang bisan unsa nga ila, o malamoy kamo pinaagi sa tanan sa nilang mga sala.”
27 So they withdrew from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
Busa ang katilingban nga anaa sa matag kilid sa mga tolda ni Kora, Datan, ug Abiram mipahawa kanila. Migawas si Datan ug Abiram ug mibarog sa pultahan sa ilang mga tolda, uban sa ilang mga asawa, mga anak nga lalaki, ug ilang mga masuso.
28 And Moses said, by this ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works: for [I have] not [done them] of my own mind.
Unya miingon si Moises, “Pinaagi niini masayran ninyo nga si Yahweh ang nagpadala kanako sa pagbuhat niining tanan nga buluhaton, kay wala ako nagbuhat niini pinaagi sa akong kabubut-on.
29 If these men shall die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; [then] the LORD hath not sent me.
Kung kining mga tawhana mamatay sa kasagaran lang nga mahitabo, nan dili si Yahweh ang nagpadala kanako.
30 But if the LORD shall make a new thing, and the earth shall open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that [appertain] to them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. (Sheol h7585)
Apan kung palikion ni Yahweh ang yuta unya molamoy kanila sama sa usa ka dako nga baba, uban sa tanan nilang pamilya, ug kung mangahulog sila nga buhi ngadto sa Seol, nan kinahanglan ninyo nga sabton nga kining mga tawhana nakapasipala kang Yahweh.” (Sheol h7585)
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground cleaved asunder that [was] under them:
Dihadiha dayon pagkahuman ug sulti ni Moises niining tanang mga pulonga, mibuka ang yuta niadtong mga tawhana.
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that [appertained] to Korah, and [all their] goods.
Mibuka ang baba sa yuta ug gilamoy sila, ilang mga pamilya, ug ang tanang katawhan nga nahisakop kang Kora, lakip na ang tanan nilang mga gipanag-iyahan.
33 They, and all that [appertained] to them went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. (Sheol h7585)
Sila ug ang tanan sa ilang mga pamilya nangahulog nga buhi ngadto sa Seol. Mitiklop ang yuta kanila, ug sa niini nga paagi nahanaw sila gikan sa taliwala sa mga katilingban. (Sheol h7585)
34 And all Israel that [were] round about them, fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up [also].
Ang tanang Israelita nga nakapalibot kanila mipahilayo nga naghilak. Naniyagit sila, “Tingali ug lamuyon usab kita sa yuta!”
35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
Unya sa kalit lang mihugpa ang kalayo nga gikan Kang Yahweh ug gilamoy ang 250 ka kalalakin-an nga naghalad ug insenso.
36 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Nakigsulti pag-usab si Yahweh ngadto kang Moises ug nag-ingon,
37 Speak to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
“Sultihi si Eleazar nga anak ni Aaron nga pari ug tugoti siya nga mokuha sa mga butanganan sa insenso pagawas sa kalayo, kay ang mga butanganan sa insenso gilain alang kanako. Unya ipakatag kaniya ang nagdilaab nga mga uling ngadto sa layo.
38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates [for] a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign to the children of Israel.
Ipakuha ang mga butangan sa insenso niadtong nawad-an sa ilang mga kinabuhi tungod sa ilang sala. Ipahimo kining dinukdok nga mga plato ingon nga tabon ibabaw sa halaran. Kadtong mga tawhana naghalad niini atubangan kanako, mao nga gilain kini alang kanako. Mahimo kining timaan sa akong presensya ngadto sa katawhan sa Israel.”
39 And Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers, with which they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad [plates for] a covering of the altar:
Gikuha ni Eleazar nga pari ang tumbaga nga mga butanganan sa insenso nga gigamit sa mga tawo nga nangasunog, ug gidukdok kini aron mahimong tabon alang sa halaran,
40 [To be] a memorial to the children of Israel, that no stranger, who [is] not of the seed of Aaron, should come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he may not be as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.
Apan pagkasunod buntag ang tanang katilingban nga katawhan sa Israel nagbagulbol batok kang Moises ug kang Aaron. Miingon sila, “Gipangpatay nimo ang katawhan ni Yahweh.”
42 And it came to pass when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked towards the tabernacle of the congregation: and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
Unya nahitabo kini, sa dihang ang mga katilingban nagtigom batok kang Moises ug kang Aaron, nga naglantaw sila sa atubangan sa tolda nga tigomanan, ug, tan-awa, mitabon ang panganod niini. Mipakita ang himaya ni Yahweh,
43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
ug miduol si Moises ug si Aaron ngadto sa atubangan sa tolda nga tigomanan.
44 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Unya nakigsulti si Yahweh ngadto kang Moises. Miingon siya,
45 Remove from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
“Pahilayo gikan sa atubangan niining katilingban aron lamyon ko dayon sila.” Ug mihapa si Moises ug si Aaron sa yuta.
46 And Moses said to Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire in it from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly to the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
Miingon si Moises ngadto kang Aaron, “Kuhaa ang butanganan sa insenso, butangi kini ug kalayo gikan sa halaran, butangi kini ug insenso, dad-a dayon kini ngadto sa katilingban, ug paghimo ug pagpapas sa sala alang kanila, tungod kay moabot ang kasuko gikan kang Yahweh. Ang hampak nagsugod na.”
47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
Busa gibuhat ni Aaron ang gisulti ni Moises. Midagan siya ngadto sa tunga-tunga sa katilingban. Ang hampak misugod dayon sa pagkuyanap ngadto sa taliwala sa katawhan, busa gibutang niya ang insenso ug naghimo ug pagpapas sa sala alang sa katawhan.
48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
Mibarog si Aaron taliwala sa mga buhi ug sa mga patay; niini nga paagi miundang ang hampak.
49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides them that died about the matter of Korah.
Kadtong nangamatay sa hampak mokabat ug 14, 700 ang gidaghanon, wala pay labot kadtong nangamatay sa panghitabo kang Kora.
50 And Aaron returned to Moses at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.
Mibalik si Aaron ngadto kang Moises didto sa pultahan sa tolda nga tigomanan, ug mihunong na gayod ang hampak.
