Numbers 1
1 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first [day] of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés no deserto de Sinai, na tenda da congregação, no primeiro dia do mês segundo no segundo ano da sua saída da terra do Egito, dizendo:
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families by the house of their fathers, with the number of [their] names, every male by their poll:
Tomai a soma de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, segundo as suas gerações, segundo a casa de seus pais, no número dos nomes de todo o macho, cabeça por cabeça;
3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel; thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
Da idade de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que saem à guerra em Israel: a estes contareis segundo os seus exércitos, tu e Aarão.
4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
Estará convosco de cada tribo um homem que seja cabeça da casa de seus pais,
5 And these [are] the names of the men that shall stand with you: Of [the tribe of] Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
Estes pois são os nomes dos homens que estarão convosco: De Ruben, Elizur, filho de Sedeur;
6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
De Simeão, Selumiel, filho de Surisaddai;
7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
De Judá, Naasson, filho de Amminadab;
8 Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
De issacar, Nathanael, filho de Suhar;
9 Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.
De Zebulon, Eliab, filho de Helon;
10 Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
Dos filhos de José: de Ephraim; Elisama, filho de Ammihud; de Manasseh, Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur;
11 Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.
De Benjamin, Abidan, filho de Gideoni;
12 Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
De Dan, Ahieser, filho de Ammisaddai;
13 Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.

14 Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

15 Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.
De Naphtali, Ahira, filho de Enan.
16 These [were] the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
Estes foram os chamados da congregação, os príncipes das tribos de seus pais, os Cabeças dos milhares de Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by [their] names:
Então tomaram Moisés e Aarão a estes homens, que foram declarados pelos seus nomes.
18 And they assembled all the congregation on the first [day] of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.
E ajuntaram toda a congregação no primeiro dia do mês segundo, e declararam a sua descendência segundo as suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, cabeça por cabeça;
19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
Como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim os contou no deserto de Sinai.
20 And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Foram pois os filhos de Ruben, o primogênito de Israel; as suas gerações pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes, cabeça por cabeça, todo o macho de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra;
21 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Reuben, [were] forty and six thousand and five hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Ruben, quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.
22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Simeão, as suas gerações pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa dos seus pais; os seus contados, pelo número dos nomes, cabeça por cabeça, todo o macho de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
23 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Simeon, [were] fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Simeão, cincoênta e nove mil e trezentos.
24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Gad, as suas gerações pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
25 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Gad, [were] forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Gad, quarenta e cinco mil e seiscentos e cincoênta.
26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Judá, as suas gerações pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais; pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
27 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Judah, [were] seventy and four thousand and six hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Judá, setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.
28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de issacar, as suas gerações pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
29 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Issachar, [were] fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de issacar, cincoênta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.
30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Zebulon, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
31 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Zebulun, [were] fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Zebulon, cincoênta e sete mil e quatrocentos.
32 Of the children of Joseph, [namely], of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de José, dos filhos de Ephraim, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
33 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Ephraim, [were] forty thousand and five hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Ephraim, quarenta mil e quinhentos.
34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Manasseh, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
35 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Manasseh, [were] thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Manasseh, trinta e dois mil e duzentos.
36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Benjamin, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
37 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Benjamin, [were] thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Dan, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
39 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Dan, [were] sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Dan, sessenta e dois mil e setecentos.
40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Aser, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
41 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Asher, [were] forty and one thousand and five hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Aser, quarenta e um mil e quinhentos.
42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
Dos filhos de Naphtali, as suas gerações, pelas suas famílias, segundo a casa de seus pais, pelo número dos nomes dos de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra,
43 Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Naphtali, [were] fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
Foram contados deles, da tribo de Naphtali, cincoênta e três mil e quatrocentos.
44 These [are] those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, [being] twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
Estes foram os contados, que contou Moisés e Aarão, e os príncipes de Israel, doze homens, cada um era pela casa de seus pais.
45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
Assim foram todos os contados dos filhos de Israel, segundo a casa de seus pais, de vinte anos e para cima, todos os que podiam sair à guerra em Israel;
46 Even all they that were numbered, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
Todos os contados pois foram seiscentos e três mil e quinhentos e cincoênta.
47 But the Levites, after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.
Mas os levitas, segundo a tribo de seus pais, não foram contados entre eles,
48 For the LORD had spoken to Moses, saying,
Porquanto o Senhor tinha falado a Moisés, dizendo:
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
Porém não contarás a tribo de Levi, nem tomarás a soma deles entre os filhos de Israel:
50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that [belong] to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels, and they shall minister to it, and shall encamp around the tabernacle.
Mas tu põe os levitas sobre o tabernáculo do testemunho, e sobre todos os seus vasos, e sobre tudo o que pertence a ele: eles levarão o tabernáculo e todos os seus vasos; e eles o administrarão, e assentarão o seu arraial ao redor do tabernáculo.
51 And when the tabernacle moveth forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
E, quando o tabernáculo partir, os levitas o desarmarão; e, quando o tabernáculo assentar no arraial, os levitas o armarão; e o estranho que se chegar morrerá.
52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
E os filhos de Israel assentarão as suas tendas, cada um no seu esquadrão, e cada um junto à sua bandeira, segundo os seus exércitos.
53 But the Levites shall pitch around the tabernacle of testimony; that there may be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
Mas os levitas assentarão as suas tendas ao redor do tabernáculo do testemunho, para que não haja indignação sobre a congregação dos filhos de Israel, pelo que os levitas terão o cuidado da guarda do tabernáculo do testemunho.
54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
Assim fizeram os filhos de Israel: conforme a tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés, assim o fizeram.
