Aionian Verses
And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave to my son mourning: Thus his father wept for him. (Sheol h7585)
அவனுடைய மகன்கள், மகள்கள் எல்லோரும் அவனுக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்ல வந்து நின்றார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவன் ஆறுதலுக்கு இடம்கொடாமல், “நான் துக்கத்தோடு என் மகனிடத்திற்கு பாதாளத்தில் இறங்குவேன்” என்றான். இந்த விதமாக அவனுடைய தகப்பன் அவனுக்காக அழுதுகொண்டிருந்தான். (Sheol h7585)
And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief shall befall him by the way in which ye go, then will ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)

It shall come to pass, when he seeth that the lad [is] not [with us], that he will die: and thy servants will bring down the gray hairs of thy servant our father, with sorrow to the grave. (Sheol h7585)

But if the LORD shall make a new thing, and the earth shall open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that [appertain] to them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. (Sheol h7585)
யெகோவா ஒரு புதிய காரியத்தை நேரிடச்செய்வதால், பூமி தன்னுடைய வாயைத்திறந்து, இவர்கள் உயிரோடு பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கும்படியாக இவர்களையும் இவர்களுக்கு உண்டான யாவையும் விழுங்கிப் போட்டதென்றால், இந்த மனிதர்கள் யெகோவாவை அவமதித்தார்கள் என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்” என்றான். (Sheol h7585)
They, and all that [appertained] to them went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. (Sheol h7585)
அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு உண்டானவை எல்லாவற்றோடும் உயிரோடு பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கினார்கள்; பூமி அவர்களை மூடிக்கொண்டது; இப்படிச் சபையின் நடுவிலிருந்து அழிந்துபோனார்கள். (Sheol h7585)
For a fire is kindled in my anger, and shall burn to the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. (Sheol h7585)

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. (Sheol h7585)

Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoary head go down to the grave in peace. (Sheol h7585)

Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou [art] a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do to him; but his hoary head do thou bring down to the grave with blood. (Sheol h7585)

[As] the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no [more]. (Sheol h7585)

[It is] as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? (Sheol h7585)

O that thou wouldst hide me in the grave, that thou wouldst keep me secret, until thy wrath is past, that thou wouldst appoint me a set time, and remember me! (Sheol h7585)

They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. (Sheol h7585)

Drouth and heat consume the snow-waters: [so doth] the grave [those who] have sinned. (Sheol h7585)

The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God. (Sheol h7585)

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)

Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave. (Sheol h7585)

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. (Sheol h7585)

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)

The way of life [is] above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. (Sheol h7585)

Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. (Sheol h7585)

Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. (Sheol h7585)

The grave; and the barren womb; the earth [that] is not filled with water; and the fire [that] saith not, [It is] enough. (Sheol h7585)
அவையாவன: பாதாளமும், மலட்டுக் கர்ப்பமும், தண்ணீரால் திருப்தியடையாத நிலமும், போதுமென்று சொல்லாத நெருப்புமே. (Sheol h7585)
Whatever thy hand findeth to do, do [it] with thy might; for [there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. (Sheol h7585)

Set me as a seal upon thy heart, as a seal upon thy arm: for love [is] strong as death; jealousy [is] cruel as the grave: the coals of it [are] coals of fire, [which hath] a most vehement flame. (Sheol h7585)

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. (Sheol h7585)

Ask thee a sign from the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the hight above. (Sheol h7585)
நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் ஒரு அடையாளத்தை வேண்டிக்கொள்; அதை ஆழத்திலிருந்தாகிலும், வானத்திலிருந்தாகிலும் உண்டாகக் கேட்டுக்கொள் என்று சொன்னார்; (Sheol h7585)
Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet [thee] at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, [even] all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
கீழே இருக்கிற பாதாளம் உன்னைப்பார்த்து அதிர்ந்து, உன் வருகைக்கு எதிர்கொண்டு, பூமியில் அதிபதிகளாயிருந்து செத்த இராட்சதர் யாவரையும் உனக்காக எழுப்பி, மக்களுடைய எல்லா ராஜாக்களையும் அவர்களுடைய சிங்காசனங்களிலிருந்து எழுந்திருக்கச்செய்கிறது. (Sheol h7585)
Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, [and] the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. (Sheol h7585)

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. (Sheol h7585)

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we in agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not reach us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: (Sheol h7585)
நீங்கள்: மரணத்தோடு உடன்படிக்கையையும், பாதாளத்தோடு ஒப்பந்தமும் செய்தோம்; வாதை பெருவெள்ளமாகப் புரண்டுவந்தாலும் எங்களை அணுகாது; நாங்கள் பொய்யை எங்களுக்கு அடைக்கலமாக்கி, மாயையின் மறைவிலே வந்து அடைந்தோம் என்கிறீர்களே. (Sheol h7585)
And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. (Sheol h7585)

I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years. (Sheol h7585)

For the grave cannot praise thee, death can [not] celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. (Sheol h7585)
பாதாளம் உம்மைத் துதிக்காது, மரணம் உம்மைப் போற்றாது; குழியில் இறங்குகிறவர்கள் உம்முடைய சத்தியத்தை தியானிப்பதில்லை. (Sheol h7585)
And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase [thyself even] to hell. (Sheol h7585)
நீ தைலத்தைப் பூசிக்கொண்டு மொளேக் என்கிற விக்கிர தெய்வத்திடம் போகிறாய்; உன் வாசனைத்திரவியங்களை மிகுதியாக்கி, உன் பிரதிநிதிகளைத் தூரத்திற்கு அனுப்பி, உன்னைப் பாதாளம்வரை தாழ்த்துகிறாய். (Sheol h7585)
Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained its floods, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him. (Sheol h7585)

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to the grave with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth. (Sheol h7585)

They also went down into the grave with him to [them that are] slain with the sword; and [they that were] his arm, [that] dwelt under his shade in the midst of the heathen. (Sheol h7585)

The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of the grave with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)
