< Nehemiah 6 >
1 Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had built the wall, and [that] there was no breach left in it, (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates; )
Tango Sanibala, Tobiya, Geshemi, moto ya mokili ya Arabi, mpe banguna na biso mosusu bayokaki ete nasilisi kotonga lisusu mir mpe etikali na lidusu ata moko te, atako na tango wana namitielaki nanu bizipelo ya bikuke te,
2 That Sanballat and Geshem sent to me, saying, Come, let us meet together in [some one of] the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
Sanibala mpe Geshemi batindelaki ngai maloba oyo: — Yaka, tokutana na Kefirimi, kati na lubwaku ya Ono. Bazalaki na likanisi ya kosala ngai mabe.
3 And I sent messengers to them, saying, I [am] doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
Natindelaki bango bamemi sango koyebisa bango eyano oyo: — Nazali na mosala monene ya kosala, nakokoka te koya kuna. Mpo na nini mosala etelema tango nakotika yango mpo na koya kokutana na bino?
4 Yet they sent to me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.
Mbala minei, batindelaki ngai sango kaka moko; mpe tango nyonso, ngai mpe nazalaki kozongisela bango eyano kaka moko.
5 Then Sanballat sent his servant to me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand;
Na mbala ya mitano, Sanibala atindelaki ngai sango moko kaka wana na nzela ya mosali na ye, oyo asimbaki mokanda ya kofungwama na loboko na ye.
6 In which [was] written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith [it], [that] thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.
Kati na mokanda yango, bakomaki: « Sango ezali kopanzana kati na bikolo, Geshemi abeti kutu sete mpo na koloba na ngai ete ezali penza solo, ete yo mpe Bayuda bozali komibongisa mpo na kotomboka, mpe ezali mpo na yango nde bozali kotonga lisusu mir oyo. Kolanda sango yango, ozali na posa ya kokoma mokonzi na bango;
7 And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, [There is] a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
mpe osili kutu kopona basakoli mpo ete bapanza sango kati na Yelusalemi ete okomi mokonzi ya Yuda! Sik’oyo, yeba ete sango oyo ekokoma kino penza na matoyi ya mokonzi. Boye, yaka mpo ete tosolola na tina na yango! »
8 Then I sent to him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thy own heart.
Natindelaki ye eyano oyo: — Kati na nyonso oyo olobi, moko te ezali solo. Ezali makambo oyo yo moko ozali kokanisa na moto na yo!
9 For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it may not be done. Now therefore, [O God], strengthen my hands.
Bato wana nyonso bazalaki koluka kobangisa biso; bazalaki komilobela: — Maboko na bango ekolemba makasi, ekokoka lisusu kosala te; mpe mosala ekosila te, ekotelema! Bakolemba nzoto mpe bakosundola mosala! Kasi ngai nasambelaki: — Sik’oyo, oh Yawe, lendisa maboko na ngai!
10 Afterward I came to the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who [was] shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
Mokolo moko, nakendeki na ndako ya Shemaya, mwana mobali ya Delaya, koko ya Metabeyeli, oyo amikangelaki na ndako na ye. Alobaki: — Tokutana kati na Ndako ya Nzambe, na kati-kati ya Esika ya bule, mpe tokanga bikuke na yango, pamba te bato bazali koya mpo na koboma yo; bakoya na butu mpo na koboma yo.
11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who [is there], that, [being] as I [am], would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
Kasi nazongiselaki na ye: — Boni, moto lokola ngai akoki penza kokima! Kutu, moto nani lokola ngai akoki kokimela kati na Ndako ya Nzambe mpe abikisa bomoi na ye? Nakokende te!
12 And lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
Nasosolaki mbala moko ete ezali Nzambe te nde atindi ye. Kasi apesaki lisakoli wana na tina na ngai, pamba te Tobiya mpe Sanibala bapesaki ye kanyaka.
13 Therefore [was] he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and [that] they might have [matter] for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
Bapesaki ye kanyaka mpo na kobangisa ngai, mpo ete nasala masumu tango nakolanda toli na ye; mpe mpo ete babebisa lokumu ya kombo na ngai mpe bayokisa ngai soni.
14 My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.
Oh Nzambe na ngai, kanisa Tobiya mpe Sanibala mpo na misala na bango! Kanisa lisusu Noadia, mwasi mosakoli, elongo na basakoli mosusu oyo bazalaki komeka kobangisa ngai!
15 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth [day] of [the month] Elul, in fifty and two days.
Boye, misala ya kotonga mir esilaki na mokolo ya tuku mibale na mitano ya sanza ya Eluli; esalaki mikolo tuku mitano na mibale.
16 And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard [of it], and all the heathen that [were] about us saw [these things], they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought by our God.
Tango banguna na biso bayokaki sango yango, bato ya bikolo nyonso ya zingazinga bakomaki kobanga mpe koyoka soni na miso na bango moko, mpo ete basosolaki ete ezali kaka na lisungi ya Nzambe na biso nde mosala ya ndenge wana esalemaki.
17 Moreover, in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters to Tobiah, and [the letters] of Tobiah came to them.
Na mikolo wana, bankumu ya Yuda bazalaki kotinda mikanda ebele epai ya Tobiya, mpe biyano ya Tobiya ezalaki kokomela bango.
18 For [there were] many in Judah sworn to him, because he [was] the son-in-law of Shechaniah the son of Arah; and his son Johanan had taken the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah.
Pamba te bato ebele ya Yuda basalaki boyokani elongo na ye, na nzela ya ndayi, mpo ete azalaki bokilo ya Shekania, mwana mobali ya Ara, mpe mpo ete Yoanani, mwana na ye ya mobali, abalaki mwana mwasi ya Meshulami, mwana mobali ya Berekia.
19 Also they reported his good deeds before me, and uttered my words to him. [And] Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.
Bazalaki kutu kokumisa misala na ye na miso na ngai mpe koyebisa ye maloba na ngai. Ezalaki Tobiya wana moto azalaki kotinda mikanda mpo na kobangisa ngai.
