< Matthew 12 >

1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath through the corn, and his disciples were hungry, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
ᎾᎯᏳ ᏥᏌ ᎠᎢᏒᎩ ᎠᏫᏒ ᎤᏣᎴᏍᏗ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬ ᎢᎦ; ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯᏃ ᎠᎪᏄ ᏚᏂᏲᏏᏍᎬᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᎴᏅᎲᎩ ᎤᏂᏍᎫᏕᏒᎩ ᎤᏣᎴᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏍᏗᎬᎩ.
2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, Behold, thy disciples do that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᏒ ᎯᎠ ᏅᎬᏩᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎢᎬᏛᏁᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬ ᎢᎦ ᎾᎾᏛᏁ ᎨᏣᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ.
3 But he said to them, Have ye not read what David did when he was hungry, and they that were with him;
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏝᏍᎪ ᏱᏥᎪᎵᏰᎣ ᏕᏫ ᏄᏛᏁᎸ ᎠᎪᏄ ᏧᏲᏏᏍᎨ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏁᎯ,
4 How he entered into the house of God, and ate the show-bread, which it was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them who were with him, but only for the priests?
ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵ ᎠᏓᏁᎸ ᏧᏴᎴᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎦᏙᏗ ᎦᏚ ᏧᎨᎢ, ᏰᎵ ᎬᏩᎩᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᎨᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏁᎯ, ᎠᏥᎸᏍᎩᏂ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎤᏅᏒ?
5 Or have ye not read in the law, that on the sabbath the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
ᏝᏍᎪ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏱᏥᎪᎵᏰᎣ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗᏱ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬ ᎢᎦ ᎤᏛᎾ ᏗᎦᏔᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬ ᎠᏂᏲᏍᏗᏍᎬ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏍᎦᏅᏨᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ?
6 But I say to you, that in this place is [one] greater than the temple.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎠᏂ ᎡᏙᎭ ᎤᏟ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎤᏛᎾ ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ.
7 But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
ᏱᏥᎦᏙᎥᏎᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᏛᎬ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏂᎦᏪᎠ, ᎠᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏆᏚᎵᎭ, ᎥᏝᏃ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎨᎳᏍᏗᏱ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᎤᏂᏍᎦᏅᏨᎯ ᏱᏙᎨᏥᏰᎸᏁ ᏄᏂᏍᎦᏅᏨᎾ.
8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath.
ᏴᏫᏰᏃ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬ ᎢᎦ.
9 And when he had departed thence, he went into their synagogue.
ᎾᎿᎭᏃ ᎢᎤᏓᏅᏒ, ᏧᏂᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᏭᏴᎸᎩ.
10 And behold, there was a man who had [his] hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? that they might accuse him.
ᎬᏂᏳᏉᏃ ᎡᏙᎲᎩ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏬᏰᏂ ᎤᏩᎢᏎᎸᎯ. ᎬᏩᏛᏛᏅᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ; ᏥᎪ ᏰᎵᏉ ᎬᏓᏅᏬᏗ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬᎢ; ᎬᏩᏱᎵᏓᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᎾᏚᎵᏍᎬᎩ.
11 And he said to them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it shall fall into a pit on the sabbath, will he not lay hold on it, and lift [it] out?
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏥᎪ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏓᏑᏯ ᎢᏤᎲᎢ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᏌᏉ ᎠᏫ ᎤᏃᏕᎾ ᏳᎾᏝᎠ, ᎠᏔᎴᏒᏃ ᏳᎸᏨ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏭᏂᏴᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏭᎴᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ?
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
ᏂᎦᎥᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏟᎯᏳ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᏴᏫ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎠᏫ ᎤᏃᏕᎾ. ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏰᎵᏉ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏗᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬ ᎢᎦ.
13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch out thy hand. And he stretched [it] out; and [it] was restored to a sound state like the other.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ; ᎭᏙᏯᏅᎯᏓ; ᎤᏙᏯᏅᎯᏛᎩᏃ. ᎠᎴ ᎤᏗᏩᏒᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏐᎢ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎩ.
14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎤᏂᏄᎪᏨ ᎤᏂᏃᎮᎸ ᎢᏳᏅᏁᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᎯᏍᏗᏱ.
15 But when Jesus knew [it], he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏙᎴᎰᏒ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᏓᏅᏒᎩ; ᎤᏂᏣᏘᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏛᏒᎩ; ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏚᏅᏩᏅᎩ,
16 And charged them that they should not make him known:
ᎠᎴ ᏚᏅᏍᏓᏕᎸ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᎢᎬᏩᏁᏗᏱ.
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
ᎤᏙᎯᏳᏗᏱ ᎠᏰᎸᏒᎩ ᎢᏌᏯ ᎠᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏧᏁᏤᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏥᏄᏪᏎᎢ;
18 Behold, my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.
ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᏥᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᏥᏯᏑᏰᏛ ᏥᎨᏳᎢ ᏗᏆᏓᏅᏛ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏥᏰᎸᎢ; ᏓᏥᏁᎵ ᎠᏆᏓᏅᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏚᏳᎪᏛ ᏧᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
19 He shall not contend, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
ᎥᏝ ᏧᏘᏲᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏪᎷᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏛᎦᏁᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎧᏁᎬ ᏕᎦᎳᏅᏛᎢ.
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he shall send forth judgment to victory.
ᏩᏐᎾ ᎤᏰᏓᏬᏨᎯ ᎥᏝ ᏧᏍᏆᎵᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏙᎴᏛ ᏧᎦᏒᏍᏗ ᎥᏝ ᎤᏩᏜᏓᏗᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎬᏂ ᎠᏓᎵᏁᎯᏙᏅᎭ ᏚᏳᎪᏛ ᎨᏒ ᏓᏰᎵᎯᏍᏗᏍᎬᎢ.
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
ᎠᎴ ᏚᏙᎥ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᎦᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
22 Then was brought to him one possessed with a demon, blind and dumb; and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎠᎦᏘᏃᎮᎸᎩ ᎠᏍᎩᎾ ᎤᏯᎢ ᏗᎨᏫ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏩᎨᏫ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏅᏩᏅᎩ; ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏗᎨᏫ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏩᎨᏫ ᎤᏬᏂᏒᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎪᎲᎩ.
23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏒᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ; ᏝᏍᎪ ᎯᎠ ᏕᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏱᎩ?
24 But when the Pharisees heard [it], they said, This [man] doth not cast out demons, but by Beelzebub the prince of the demons.
ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ; ᎯᎠ ᎥᏝ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ ᏱᏗᎦᏄᎪᏫᏍᎦ ᎬᏂ ᏧᏍᏕᎵᏍᎪ ᏇᎵᏥᏆ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ ᎤᎾᏤᎵᎦ.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself, is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself, shall not stand.
ᎠᎴ ᏥᏌ ᎠᎦᏔᎲ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎠᎾᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏂᎦᎥ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎪᏢᏒᎢ ᏔᎵ ᏥᎾᏓᏗᏍᎪ ᎤᏩᏒᏉ ᏣᏓᏡᏗᏍᎪ ᎠᏲᎪᏉ; ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎦᏚᎲ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓᏁᎸ ᏔᎵ ᏥᎾᏓᏗᏍᎪ ᎤᏩᏒᏉ ᏣᏓᏡᏗᏍᎪ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏂᎬᏩᏍᏙᏉ.
26 And if Satan casteth out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand?
ᎢᏳ ᎠᎴ ᏎᏓᏂ ᏎᏓᏂ ᏱᎦᏄᎪᏫᏍᎦ, ᏔᎵ ᎾᏓᏗᏍᎪᎢ ᎤᏩᏒᏉ ᎠᏓᏡᏗᏍᎪᎢ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᏱᎦᎵᏍᏙᏓ ᏱᏂᎬᏩᏍᏗᏉ ᎤᏤᎵᎪᎯ?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your children expel [them]? therefore they shall be your judges.
ᎢᏳᏃ ᎠᏴ ᏇᎵᏥᏆ ᏯᎩᏍᏕᎵ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ ᏱᏗᏥᏄᎪᏫᏍᎦ, ᎦᎪ ᎤᏂᏍᏕᎵᏍᎪ ᏗᏤᏥ ᏥᏓᏂᏄᎪᏫᏍᎪᎢ? ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᏗᎨᏧᎪᏓᏁᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come to you.
ᎢᏳᏍᎩᏂ ᎠᏴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏓᏅᏙ ᏱᎬᏗ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ ᏱᏗᏥᏄᎪᏫᏍᎦ, ᎿᎭᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎡᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏥᎷᏤᎸ.
29 Or else, how can one enter into a strong man's house, and seize his goods, except he shall first bind the strong man? and then he will plunder his house.
ᎠᎴ ᎦᏙ ᏯᏛᎦ ᎩᎶ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎦᏁᎸ ᏯᏴᎭ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎿᎭᎥ ᏯᏬᏅ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎢᎬᏱ ᏄᎸᎸᎾ ᏱᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ? ᎩᎳ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏯᏬᏅ ᎦᏁᎸᎢ ᎤᎿᎭᎥᎢ.
30 He that is not with me, is against me; and he that gathereth not with me, scattereth abroad.
ᎩᎶ ᎾᏆᎵᎪᏁᎲᎾ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏆᏡᏗᎭ; ᎩᎶᏃ ᏃᏍᏗᏟᏏᏍᎬᎾ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏯᏗᎦᎴᏯᏍᎦ.
31 Wherefore I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men: but the blasphemy [against] the [Holy] Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᏂᎦᎥ ᏄᏓᎴᏒ ᎠᏍᎦᏅᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏐᏢᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎨᏥᏙᎵᏍᏗᏉ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ; ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳᏍᎩᏂ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎠᏐᏢᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎥᏝ ᎨᏥᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ.
32 And whoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come. (aiōn g165)
ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎬ ᎠᏡᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᎠᏥᏙᎵᏍᏗᏉ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᎩᎶᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎬ ᎠᏡᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ, ᎥᏝ ᎠᏥᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎪᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏐᎢᏱ ᏗᎨᏒᎢ. (aiōn g165)
33 Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by [its] fruit.
ᏡᎬ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏂᏨᎦ ᎤᏛᏃ ᎣᏍᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏡᎬ ᎤᏐᏅ ᏂᏨᎦ ᎤᏛᏃ ᎤᏐᏅᎢ; ᏡᎬᏰᏃ ᎪᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏐ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎤᏛᎢ.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
Ᏺ ᎢᎾᏛ ᏧᏁᏥ ᏂᎯ! ᏥᏂᏥᏲᎢᏴ ᎦᏙ ᏱᎦᎵᏍᏙᏓ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏱᏥᏬᏂᎯ? ᎤᏣᏛᏰᏃ ᎣᎾᏫᏱ ᎣᏪᎲᎢ ᎥᎰᎵ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎪᎢ.
35 A good man, out of the good treasure of the heart, bringeth forth good things: and an evil man, out of the evil treasure, bringeth forth evil things.
ᎣᏍᏛ ᏴᏫ, ᎣᏍᏛ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏛ ᎤᎾᏫᏱ, ᎣᏍᏛ ᎦᎾᏄᎪᏫᏍᎪᎢ. ᎤᏲᏃ ᏴᏫ, ᎤᏲ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏛ ᎤᏲ ᎦᎾᏄᎪᏫᏍᎪᎢ.
36 But I say to you, That for every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account in the day of judgment.
ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᏂᎦᎥ ᎤᏲ ᎠᏂᏬᏂᏍᎬ ᏴᏫ, ᎤᏂᏃᎮᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏗᎫᎪᏙᏗᏱ ᎢᎦ ᎨᏒᎢ.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
ᎯᏁᎬᏰᏃ ᏣᏚᏓᎴᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᏁᎬ ᏣᏍᎦᏅᏨ ᏗᏣᏚᎪᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᎾᏍᏗ ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎤᏂᏁᏨ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ; ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᎣᎦᏚᎵ ᎢᏨᎪᏩᏛᎡᏗᏱ.
39 But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh for a sign, and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah.
ᎤᏁᏨᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎪᎯ ᏣᏁᎭ ᎤᏂᏲ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎾᏓᏲᏁᎯ ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᎤᏂᏲᎰᎢ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᎥᏝ ᎨᏥᏁᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᏦᎾ ᎠᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᎤᏩᏒ.
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
ᏦᎾᏰᏃ ᏦᎢ ᎢᎦ ᎠᎴ ᏦᎢ ᏒᏃᏱ ᎠᏣᏗ ᎡᏆ ᎤᏍᏉᎵᏱ ᏣᏯᎡᎢ, ᎾᏍᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏦᎢ ᎢᎦ ᎠᎴ ᏦᎢ ᏒᏃᏱ ᎦᏙᎯ ᎭᏫᏂ ᎠᏯᎡᏍᏗ.
41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah [is] here.
ᏴᏫ ᏂᏂᏫ ᏣᏁᎲᎩ ᏙᏛᎾᎴᏂ ᏓᎬᏩᎾᏡᏔᏂ ᎪᎯ ᏣᏁᎭ, ᏗᎫᎪᏙᏗᏱ ᎢᎦ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏍᎦᏅᏨ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᎤᏛᏅᏁᎵ; ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛ ᏚᏂᏁᏟᏴᏒᎩ ᏦᎾ ᎠᎵᏥᏙᎲᏍᎬ ᏄᏩᏂᏌᏅᎩ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉᏃ ᎠᏂ ᎡᏙᎭ ᎤᏟ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᏦᎾ.
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here.
ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᎨᏴ ᏧᎦᎾᏮ ᏤᎮᎢ ᏙᏛᎴᏂ ᏓᏳᎾᏡᏔᏂ ᎪᎯ ᏣᏁᎭ ᏗᎫᎪᏙᏗᏱ ᎢᎦ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏍᎦᏅᏨ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏅᏓᎬᏁᎵ; ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᎦᏙᎯ ᏩᏍᏛ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏧᏪᏅᏎ ᎤᏛᎦᏂᎴ ᏐᎵᎼᏅ ᎠᎦᏔᎿᎭᎢᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉᏃ ᎠᏂ ᎡᏙᎭ ᎤᏟ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᏐᎵᎼᏅ.
43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and he findeth none.
ᎢᏳᏃ ᎦᏓᎭ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᏴᏫᎯ ᎦᏄᎪᎢ, ᎤᎧᏲᏛᎯ ᎡᏙᎰᎢ ᎤᏯᏪᏐᎸᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏲᎰᎢ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎥᏝ ᏯᏩᏘᏍᎪᎢ.
44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth [it] empty, swept, and garnished.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎪᎢ; ᏗᏥᏁᎸ ᏗᎩᏄᎪᏨ ᏴᏛᏥᎶᏏ. ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏫᎦᎷᎩ ᎠᏩᏘᏍᎪ ᎤᏏᏩ ᎨᏐ ᎠᎴ ᎬᏃᏌᏛᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎪᏚᎢᏍᏙᎢ.
45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also to this wicked generation.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎢᎡᎪᎢ ᏫᏓᏯᏂᏍᎪ ᎤᏩᎾᏓᎴ ᎦᎵᏉᎩ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ ᎤᏟ ᎢᏳᏂᏁᎫᏥᏛ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎤᏩᏒ, ᎾᎿᎭᏃ ᎠᏂᏴᎯᎰᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏁᎳᏗᏍᎪᎢ, ᎣᏂᏃ ᏄᏍᏛ Ꮎ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏟ ᎤᏲᎢᏳ ᎨᏐᎢ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎢᎬᏱᏱ. ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᏄᎾᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎪᎯ ᎤᏂᏁᎫᏥᏛ ᏣᏁᎭ.
46 While he was yet speaking to the people, behold, [his] mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
ᎠᏏᏉ ᏕᎦᏬᏁᏗᏍᎬ ᏴᏫ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎤᏥ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ ᏙᏱᏢ ᎠᏂᏙᎾᎥᎩ, ᎤᎾᏚᎵᏍᎬᎩ ᎬᏩᎵᏃᎮᏙᏗᏱ.
47 Then one said to him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
ᎩᎶᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᏣᏥ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᎵᏅᏟ ᏙᏱ ᎠᏂᏙᎾᎠ, ᎨᏣᎵᏃᎮᏙᏗᏱ ᎤᎾᏚᎵᎭ.
48 But he answered and said to him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
ᎤᏁᏨᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸ ᎤᏃᏁᎸᎯ; ᎦᎪ ᎡᏥ? ᎠᎴ ᎦᎪ ᎣᏣᎵᏅᏟ?
49 And he stretched forth his hand towards his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
ᏫᏚᏐᏅᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎡᏥ ᎠᎴ ᎣᏣᎵᏅᏟ.
50 For whoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
ᎩᎶᏰᏃ ᎾᏛᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎬ ᎡᏙᏓ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎡᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎥᎩᏅᏟ ᎠᎴ ᎥᎩᏙ ᎠᎴ ᎡᏥ.
