Mark 11
1 And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, to Bethphage, and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
Und als sie sich Jerusalem näherten und gegen Bethphage und Bethanien an den Ölberg kamen, sandte er zwei seiner Jünger
2 And saith to them, Go into the village over against you: and as soon as ye have entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, on which never man sat; loose him, and bring [him].
und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet in das Dorf, das vor euch liegt, und sobald ihr dort hineinkommt, werdet ihr ein Füllen angebunden finden, auf welchem noch kein Mensch gesessen hat; bindet es los und führet es her.
3 And if any man shall say to you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and immediately he will send him hither.
Und wenn jemand zu euch spricht: Warum tut ihr das? so saget: Der Herr bedarf seiner; so wird er es alsbald hierher schicken.
4 And they went, and found the colt tied by the door without, in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
Da gingen sie hin und fanden ein Füllen angebunden an einer Tür draußen am Scheidewege und lösten es ab.
5 And certain of them that stood there, said to them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
Und etliche der Umstehenden sprachen zu ihnen: Was machet ihr da, daß ihr das Füllen losbindet?
6 And they said to them even as Jesus had commanded; and they let them go.
Sie aber sagten zu ihnen, wie Jesus befohlen hatte, und sie ließen es ihnen.
7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
Und sie führten das Füllen zu Jesus und legten ihre Kleider darauf, und er setzte sich auf dasselbe.
8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off trees, and strewed [them] in the way.
Und viele breiteten ihre Kleider auf den Weg, andere aber hieben Zweige von den Bäumen und streuten sie auf den Weg.
9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna: Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Und die vorangingen und die nachfolgten, schrieen und sprachen: Hosianna! Gepriesen sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn!
10 Blessed [be] the kingdom of our Father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
Gepriesen sei das kommende Reich unsres Vaters David! Hosianna in der Höhe!
11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round upon all things, it being now evening, he went out to Bethany, with the twelve.
Und Jesus zog in Jerusalem ein und in den Tempel, und, nachdem er alles besichtigt hatte, ging er, da die Stunde schon vorgerückt war, mit den Zwölfen hinaus nach Bethanien.
12 And on the morrow, when they had come from Bethany, he was hungry,
Und als sie am folgenden Tage Bethanien verließen, hungerte ihn.
13 And seeing a fig-tree afar off, having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing on it: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves: for the time of figs had not yet come.
Und als er von ferne einen Feigenbaum sah, der Blätter hatte, ging er hin, ob er etwas daran fände. Und als er zu demselben kam, fand er nichts als Blätter; denn es war nicht die Zeit der Feigen.
14 And Jesus answered and said to it, Let no man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard [it]. (aiōn g165)
Und Jesus hob an und sprach zu ihm: Es esse in Ewigkeit niemand mehr eine Frucht von dir! Und seine Jünger hörten es. (aiōn g165)
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
Und sie kamen nach Jerusalem. Und Jesus ging in den Tempel und fing an, die hinauszutreiben, welche im Tempel verkauften und kauften; und die Tische der Wechsler und die Stühle der Taubenverkäufer stieß er um.
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry [any] vessel through the temple.
Und er ließ nicht zu, daß jemand ein Gerät durch den Tempel trug.
17 And he taught, saying to them, Is it not written, My house shall be called by all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Und er lehrte sie und sprach: Steht nicht geschrieben: «Mein Haus soll ein Bethaus heißen für alle Völker»? Ihr aber habt eine Räuberhöhle daraus gemacht!
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard [it], and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people were astonished at his doctrine.
Und die Schriftgelehrten und die Hohenpriester hörten es und suchten, wie sie ihn umbringen könnten; denn sie fürchteten ihn, weil alles Volk staunte über seine Lehre.
19 And when evening had come, he went out of the city.
Und als es Abend geworden, ging er aus der Stadt hinaus.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig-tree dried up from the roots.
Und da sie am Morgen vorbeikamen, sahen sie, daß der Feigenbaum von den Wurzeln an verdorrt war.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance, saith to him, Master, behold, the fig-tree which thou cursedst is withered.
Und Petrus dachte daran und sprach zu ihm: Rabbi, siehe, der Feigenbaum, den du verflucht hast, ist verdorrt!
22 And Jesus answering, saith to them, Have faith in God.
Und Jesus hob an und sprach zu ihnen: Habt Glauben an Gott!
23 For verily I say to you, that whoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that the things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatever he saith.
Denn wahrlich, ich sage euch, wenn jemand zu diesem Berge spräche: Hebe dich und wirf dich ins Meer, und in seinem Herzen nicht zweifelte, sondern glaubte, daß das, was er sagt, geschieht, so wird es ihm zuteil werden.
24 Therefore I say to you, Whatever things ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].
Darum sage ich euch: Alles, was ihr im Gebet verlangt, glaubet, daß ihr es empfangen habt, so wird es euch zuteil werden!
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Und wenn ihr steht und betet, so vergebet, wenn ihr etwas wider jemand habt, damit auch euer Vater im Himmel euch eure Fehler vergebe.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Wenn ihr aber nicht vergebet, so wird auch euer Vater im Himmel eure Fehler nicht vergeben.
27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
Und sie kamen wiederum nach Jerusalem. Und als er im Tempel umherwandelte, traten die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten und die Ältesten zu ihm
28 And say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
und sprachen zu ihm: In welcher Vollmacht tust du das? Und wer hat dir diese Vollmacht gegeben, solches zu tun?
29 And Jesus answered and said to them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich will auch eine Frage an euch richten; antwortet mir, so will ich euch sagen, in welcher Vollmacht ich solches tue.
30 The baptism of John, was [it] from heaven, or from men? answer me.
War die Taufe des Johannes vom Himmel oder von Menschen? Antwortet mir!
31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
Und sie überlegten bei sich selbst und sprachen: Wenn wir sagen: «Vom Himmel», so wird er fragen: Warum habt ihr ihm denn nicht geglaubt?
32 But if we shall say, from men; they feared the people: for all [men] counted John that he was a prophet indeed.
Sollen wir aber sagen: «Von den Menschen?» da fürchteten sie das Volk; denn alle hielten dafür, daß Johannes wirklich ein Prophet gewesen sei.
33 And they answered and said to Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
Und sie antworteten Jesus und sprachen: Wir wissen es nicht! Da sprach Jesus zu ihnen: So sage ich euch auch nicht, in welcher Vollmacht ich solches tue!
