Malachi 4
1 For behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
萬軍のヱホバいひたまふ 視よ爐のごとくに燒る日來らん すべて驕傲者と惡をおこなふ者は藁のごとくにならん 其きたらんとする日彼等を燒つくして根も枝ものこらざらしめん
2 But to you that fear my name, shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
されど我名をおそるる汝らには義の日いでて昇らん その翼には醫す能をそなへん 汝らは牢よりいでし犢の如く躍跳ん
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the LORD of hosts.
又なんぢらは惡人を踐つけん 即ちわが設くる日にかれらは汝らの脚の掌の下にありて灰のごとくならん 萬軍のヱホバこれを言ふ
4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the statutes and judgments.
なんぢらわが僕モーセの律法をおぼえよ すなはち我がホレブにてイスラエル全體のために彼に命ぜし法度と誡命をおぼゆべし
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
視よヱホバの大なる畏るべき日の來るまへにわれ預言者エリヤを汝らにつかはさん
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
かれ父の心にその子女の心を慈はせ 子女の心にその父をおもはしめん 是は我が來りて詛をもて地を撃ことなからんためなり
