< Malachi 3 >

1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he will come, saith the LORD of hosts.
LEUM GOD Kulana El topuk ac fahk, “Nga fah supwaot mwet utuk kas luk in akoela inkanek luk. Na Leum su kowos suk ac fah sa na in tuku nu ke Tempul lal. Mwet utuk pweng se su kowos kena liye inge ac fah tuku ac sulkakin wuleang luk.”
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he [is] like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap.
Tusruktu su ac fah ku in muteng len sac ke El tuku? Su ac fah ku in painmoulla ke El ac sikme? El ac fah oana sie e arulana ku ma aknasnasye osra, ac oana soap kulana.
3 And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.
El ac fah tuku in orek nununku oana sie mwet orekma ke osra su munanak silver ac gold in aknasnasyela. Ouinge mwet utuk kas lun LEUM GOD fah aknasnasye mwet tol uh, na elos fah use mwe sang wo ma fal nu sin LEUM GOD.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant to the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
Na mwe sang su mwet Judah ac mwet Jerusalem us nu sin LEUM GOD fah mwe insewowo nu sel, oana in pacl meet ah.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in [his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger [from his right], and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
LEUM GOD Kulana El fahk, “Nga ac fah tuku nu yuruwos in nununkekowos, ac nga fah sa in orek loh lainulos su inutnut, oayapa mwet kosro, ac elos su orek loh kikiap, ac elos su kutasrik ke molin mwet orekma lalos, ac elos su oru koluk nu sin katinmas, tulik mukaimtal, ac mwetsac — aok, lainulos nukewa su tia sunakinyu.
6 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
“Nga pa LEUM GOD, ac nga tia ekyek. Ouinge kowos, fwilin tulik natul Jacob, kowos soenna tuhlac na pwaye.
7 Even from the days of your fathers ye have gone away from my ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return to me, and I will return to you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, In what shall we return?
Kowos oapana mwet matu lowos meet liki kowos, su forla liki ma sap luk ac tia liyaung. Foloko nu yuruk, ac nga fah folokot nu yuruwos. Na kowos siyuk, ‘Mea kut ac enenu in oru tuh kut in folokot nu yurum?’
8 Will a man rob God? yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, In what have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Nga siyuk suwos, ya fal sie mwet in kutasrik nu sin God? Kalem lah tiana fal, a kowos orek kutasrik nu sik. Na kowos siyuk, ‘Kut kutasriki kom fuka?’ Ke mwe sang ac sie tafu singoul lowos.
9 Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation.
Sie selnga oan fowos nukewa, mweyen mutunfacl se inge nufon kutasrik nu sik.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now with this, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
Use nufon lupan sie tafu singoul lowos nu ke nien filma in Tempul, tuh in pus mwe mongo we. Srikeyu ac kowos fah liye ke nga ac ikasla winto inkusrao ac ukuiya nu fowos kain in ma wo nukewa, in arulana yolyak nu suwos.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
Nga fah tia lela wet srisrik in kunausla sacn sunowos, ac ima in grape lowos uh ac fah rukruk ke fahko.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
Na mutunfacl nukewa fah pangon kowos mwet insewowo, mweyen facl suwos uh ac fah sie acn wowo in muta we.”
13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken [so much] against thee?
LEUM GOD El fahk, “Kowos fahk kas in akkolukyeyu. A kowos siyuk, ‘Mea kut fahk keim?’
14 Ye have said, It [is] vain to serve God: and what profit [is it] that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
Kowos fahk mu, ‘Wangin sripa kut in orekma nu sin God. Mwe mea kut in oru ma El fahk uh, ku in akkalemye nu sin LEUM GOD Kulana lah kut asor ke ma kut oru uh?
15 And now we call the proud happy; yes, they that work wickedness are set up; even [they that] tempt God are delivered.
Ke liye lasr uh, mwet filang uh pa insewowo. Mwet koluk uh elos kapkapak, ac ke elos srike muteng lun God ke orekma koluk lalos, wanginna ma sikyak nu selos.’”
16 Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Na mwet su akfulatye LEUM GOD elos asramsrami, ac LEUM GOD El lipsre ac lohng ma elos fahk uh. Na simisyukla inen mwet nukewa su sangeng sin LEUM GOD ac akfulatyal, ke sie book in esmakin ye mutal.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
LEUM GOD Kulana El fahk, “Elos inge ac fah mwet luk. In len se ke nga ac oru nununku luk, elos ac fah ma luk sifacna. Nga ac fah pakomutalos oana ke sie papa el pakomuta sie wen su aksol.
18 Then shall ye return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Na mwet luk elos ac fah sifilpa liye lah oasr ekla inmasrlon ma ac sikyak nu sin mwet suwoswos ac mwet koluk, ac nu selos su kulansupweyu ac elos su tia.”
