Luke 18
1 And he spoke a parable to them [to this end], that men ought always [to] pray, and not to faint;
১নিৰাশ নোহোৱাকৈ তেওঁলোকে যেন সকলো সময়তে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা উচিত, এই বিষয়ে বুজি পাবৰ কাৰণে যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক এই দৃষ্টান্ত দি ক’লে,
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, who feared not God, neither regarded man.
২“এখন নগৰত ঈশ্বৰলৈ ভয় নকৰা, মানুহকো নমনা, এনে এজন বিচাৰক আছিল।
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.
৩সেই নগৰত এজনী বাৰী মহিলাও আছিল; তেওঁ সেই বিচাৰকৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি নিবেদন কৰিলে যে, ‘অন্যায়ৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ কৰি মোৰ বিপক্ষৰ পৰা মোক উদ্ধাৰ কৰক’।
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
৪তাতে তেওঁ কিছু দিনলৈ সন্মত নহ’ল; কিন্তু পাছত নিজৰ মনতে ক’লে, ‘মই যদিও ঈশ্বৰক ভয় নকৰোঁ, আৰু মানুহকো নামানো,
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
৫তথাপি এই বিধৱা গৰাকীয়ে মোক বাৰে বাৰে আমনি দিয়াৰ কাৰণে, অন্যায়ৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ কৰি উদ্ধাৰ কৰিম; নহলে তেওঁ পুণৰ আহি মোক আমনি দিব’।”
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
৬পাছত প্ৰভুৱে ক’লে, “সেই অধাৰ্মিক বিচাৰকে কি কয়, ‘শুনা।
7 And will not God avenge his own elect, who cry day and night to him, though he beareth long with them?
৭তেনেহলে ঈশ্বৰলৈ দিনে-ৰাতিয়ে কাকূতি কৰা তেওঁৰ যি মনোনীত লোকৰ ভালৰ অৰ্থে তেওঁ শত্ৰুক শাস্তি দিবলৈ পলম কৰে, তেওঁ অন্যায়ৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ কৰি সেই লোকক উদ্ধাৰ নকৰিব নে?’
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, will he find faith on the earth?
৮মই তোমালোকক কওঁ, তেওঁ সোনকালে আহিব আৰু অন্যায়ৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ কৰি তেওঁলোকক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিব। তথাপি যেতিয়া মানুহৰ পুত্ৰ আহিব, তেতিয়া পৃথিৱীত বিশ্বাস পাব নে?”
9 And he spoke this parable to certain who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
৯ইয়াৰ পাছত, নিজকে ধাৰ্মিক বুলি ভবা আৰু আন লোকক হেয়জ্ঞান কৰা, এনে কিছুমান লোকৰ উদ্দেশ্যে তেওঁ এই দৃষ্টান্ত দিলে।
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
১০“দুজন মানুহে মন্দিৰত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিবলৈ গ’ল; তেওঁলোকৰ এজন ফৰীচী, আন জন কৰ সংগ্রহকৰী।
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men [are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
১১ফৰীচীয়ে থিয় হৈ নিজৰ মতে এইদৰে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলে, ‘হে ঈশ্বৰ, মই আন মানুহৰ নিচিনা অপহাৰক, অন্যায়কাৰী, ব্যভিচাৰী, নাইবা এই কৰ সংগ্রহকাৰী জনৰ নিচিনাও নহওঁ, এই কাৰণে মই তোমাৰ স্তুতি কৰোঁ।
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
১২মই সপ্তাহত দুবাৰ লঘোন দিওঁ; আৰু মোৰ সকলো আয়ৰ দশম ভাগ দান কৰোঁ’।
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as [his] eyes to heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
১৩কিন্তু কৰ সংগ্রহকাৰী সকলে আতৰত থিয় হৈ, স্বৰ্গৰ ফালে চকু তুলিবলৈ সাহস নকৰিলে, কিন্তু নিজৰ হিয়া ভুকুৱাই ভুকুৱাই ক’লে, ‘হে ঈশ্বৰ, মই এজন পাপী; মোলৈ প্ৰসন্ন হৈ দয়া কৰক’।
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified [rather] than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
১৪মই তোমালোকক কওঁ, সেই ব্যক্তি জন ধাৰ্মিক বুলি প্ৰমাণিত নহব, কিন্তু এই জনহে প্ৰমাণিত হৈ নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ গ’ল; কিয়নো যি কোনোৱে নিজকে নিজে বৰ বুলি মানে, তেওঁক সৰু কৰা হ’ব; কিন্তু যি কোনোৱে নিজকে নিজে সৰু বুলি মানে, তেওঁক বৰ কৰা হ’ব।”
15 And they brought to him also infants, that he would touch them: but when [his] disciples saw [it], they rebuked them.
১৫এদিন লোক সকলে নিজ নিজ শিশুবোৰক যীচুৱে চুই আশীৰ্বাদ কৰিবৰ কাৰণে তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আনিলে; কিন্তু শিষ্য সকলে এইবোৰ দেখি তেওঁলোকক ডবিয়ালে।
16 But Jesus called them [to him], and said, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
১৬তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ওচৰলৈ মাতি ক’লে, “শিশুবোৰক মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিবলৈ দিয়া, নিষেধ নকৰিবা: কিয়নো ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্য এনেকুৱা লোকৰ বাবে।”
17 Verily I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall in no wise enter into it.
১৭এই দৃষ্টান্তটো দিয়াৰ পাছত তেওঁ ক’লে, “তোমালোকক স্বৰূপকৈ কওঁ, যি কোনোৱে শিশুবোৰৰ নিচিনা হৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্য গ্ৰহণ নকৰে, তেওঁ তাত কোনোমতে সোমাবলৈ নাপাব।”
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
১৮এজন ধনী শাসনকর্তাই সুধিলে, “হে সৎ গুৰু, মই কি কৰি অনন্ত জীৱনৰ অধিকাৰী হ’ম?” (aiōnios g166)
19 And Jesus said to him, Why callest thou me good? none [is] good, save one, [that is] God.
১৯যীচুৱে ক’লে, “কিয় মোক সৎ বুলি কৈছা? ঈশ্বৰৰ বাহিৰে সৎ কোনো নাই।
20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother.
২০তুমি ঈশ্বৰৰ আজ্ঞাবোৰ জানা নে, ব্যভিচাৰ নকৰিবা, নৰ-বধ নকৰিবা, চুৰ নকৰিবা, মিছা সাক্ষ্য নিদিবা, তোমাৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃক সন্মান কৰিবা।”
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth.
২১তাতে শাসনকর্তাই ক’লে, “ডেকা কালৰে পৰা মই এই সকলোবোৰ পালন কৰি আছোঁ।”
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said to him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
২২যীচুৱে এই কথা শুনি তেওঁক ক’লে, “এতিয়াও এটা বিষয়ত তোমাৰ ক্ৰটি আছে; তোমাৰ যি যি আছে, আটাইবোৰ বেছি দৰিদ্ৰ সকলক বিলাই দিয়া, তেতিয়াহে স্বৰ্গত তোমাৰ ধন হব; তাৰ পাছত মোৰ পাছে পাছে আহা৷”
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
২৩তেওঁ যেতিয়া এই কথা শুনিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ শোকাতুৰ হ’ল, কিয়নো তেওঁ বৰ ধনী আছিল।
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly will they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
২৪তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁক দেখি ক’লে, “ধনৱন্ত লোক সকল ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যত সোমোৱা কেনে দুঃসাধ্য!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
২৫কিয়নো ধনী লোক ‘ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যত’ সোমোৱাতকৈ, বেজীৰ বিন্ধাৰে উট সৰকি যোৱাই সহজ।”
26 And they that heard [it], said, Who then can be saved?
২৬যি সকল লোকে এই কথা শুনিলে তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “তেনেহলে কোনে পৰিত্ৰাণ পাব?”
27 Then he said, The things which are impossible with men, are possible with God.
২৭যীচুৱে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “যিবোৰ কথা মানুহৰ দেখাত অসাধ্য, সেইবোৰ কর্ম ঈশ্বৰৰ দৃষ্টিত সাধ্য।”
28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
২৮তেতিয়া পিতৰে ক’লে, “চাওক, আমি নিজৰ সকলো এৰি আপোনাৰ পাছে পাছে আহিলোঁ।”
29 And he said to them, Verily I say to you, there is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children for the sake of the kingdom of God,
২৯তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “মই তোমালোকক স্বৰূপকৈ কওঁ, ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যৰ কাৰণে যি কোনোৱে ঘৰ, তিৰোতা, ভায়েক, মাক-বাপেক, বা সন্তান সকলক ত্যাগ কৰে,
31 Then he took the twelve, and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
৩১পাছত তেওঁ বাৰ জন পাঁচনিক লগত লৈ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “চোৱা, আমি যিৰূচালেমলৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিছোঁ; তাতে ভাববাদী সকলৰ দ্বাৰাই যি যি লিখা আছে, সেই সকলো কথা মানুহৰ পুত্ৰত সিদ্ধ হ’ব।
32 For he will be delivered to the Gentiles, and will be mocked, and spitefully treated, and spitted on;
৩২কিয়নো অনা-ইহুদী লোকৰ হাতত তেওঁক শোধাই দিয়া হ’ব; তাতে মানুহে তেওঁক বিদ্রপ কৰিব, অপমান কৰিব, তেওঁৰ গাত থুই পেলাব,
33 And they will scourge [him], and put him to death: and the third day he will rise again.
৩৩আৰু চাবুকেৰে কোবাই তেওঁক বধ কৰিব; পাছত তিনি দিনৰ দিনা তেওঁ আকৌ উঠিব।”
34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
৩৪কিন্তু এই কথা তেওঁ কিয় ক’লে, সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁলোকে একো নুবুজিলে; তেওঁলোকৰ পৰা এই বাক্য গোপন কৰি ৰখাৰ বাবে, যি বাক্য কোৱা হ’ল; সেই বাক্যৰ বিষয়ে তেওঁলোকে একো নাজানিলে।
35 And it came to pass, that as he had come nigh to Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging;
৩৫পাছত তেওঁ যিৰীহোৰ ওচৰ পোৱাত, এজন অন্ধই বাটৰ কাষত বহি ভিক্ষা কৰি অাছিল।
36 And hearing the multitude passing by, he asked what it meant.
৩৬তাতে মানুহৰ দল এটাই সেই বাটেদি যোৱা শুনি, তেওঁ তাৰ কাৰণ সুধিলে।
37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
৩৭তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক ক’লে, “নাচৰতীয়া যীচু এই বাটেদি গৈ আছে।”
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, [thou] son of David, have mercy on me.
৩৮তেতিয়া তেওঁ ৰিঙিয়াই ক’লে, “হে যীচু, দায়ুদৰ সন্তান, মোক দয়া কৰক।”
39 And they who went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, [Thou] son of David, have mercy on me.
৩৯তাতে তেওঁক মনে মনে থাকিবৰ বাবে আগে আগে যোৱা মানুহবোৰে আহি তেওঁক ডবিয়ালে; কিন্তু তেওঁ তেতিয়া বেচিকৈ আটাহ পাৰি ক’লে, “হে দায়ুদৰ সন্তান, মোক দয়া কৰক।”
40 And Jesus stood and commanded him to be brought to him: and when he had come near, he asked him,
৪০তেতিয়া যীচু থমকি ৰ’ল আৰু তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ মানুহ জনক আনিবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিলে।
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do to thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
৪১পাছত তেওঁ ওচৰলৈ অহাত, যীচুৱে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “মই কি কৰাটো তোমাৰ ইচ্ছা?” তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, মই যেন দেখিবলৈ পাওঁ।”
42 And Jesus said to him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
৪২তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি দৃষ্টি পোৱা; তোমাৰ বিশ্বাসেই তোমাক ৰক্ষা কৰিলে।”
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw [it], gave praise to God.
৪৩সেই সময়ত তেওঁ দৃষ্টি পালে আৰু ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰি তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে গ’ল; মানুহবোৰে এই কার্য দেখা পাই ঈশ্বৰৰ স্তুতি কৰিব ধৰিলে।
