Lamentations 5
1 Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.

2 Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.

3 We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.

4 We have drank our water for money; our wood is sold to us.
Kut enenu in moli kof nimasr; Ac kut moli pac etong nu ke enenu lasr.
5 Our necks [are] under persecution: we labor, [and] have no rest.
Kumakinyuk kut upa, oana donkey ku camel; Kut totola, a tia lela nu sesr in mongla.
6 We have given the hand [to] the Egyptians, [and to] the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.

7 Our fathers have sinned, [and are] not; and we have borne their iniquities.

8 Servants have ruled over us: [there is] none that doth deliver [us] out of their hand.

9 We procured our bread with [the peril of] our lives, because of the sword of the wilderness.
Mwet akmas oalik yen nukewa; Kut pilesrala sensen lasr ke kut ac suk mongo nasr.
10 Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.
Masrinsral lasr oru manosr folla ke fever, Nwe ke na kulun manosr fol oana funyu se.
11 They ravished the women in Zion, [and] the maids in the cities of Judah.
Sruinkuiyuk mutan kiasr Fineol Zion sifacna, Oayapa mutan fusr natusr in siti srisrik nukewa in acn Judah.
12 Princes were hanged by their hand: the faces of elders were not honored.
Mwet kol lasr utukla ac loksakeyuki; Ac mwet matu lasr tiana akfulatyeyuk.
13 They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.
Mukul fusr lasr akkohsyeyuk in ilil wheat, Ac tulik srisrik natusr sringelik ye kahp in etong uh.
14 The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their music.
Mwet matu elos tila muta ke mutunpot in siti uh, Ac mwet fusr elos tila orek on.
15 The joy of our heart hath ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
Wanginla engan ke moul lasr; Pacl in tacn lasr uh ekla pacl in asor.
16 The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe to us, that we have sinned!
Wangin ma lula ke ma nukewa kut yukin meet ah. Kut orekma koluk, ac inge kut muta in ongoiya lulap.
17 For this our heart is faint; for these [things] our eyes are dim.
Kut maskunak nunak lun insiasr Ac tia ku in liye wo ke sroninmutasr,
18 Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
Mweyen Eol Zion el mukelana oan ac wanginla mwet we, Ac kosro jackal lemnak uh tiltil fin mahnum in acn we.
19 Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.
Tusruktu kom, O LEUM GOD, kom tokosra ma pahtpat, Ac kom fah leumi nwe ke saflaiyen pacl uh.
20 Why dost thou forget us for ever, [and] forsake us so long time?
Efu ku kom siskutla arulana pahtlac? Ya kom ac tiana sifilpa esam kut?
21 Turn thou us to thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
Folokinkutwot nu yurum, LEUM GOD! Folokinkutwot! Folokonak wolana lasr meet ah.
22 But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.
Ku fuka, kom siskutla na nwe tok? Ya wanginna saflaiyen kasrkusrak lom uh?
