Judges 11
1 Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, and he [was] the son of a harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.
၁ဂိလဒ် အမျိုးသားယေဖသ သည် ခွန်အားကြီး သော သူရဲ ဖြစ် ၏။ သူ့ အဘ ကား ဂိလဒ် ၊ သူ့အမိကား ပြည်တန်ဆာ ဖြစ်၏။
2 And Gilead's wife bore him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said to him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou [art] the son of a strange woman.
၂ဂိလဒ် ၏မယား ဘွားမြင် သော သား တို့သည် ကြီး သောအခါ ၊ သင် သည် အခြား တပါးသော မိန်းမ ၏ သား ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် ၊ ငါ တို့ အဆွေအမျိုး နှင့်အတူအမွေ မ ခံရဟု ယေဖသ ကို ဆို ၍ နှင်ထုတ် လေ၏။
3 Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and [they] went out with him.
၃ထိုအခါ ယေဖသ သည် ညီ တို့ဆီမှ ထွက်သွား ၍ တောဘ ပြည် ၌ နေ သဖြင့် ၊ လျှပ်ပေါ် သောသူ တို့သည် သူ့ ထံမှာ စည်းဝေး ၍ သူ့ နောက် ၌ လိုက် ကြ၏။
4 And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.
၄နောက်တဖန် အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသား တို့သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို စစ်တိုက် ကြ၏။
5 And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah out of the land of Tob:
၅ထိုသို့ အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသား တို့သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို စစ်တိုက် သောအခါ ၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့သည် ယေဖသ ကို တောဘ ပြည် မှ ခေါ် ခြင်းငှါ သွား ၍၊
6 And they said to Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.
၆ငါတို့သည် အမ္မုန် လူတို့ကို စစ်တိုက် ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ လာ ၍ ငါ တို့၏ ဗိုလ်ချုပ် မင်း လုပ် ပါဟု မှာ လိုက်သော်၊
7 And Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, Did ye not hate me, and expel me from my father's house; and why have ye come to me now when ye are in distress?
၇ယေဖသ က၊ သင် တို့သည် ငါ့ ကို မုန်း ၍ ငါ့ အဘ အိမ် မှ နှင်ထုတ် သည်မဟုတ် လော။ ယခု ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သောအခါ ၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငါ့ ထံ သို့လာ ကြသနည်းဟု ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့အား ပြောဆို ၏။
8 And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
၈ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့ကလည်း ၊ ထိုကြောင့် ငါတို့သည် ယခု သင့် ထံ သို့ပြန် လာပါ၏။ ငါ တို့နှင့်အတူ ကြွ ၍ အမ္မုန် လူတို့ကို စစ်တိုက် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သား အပေါင်း တို့၏ အထွဋ် လုပ် ပါဟု ယေဖသ အား တောင်းပန် ပြန်သော်၊
9 And Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head?
၉ယေဖသ က၊ အမ္မုန် လူတို့ကို စစ်တိုက် စေခြင်းငှါ သင် တို့သည် ငါ့ ကို ပြန် ပို့၍ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူ တို့ကို ငါ့ ရှေ့ မှာ အပ် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ငါ သည် သင် တို့အထွဋ် ဖြစ် ရသောအခွင့်ကိုပေးမည်လောဟု ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့အား မေး လေသော်၊
10 And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, The LORD be a witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.
၁၀ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့က၊ သင်ပြောသော စကား အတိုင်း ငါ တို့ မ ပြု လျှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင်နှင့် ငါတို့စပ်ကြား ၌ သက်သေ ဖြစ် တော်မူပါစေသောဟု ယေဖသ အား ပြန်ပြော ကြ၏။
11 Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.
၁၁ထိုအခါ ယေဖသ သည် ဂိလဒ် ပြည်သားအသက်ကြီး သူတို့နှင့် သွား ၍ သူ့ ကို လူ များတို့၏ အထွဋ် ဗိုလ်ချုပ် မင်းအရာ၌ ခန့် ထားကြ၏။ ယေဖသ သည်လည်း ထိုစကား အလုံးစုံ တို့ကို မိဇပါ မြို့မှာ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ပြန်ကြား လျှောက်ထား၏။
12 And Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou hast come against me to fight in my land?
၁၂ထိုနောက်မှ ယေဖသ သည်၊ အမ္မုန် ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံ သို့သံတမန် ကို စေလွှတ် ၍၊ သင် သည် ငါ နှင့် အဘယ်သို့ ဆိုင်သနည်း။ ငါ့ နိုင်ငံ ၌ စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ငါ့ ကို ရန်ပြု သနည်းဟုမေး သော်၊
13 And the king of the children of Ammon answered to the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came out of Egypt, from Arnon even to Jabbok, and to Jordan: now therefore restore those [lands] again peaceably.
၁၃အမ္မုန် ရှင်ဘုရင် က၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ လာ သောအခါ ၊ ငါ့ မြေ ကို အာနုန် မြစ်မှစ၍ ယဗ္ဗုတ် ချောင်း၊ ယော်ဒန် မြစ်တိုင်အောင် လု ၍ယူသောကြောင့် ငါပြု၏။ ထို မြေကို ယခု အသင့်အတင့် ပြန် ပေးပါဟု ယေဖသ ၏သံတမန် အား ပြန်ပြော ၏။
14 And Jephthah sent messengers again to the king of the children of Ammon:
၁၄တဖန် ယေဖသ သည် သံတမန် ကို အမ္မုန် ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံ သို့စေလွှတ် ၍၊
15 And said to him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon:
၁၅ယေဖသ မှာ လိုက်သည်ကား၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် မောဘ မြေ ၊ အမ္မုန် မြေ ကို လု ယူသည်မဟုတ်။
16 But when Israel came up from Egypt, and walked through the wilderness to the Red sea, and came to Kadesh;
၁၆ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ လာ ၍ ဧဒုံ ပင်လယ် အနား ၊ တော ၌ လှည့်လည် သဖြင့် ကာဒေရှ ရွာသို့ ရောက် သောအခါ၊
17 Then Israel sent messengers to the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken [to it]. And in like manner they sent to the king of Moab; but he would not [consent]. And Israel abode in Kadesh.
၁၇ဧဒုံ ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံ သို့သံတမန် ကို စေလွှတ် ၍ ၊ မင်းကြီး ပြည် ကို ရှောက်သွား ပါရစေဟု အခွင့်တောင်းသော်လည်း ၊ ဧဒုံ ရှင်ဘုရင် သည် နား မ ထောင်။ ထိုနည်းတူ မောဘ ရှင် ဘုရင်ထံ သို့စေလွှတ် ၍၊ သူသည်လည်း အခွင့် မ ပေးသောကြောင့် ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် ကာဒေရှရွာ၌ နေ ရကြ၏။
18 Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon [was] the border of Moab.
၁၈နောက်တဖန်တော ကို ရှောက် လျက် ၊ ဧဒုံ ပြည် နှင့် မောဘ ပြည် ကို ဝိုင်း ၍ မောဘ ပြည် အရှေ့ ဘက်သို့ ရောက် ပြီးမှ အာနုန် မြစ်တဘက် ၌ တပ်ချ ကြ၏။ ထိုအခါ မောဘ ပြည်နယ် အတွင်းသို့ မ ဝင် ကြ။ အာနုန် မြစ်သည် မောဘ ပြည်အပိုင်းအခြား ဖြစ်သတည်း။
19 And Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said to him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land to my place.
၁၉တဖန် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် အာမောရိ အမျိုး ဟေရှဘုန် ရှင်ဘုရင် ရှိဟုန် ထံ သို့သံတမန် ကို စေလွှတ် ၍ ၊ ငါ တို့နေရာ သို့ ရောက်အံ့သောငှါမင်းကြီး ပြည် ကို ရှောက်သွား ပါရစေဟု အခွင့်တောင်း သော်လည်း၊
20 But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon collected all his people, and encamped in Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
၂၀ရှိဟုန် သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို မ ယုံ ၊ မိမိ ပြည် ကို ရှောက်သွား စေခြင်းငှါ အခွင့်မပေးသည်သာမက၊ မိမိ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို စုဝေး စေ၍ ၊ ယာဟတ် မြို့၌ တပ်ချ ပြီးလျှင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို စစ်တိုက် လေ၏။
21 And the LORD God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.
၂၁ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည်၊ ရှိဟုန် မင်းနှင့်တကွ သူ ၏လူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုးလက် ၌ အပ် တော်မူ၍ ၊ သူ တို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ သဖြင့် ထို ပြည် ၌နေ သောအာမောရိ လူတို့၏ မြေ တရှောက်လုံး ကို သိမ်းယူ ကြ၏။
22 And they possessed all the borders of the Amorites, from Arnon even to Jabbok, and from the wilderness even to Jordan.
၂၂အာမောရိ ပြည် နယ်မြေ တရှောက်လုံး ကို အာနုန် မြစ်မှစ၍ ယဗ္ဗုတ် ချောင်းတိုင်အောင် ၎င်း ၊ တော မှစ၍ ယော်ဒန် မြစ်တိုင်အောင် ၎င်း သိမ်းယူ ကြ၏။
23 So now the LORD God of Israel hath dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldst thou possess it?
၂၃ထိုသို့ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည်၊ အာမောရိ လူတို့ကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ရှေ့ မှာ သူတို့ပြည်ကို နှုတ် တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ သင် သည် သိမ်းယူ ရမည်လော။
24 Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the LORD our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess.
၂၄သင် ၏ဘုရား ခေမုရှ အပိုင်ပေး သော မြေကို သင်သိမ်းယူ ရသည်မဟုတ် လော။ ထိုအတူ ငါ တို့ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား နှင်ထုတ် တော်မူသောသူတို့၏မြေကို ငါ တို့သည် သိမ်းယူ ရ၏။
25 And now [art] thou any thing better than Balak the son of Zippor king of Moab? did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever fight against them,
၂၅သင် သည် မောဘ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဇိဖော် မင်း၏သား ဗာလက် ထက် သာ၍ မြတ်သလော။ သူသည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးနှင့် ရန်တွေ့ ဘူးသလော။ စစ်တိုက် ဘူးသလော။
26 While Israel dwelt in Heshbon and her towns, and in Aroer and her towns, and in all the cities that [are] along by the borders of Arnon, three hundred years? why therefore did ye not recover [them] within that time?
၂၆ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် ဟေရှဘုန် မြို့ ရွာတို့၌ ၎င်း ၊ အာရော် မြို့ ရွာတို့၌ ၎င်း ၊ အာနုန် မြစ် နားမှာ ရှိသော မြို့ ရွာအလုံးစုံ တို့၌၎င်း အနှစ် သုံး ရာ ပတ်လုံးနေစဉ်တွင် အဘယ်ကြောင့် သင်တို့သည် မ ရ ပြန်သနည်း။
27 Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: the LORD the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon.
၂၇သင့် ကို ငါမ ပြစ်မှား။ သင် သည် စစ်တိုက် ၍ ငါ့ ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် တရားသူကြီးလုပ်၍ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား၊ အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသားတို့ စပ်ကြား မှာ ယနေ့ တရားစီရင် ဆုံးဖြတ် တော်မူပါစေသောဟု မှာလိုက် လေ၏။
28 But, the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not to the words of Jephthah which he sent him.
၂၈သို့သော်လည်း ယေဖသ မှာ လိုက်သော စကား ကို အမ္မုန် ရှင်ဘုရင် သည် နား မ ထောင်ဘဲနေ၏။
29 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over [to] the children of Ammon.
၂၉ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည် ယေဖသ အပေါ် မှာ သက်ရောက် ၍ ၊ သူသည် ဂိလဒ် ပြည်၊ မနာရှေ ပြည်ကို ရှောက် လျက် ဂိလဒ် ပြည် မိဇပါ မြို့ကို လွန် ၍ အမ္မုန် လူတို့ရှိရာသို့ ချီ သွားလေ၏။
30 And Jephthah vowed a vow to the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into my hands,
၃၀ယေဖသ သည် ထာဝရဘုရား အား သစ္စာ ဂတိထားလျက် ၊ အကယ်၍ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသားတို့ကို အကျွန်ုပ် လက် ၌ အပ် တော်မူလျှင်၊
31 Then it shall be, that whatever cometh out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD'S, and I will offer it for a burnt-offering.
၃၁အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသားတို့ရှိရာမှ ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ ပြန်လာ သောအခါ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ခရီး ဦးကြိုပြုအံ့သောငှါ အကျွန်ုပ် အိမ် တံခါးဝ မှ ထွက် လာသောသူ မည်သည်ကို ထာဝရဘုရား အား အမှန်ဆက်သ၍ မီးရှို့ ရာယဇ်ပူဇော် ပါမည်ဟု သစ္စာဂတိထားပြီးမှ၊
32 So Jephthah passed over to the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands.
၃၂အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသားတို့ကို တိုက် ခြင်းငှါ ချီ သွား၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူ တို့ကို ယေဖသ လက် ၌ အပ် တော်မူသဖြင့်၊
33 And he smote them from Aroer even till thou comest to Minnith, [even] twenty cities, and to the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.
၃၃အာရော် မြို့မှစ၍ မိန္နိတ် မြို့တိုင်အောင် ၎င်း ၊ အာဗေလ ခေရမိမ်မြို့တိုင်အောင် ၎င်း ၊ မြို့ နှစ်ဆယ် တို့ကို ကြီးစွာ သောလုပ်ကြံ ခြင်းအားဖြင့် သူ တို့ကို တိုက်သတ် လေ၏။ ထိုသို့ အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့ ရှေ့ မှာ ရှုံး ရကြ၏။
34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh to his house, and behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she [was his] only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.
၃၄ယေဖသ သည် မိဇပါ မြို့ မိမိ အိမ် သို့ ရောက် လာသောအခါ ၊ မိမိ သမီး သည် ပတ်သာ တီးလျက် ၊ က လျက် ခရီး ဦးကြိုပြုအံ့သောငှါ ထွက် လာ၏။ သူ သည် တယောက် တည်းသော သမီးဖြစ်၍၊ သူ မှတပါး သား သမီး မ ရှိ။
35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth to the LORD, and I cannot go back.
၃၅ယေဖသသည် သူ့ ကို မြင် လျှင် ၊ မိမိ အဝတ် ကို ဆုတ် ၍ ၊ အို ငါ့ သမီး ၊ သင် သည် ငါ့ ကို အလွန်နှိမ့်ချ ပြီ တကား။ ငါ့ ကို နှောင့်ရှက် သော သူတယောက်ဖြစ် ပါသည်တကား။ ထာဝရဘုရား အား ငါ လျှောက် ထားပြီ။ နှုတ် ရသောအခွင့်မ ရှိ ဟု ဆို သော်၊
36 And she said to him, My father, [if] thou hast opened thy mouth to the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thy enemies, [even] of the children of Ammon.
၃၆သမီးက၊ ခမည်းတော် သည် ထာဝရဘုရား အား လျှောက် ထားလျှင်၊ လျှောက် ထားသည်အတိုင်း ကျွန်မ ၌ ပြု ပါ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ခမည်းတော် ၏ရန်သူ အမ္မုန် အမျိုးသားတို့၌ ခမည်းတော်၏စိတ်ပြေစေခြင်းငှါအပြစ် ပေး တော်မူပြီ။
37 And she said to her father, Let this thing be done for me: Let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.
၃၇သို့ရာတွင်ကျွန်မ သည် အပေါင်းအဘော် တို့နှင့်တကွ တောင်ရိုး ပေါ် မှာ လှည့်လည် ၍ ၊ ကျွန်မ ၏ အပျို ကညာဖြစ်ခြင်းကို ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းရမည်အကြောင်း၊ နှစ် လ ပတ်လုံးအလွတ် နေပါရစေဟု အဘ အား အခွင့်တောင်း သည်အတိုင်း၊
38 And he said, Go. And he sent her away [for] two months: and she went with her companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains.
၃၈အဘက၊ သွား လေတော့ဟုဆို လျက် နှစ် လ ကို ချိန်းချက်၍ လွှတ် လိုက်လျှင် ၊ အပေါင်းအဘော် တို့နှင့်တကွ သွား ၍ တောင်ရိုး ပေါ် မှာ မိမိ အပျို ကညာဖြစ်ခြင်းကို ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းလေ၏။
39 And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned to her father, who did with her [according] to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel,
၃၉နှစ် လ စေ့ သောအခါ အဘ ထံ သို့ ပြန်လာ ၍ ၊ အဘသည် သစ္စာ ဂတိရှိသည်အတိုင်း ပြု လေ၏။ ထို မိန်းမသည် ယောက်ျား နှင့် မ ဆက်ဆံ သောသူဖြစ်၏။
40 [That] the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.
၄၀ထိုနောက်မှ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသမီး တို့သည်၊ ဂိလဒ် အမျိုးသားယေဖသ ၏သမီး ကြောင့် တနှစ် တနှစ်လျှင် လေး ရက် ပတ်လုံးငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းခြင်းငှါ သွား ရသော ဣသရေလ ထုံးစံ ဓလေ့ဖြစ် လေ၏။
