Joshua 21

1 Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;

Y las cabezas de los padres de los Levitas, vinieron a Eleazar sacerdote, y a Josué hijo de Nun, y a las cabezas de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel:

2 And they spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for our cattle.

Y habláronles en Silo en la tierra de Canaán, diciendo: Jehová mandó por Moisés que nos fuesen dadas villas para habitar, con sus ejidos para nuestras bestias.

3 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.

Entonces los hijos de Israel dieron a los Levitas de sus posesiones, conforme a la palabra de Jehová, estas villas con sus ejidos.

4 And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, [who were] of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

Y salió la suerte por las familias de los Caatitas: y fueron dadas por suerte a los hijos de Aarón sacerdote de los Levitas por la tribu de Judá, por la de Simeón, y por la de Ben-jamín trece villas.

5 And the rest of the children of Kohath [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

Y a los otros hijos de Caat, por las familias de la tribu de Efraím, y de la tribu de Dan, y de la media tribu de Manasés fueron dadas por suerte diez villas.

6 And the children of Gershon [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

Y a los hijos de Gersón, por las familias de la tribu de Isacar, y de la tribu de Aser, y de la tribu de Neftalí, y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán, fueron dadas por suerte trece villas.

7 The children of Merari by their families [had] out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

A los hijos de Merari por sus familias, por la tribu de Rubén, y por la tribu de Gad, y por la tribu de Zabulón fueron dadas doce villas.

8 And the children of Israel gave by lot to the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

Y así dieron los hijos de Israel a los Levitas estas villas con sus ejidos por suerte, como Jehová lo había mandado por Moisés.

9 And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are [here] mentioned by name,

Y de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón dieron estas villas que fueron nombradas:

10 Which the children of Aaron, [being] of the families of the Kohathites, [who were] of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.

Y la primera suerte fue de los hijos de Aarón de la familia de Caat, de los hijos de Leví:

11 And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak (which [city is] Hebron) in the hill -[country] of Judah, with its suburbs round it.

A los cuales dieron a Cariat-arbe, del padre de Enac, esta es Hebrón en el monte de Judá, con sus ejidos por sus al derredores:

12 But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

Mas el campo de aquesta ciudad y sus aldeas dieron a Caleb hijo de Jefone por su posesión.

13 Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest, Hebron with its suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with its suburbs,

Y a los hijos de Aarón sacerdote dieron la ciudad de refugio para los homicidas; es a saber, a Hebrón con sus ejidos, y a Lebna con sus ejidos;

14 And Jattir with its suburbs, and Eshtemoa with its suburbs,

Y a Jeter con sus ejidos, a Estemo con sus ejidos,

15 And Holon with its suburbs, and Debir with its suburbs,

A Helón con sus ejidos, a Dabir con sus ejidos,

16 And Ain with its suburbs, and Juttah with its suburbs, [and] Beth-shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.

A Ain con sus ejidos, a Jutta con sus ejidos, a Bet-sames con sus ejidos, nueve villas de estas dos tribus.

17 And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,

Y de la tribu de Ben-jamín, a Gabaón con sus ejidos, a Gabaa con sus ejidos,

18 Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.

A Anatot con sus ejidos, a Almón con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

19 All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, [were] thirteen cities with their suburbs.

Todas las villas de los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón, son trece con sus ejidos.

20 And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites who remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

Mas las familias de los hijos de Caat Levitas, los que quedaban de los hijos de Caat, recibieron por suertes villas de la tribu de Efraím:

21 For they gave them Shechem with its suburbs in mount Ephraim, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with its suburbs,

Y diéronles a Siquem, villa de refugio para los homicidas en el monte de Efraím con sus ejidos, a Gaser con sus ejidos,

22 And Kibzaim with its suburbs, and Beth-horon with its suburbs; four cities.

Y a Cisaim con sus ejidos, y a Bet-orón con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with its suburbs, Gibbethon with its suburbs,

Y de la tribu de Dan, a Eltecó con sus ejidos, a Gabotón con sus ejidos,

24 Ajalon with its suburbs, Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.

A Ayalón con sus ejidos, a Get-remmon con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

25 And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; two cities.

Y de la media tribu de Manasés, a Tanac con sus ejidos, y a Get-remmon con sus ejidos; dos villas.

26 All the cities [were] ten with their suburbs, for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.

Todas las villas de la resta de las familias de los hijos de Caat fueron diez con sus ejidos.

27 And to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the [other] half-tribe of Manasseh [they gave] Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer, and Beesh-terah with its suburbs; two cities.

A los hijos de Gersón de las familias de los Levitas, la villa de refugio para los homicidas de la media tribu de Manasés, que era Gaulón en Basán, con sus ejidos, y a Bosra con sus ejidos; dos villas.

28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with its suburbs, Dabareh with its suburbs,

Y de la tribu de Isacar, a Cesión con sus ejidos, a Daberet con sus ejidos,

29 Jarmuth with its suburbs, En-gannim with its suburbs; four cities.

A Jaramot con sus ejidos, y a Engannim con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,

Y de la tribu de Aser, a Messal con sus ejidos, a Abdón con sus ejidos,

31 Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.

A Jelcat con sus ejidos, a Rohob con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth-dor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.

Y de la tribu de Neftalí, la villa de refugio para los homicidas, Cedes en Galilea con sus ejidos, a Hammot-dor con sus ejidos, y a Cartán con sus ejidos; tres villas.

33 All the cities of the Gershonites, according to their families, [were] thirteen cities with their suburbs.

Todas las villas de los Gersonitas por sus familias fueron trece villas con sus ejidos.

34 And to the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, and Kartah with its suburbs,

Y a las familias de los hijos de Merari, Levitas, que quedaban, de la tribu de Zabulón les fueron dadas Jecnam con sus ejidos, Carta con sus ejidos,

35 Dimnah with its suburbs, Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities.

Danna con sus ejidos, Naalot con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its suburbs, and Jahazah with its suburbs,

Y de la tribu de Rubén, a Bosor con sus edijos, Jahesa con sus ejidos,

37 Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.

Cedmod con sus ejidos, Mefaat con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

38 And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with its suburbs,

De la tribu de Gad, la villa del refugio para los homicidas, Ramot en Galaad con sus ejidos, y Mahanaim con sus ejidos,

39 Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.

Jesebón con sus ejidos, y Jazer con sus ejidos; cuatro villas.

40 So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were [by] their lot twelve cities.

Todas las villas de los hijos de Merari por sus familias, que restaban de las familias de los Levitas fueron por sus suertes doce villas.

41 All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel [were] forty and eight cities with their suburbs.

Y todas las villas de los Levitas en medio de la posesión de los hijos de Israel, fueron cuarenta y ocho villas con sus ejidos.

42 These cities were every one with their suburbs around them. Thus [were] all these cities.

Y estas ciudades estaban apartadas la una de la otra, cada cual con sus ejidos al derredor de ellas; lo cual fue en todas estas ciudades.

43 And the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt in it.

Así dio Jehová a Israel toda la tierra, que había jurado a sus padres de dar; y poseyéronla, y habitaron en ella.

44 And the LORD gave them rest on all sides, according to all that he swore to their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

Y Jehová les dio reposo al derredor, conforme a todo lo que había jurado a sus padres: y nadie de todos sus enemigos les paró delante, mas Jehová entregó en sus manos todos sus enemigos.

45 There failed not aught of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel; all came to pass.

No faltó palabra de todas las buenas palabras que habló Jehová a la casa de Israel, todo se cumplió.
