Job 25

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

時にシユヒ人ビルダデこたへて曰く

2 Dominion and fear [are] with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

神は大權を握りたまふ者 畏るべき者にましまし 高き處に平和を施したまふ

3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

その軍旅數ふることを得んや 其光明なに物をか照さざらん

4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean [that is] born of a woman?

然ば誰か神の前に正義かるべき 婦人の產し者いかでか清かるべき

5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; and the stars are not pure in his sight.

視よ月も輝かず 星も其目には清明ならず

6 How much less man, [that is] a worm; and the son of man, [who is] a worm?

いはんや蛆のごとき人 蟲のごとき人の子をや
