Job 20
1 Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
അപ്പോൾ നാമാത്യനായ സോഫർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു:
2 Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for [this] I make haste.
“എന്റെ അസ്വസ്ഥചിന്തകൾ ഉത്തരം പറയാൻ എന്നെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു കാരണം ഞാൻ അത്രമാത്രം അസ്വസ്ഥനായിരിക്കുന്നു.
3 I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
എന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന ശാസനകൾ ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; എന്റെ വിവേകപൂർവമായ ആത്മാവ് എന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു മറുപടി പറയിക്കുന്നു.
4 Knowest thou [not] this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
“പുരാതനകാലംമുതലേ നടപ്പുള്ള കാര്യം നീ അറിയുന്നില്ലേ, ഭൂമുഖത്ത് മനുഷ്യജാതിയെ ആക്കിയ കാലംമുതലുള്ളവതന്നെ,
5 That the triumphing of the wicked [is] short, and the joy of the hypocrite [but] for a moment?
ദുഷ്ടരുടെ വിജയഭേരി ഹ്രസ്വകാലത്തേക്കേയുള്ളൂ; അഭക്തരുടെ സന്തോഷം ക്ഷണികവുമാണ്.
6 Though his excellence shall mount up to the heavens, and his head reach to the clouds;
അഭക്തരുടെ അഹന്ത ആകാശംവരെ എത്തിയാലും അവരുടെ ശിരസ്സു മേഘങ്ങളെ തൊട്ടുരുമ്മിനിന്നാലും,
7 [Yet] he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they who have seen him shall say, Where [is] he?
തങ്ങളുടെ വിസർജ്യംപോലെ അവർ എന്നേക്കുമായി നാശമടയും; അവരുടെ മുൻപരിചയക്കാർ, ‘അവർ എവിടെ?’ എന്നു ചോദിക്കും.
8 He shall fly away as a dream, and will not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
ഒരു സ്വപ്നംപോലെ അവർ പാറിപ്പോകും; പിന്നീടൊരിക്കലും കാണാൻപറ്റാത്ത വിധത്തിൽത്തന്നെ, ഒരു നിശാദർശനംപോലെ അവർ തുടച്ചുനീക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
9 The eye also [which] saw him shall [see him] no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.
അവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള കണ്ണുകൾ അവരെ പിന്നീടു കാണുകയില്ല; അവർ ആയിരുന്ന ഇടം പിന്നെ അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിയുകയുമില്ല.
10 His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.
അവരുടെ മക്കൾ ദരിദ്രരോട് സഹായം അഭ്യർഥിക്കും; അവരുടെ കൈകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ തങ്ങളുടെ ധനം മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവരും.
11 His bones are full [of the sin] of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.
അവരുടെ അസ്ഥികളിൽ യൗവനതേജസ്സു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അത് അവരോടൊപ്പം മണ്ണടിയും.
12 Though wickedness may be sweet in his mouth, [though] he may hide it under his tongue;
“അധർമം അവരുടെ വായ്ക്കു രുചികരമായിരിക്കുകയും തങ്ങളുടെ നാവിൻകീഴേ അവർ അത് ഒളിച്ചുവെക്കുകയും,
13 [Though] he may spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:
അതിനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാൻ മനസ്സുവരാതെ വായ്ക്കുള്ളിൽത്തന്നെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവെക്കുകയും ചെയ്താലും,
14 [Yet] his food in his bowels is turned, [it is] the gall of asps within him.
അവരുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽ അതു പുളിച്ചുപോകും സർപ്പവിഷമായി അതു പരിണമിക്കും.
15 He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
അവർ വിഴുങ്ങിയ എല്ലാ സമ്പത്തും അവർക്കു ഛർദിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ദൈവം അവരുടെ കുടലിൽനിന്ന് അതെല്ലാം പുറത്തേക്കു വമിപ്പിക്കും.
16 He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.
അവർ സർപ്പവിഷം നുണയും; അണലിയുടെ കടിയേറ്റു മരണമടയും.
17 He shall not see the river, the floods, the brooks of honey and buttermilk.
തേനും വെണ്ണയും ഒഴുകുന്ന നദികളും അരുവികളും അവർക്ക് ആസ്വാദ്യമാകുകയില്ല.
18 That which he labored for shall he restore, and shall not swallow [it]: according to [his] substance [shall] the restitution [be], and he shall not rejoice [in it].
അവർ സമ്പാദിച്ചത് അനുഭവിക്കാതെ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ വ്യാപാരത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള സമ്പാദ്യം അവർ ആസ്വദിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
19 Because he hath oppressed [and] hath forsaken the poor; [because] he hath violently taken away a house which he did not build.
കാരണം, അവർ ദരിദ്രരെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുകയും അനാഥരെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളയുകയും ചെയ്തു; തങ്ങൾ പണിയാത്ത വീട് അവൻ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു.
20 Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.
“അവരുടെ അത്യാഗ്രഹത്തിന് അവസാനം വരികയില്ല; തങ്ങളുടെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങൾക്ക് അവരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയുകയില്ല.
21 There shall none of his food be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.
അവർക്കു വെട്ടിവിഴുങ്ങുന്നതിനായി ഒന്നുംതന്നെ ശേഷിക്കുകയില്ല; അവരുടെ ഐശ്വര്യം നിലനിൽക്കുകയില്ല.
22 In the fullness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
അവരുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയുടെ നിറവിൽ, ദുരിതം അവരെ കീഴ്പ്പെടുത്തും; അതിവ്യഥ പൂർണശക്തിയോടെ അവരുടെമേൽ വീഴും.
23 [When] he is about to fill his belly, [God] shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain [it] upon him while he is eating.
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വയറുനിറയ്ക്കുമ്പോൾ, ദൈവം തന്റെ ക്രോധാഗ്നി അവരിലേക്കു തുറന്നുവിടും അവിടത്തെ പ്രഹരം ഒരു മഴപോലെ അവരുടെമേൽ വർഷിക്കും.
24 He shall flee from the iron weapon, [and] the bow of steel shall strike him through.
ഇരുമ്പായുധത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവർ വഴുതി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം, അപ്പോൾ വെള്ളോട്ടിൻ അസ്ത്രം അവരുടെമേൽ തുളച്ചുകയറും.
25 It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yes, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors [are] upon him.
അത് അവരുടെ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ പിൻഭാഗത്തുകൂടി വലിച്ചൂരപ്പെടും, അതിന്റെ വെട്ടിത്തിളങ്ങുന്ന മുന അവരുടെ കരൾ ഭേദിക്കും. മരണഭീതി അവർക്കുമേൽ വന്നുവീഴും;
26 All darkness [shall be] hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
അവരുടെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങൾക്കായി ഘോരാന്ധകാരം പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. വീശിക്കത്തിക്കാത്ത അഗ്നി അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കും, അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ അവശേഷിച്ചവയെ അതു വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയും.
27 The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
ആകാശം അവരുടെ അനീതി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; ഭൂമി അവർക്കെതിരേ എഴുന്നേൽക്കും.
28 The increase of his house shall depart, [and his goods] shall flow away in the day of his wrath.
പെരുവെള്ളപ്പാച്ചിൽ അവരുടെ ഭവനം ഒഴുക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകും, ദൈവക്രോധദിവസത്തിലെ ആ മഹാപ്രവാഹംതന്നെ.
29 This [is] the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed to him by God.
ഇതു ദുഷ്ടർക്കു ദൈവം കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഓഹരിയും ദൈവം അവർക്കായി നിയമിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഭാഗധേയവുമാണ്.”
