Job 17
1 My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves [are ready] for me.
১মোৰ উশাহ বিকৃত হৈছে, মোৰ দিনৰ অন্ত পৰিছে; মোলৈ মৈদাম যুগুত আছে।
2 [Are there] not mockers with me? and doth not my eye continue in their provocation?
২নিশ্চয়ে ঠাট্টা কৰোঁতাবোৰ মোৰ ওচৰত আছে, আৰু সিহঁতে দিয়া বিৰক্তিবোৰ মোৰ চকুৰ আগত আছে।
3 Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who [is] he [that] will strike hands with me?
৩বিনয় কৰোঁ, তুমি মোৰ নিৰ্দ্দোষীতা প্ৰকাশ কৰাৰ এটা চিন থোৱা; নিজৰ আগত নিজেই মোৰ জামিন হোৱা; আন কোনেও মোৰ জামিন হ’বলৈ স্বীকাৰ কৰিব?
4 For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt [them].
৪কিয়নো তুমি এওঁলোকৰ চিত্ত জ্ঞানৰ পৰা আঁৰ কৰিছা; এই হেতুকে তুমি এওঁলোকক মোক জয় কৰিবলৈ নিদিবা।
5 He that speaketh flattery to [his] friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
৫যিকোনোৱে নিজ বন্ধুক লুটদ্ৰব্য স্বৰূপে সমৰ্পণ কৰে, তেনে বন্ধুৰ সন্তানবোৰৰ চকু অন্ধ হ’ব।
6 He hath made me also a by-word of the people; and in former time I was as a tabret.
৬তেওঁ মোক লোকসকলৰ আগত দৃষ্টান্ত কৰিলে; যাৰ মুখত লোকে থু পেলায়, মই তেনে মানুহ হ’লো।
7 My eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members [are] as a shade.
৭মনৰ বেজাৰত মোৰ চকু নিস্তেজ হ’ল, আৰু মোৰ সকলো অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গ ছাঁৰ তুল্য হ’ল।
8 Upright [men] shall be astonished at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
৮ইয়াতে সৰল আচৰণ কৰোঁতাবোৰে আচৰিত মানিব, আৰু অধৰ্মিৰ বিৰুদ্ধে নিৰ্দ্দোষী জঁকি উঠিব।
9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
৯তথাপি ধাৰ্মিকে নিজ পথত চলি থাকিব; যাৰ হাত শুচি, তাৰ বল ক্ৰমে ক্ৰমে বাঢ়ি থাকিব।
10 But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find [one] wise [man] among you.
১০কিন্তু আহাঁ, তোমালোক সকলোৱে পুনৰায় আৰম্ভ কৰা; আৰু মই তোমালোকৰ মাজত কাকো জ্ঞানী নাপাওঁ।
11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, [even] the thoughts of my heart.
১১মোৰ দিন কেইটা গ’ল, মোৰ অভিপ্ৰায় শেষ হৈছে, এনে কি মোৰ হৃদয়ৰ শুভেচ্ছা জনোৱা হ’ল।
12 They change the night into day: the light [is] short because of darkness.
১২সেই মানুহবোৰ বিদ্ৰূপকাৰী, সিহঁতে ৰাতিক দিনলৈ ৰূপান্তৰিত কৰে, পোহৰ আহিলে সিহঁতে কয়, অন্ধকাৰ ওচৰ চাপি আহিছে।
১৩যদি চিয়োলেই মোৰ ঘৰ হ’ব বুলি মই অপেক্ষা কৰিছোঁ, যদি আন্ধাৰত মোৰ শয্যা পাৰিছোঁ, (Sheol h7585)
14 I have said to corruption, Thou [art] my father: to the worm, [Thou art] my mother, and my sister.
১৪যদি মই গাতক মোৰ পিতৃ, আৰু পোকক, তুমি মোৰ মাতৃ আৰু ভনী বুলি কৈছা,
15 And where [is] now my hope? as for my hope, who will see it?
১৫তেনেহ’লে মোৰ আশা ক’ত? আৰু মোৰ আশাক নো কোনে দেখা পাব?
