Job 16
1 Then Job answered and said,
௧அதற்கு யோபு மறுமொழியாக:
2 I have heard many such things: miserable comforters [are] ye all.
௨“இப்படிப்பட்ட அநேக காரியங்களை நான் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன்; நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் வேதனையுண்டாக்குகிற தேற்றரவாளர்.
3 Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?
௩காற்றைப்போன்ற வார்த்தைகளுக்கு முடிவிராதோ? இப்படி நீ பதில்சொல்ல உனக்குத் துணிவு உண்டானதென்ன?
4 I also could speak as ye [do]: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake my head at you.
௪உங்களைப்போல நானும் பேசமுடியும்; நான் இருக்கும் நிலைமையில் நீங்கள் இருந்தால், நான் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக வார்த்தைகளைக் கோர்த்து, உங்களுக்கு எதிரே என் தலையை ஆட்டவும் முடியும்.
5 [But] I would strengthen you with my mouth and the moving of my lips should assuage [your grief].
௫ஆனாலும் நான் என் வாயினால் உங்களுக்கு தைரியம் சொல்லுவேன், என் உதடுகளின் அசைவு உங்கள் துக்கத்தை ஆற்றும்.
6 Though I speak, my grief is not assuaged: and [though] I forbear, what am I eased?
௬நான் பேசினாலும் என் துக்கம் ஆறாது; நான் பேசாமலிருந்தாலும் எனக்கு என்ன ஆறுதல்?
7 But now he hath made me weary: thou hast made desolate all my company.
௭இப்போது அவர் என்னை சோர்வடையச் செய்தார்; என் குடும்பத்தையெல்லாம் அழித்தீர்.
8 And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, [which] is a witness [against me]: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
௮நீர் என்னைச் குறுகிப்போகச் செய்தது அதற்குச் சாட்சி; என் மெலிவு என்னில் அத்தாட்சியாக நின்று, என் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாக பதில் சொல்லும்.
9 He teareth [me] in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; my enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
௯என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவனுடைய கோபம் என்னைக் காயப்படுத்துகிறது, என் மேல் கோபப்படுகிறான்; என் எதிரி தீய எண்ணத்தோடு என்னைப் பார்க்கிறான்.
10 They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves against me.
௧0எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் தங்கள் வாயை விரிவாகத் திறந்தார்கள்; இழிவாக என்னைக் கன்னத்தில் அடித்தார்கள்; என்னைச் சுற்றிலும் கூட்டங்கூடினார்கள்.
11 God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.
௧௧தேவன் என்னை அநியாயக்காரரிடத்தில் ஒப்படைத்து, துன்மார்க்கரின் கையில் என்னை பிடிபடச் செய்தார்.
12 I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken [me] by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
௧௨நான் சுகமாக வாழ்ந்திருந்தேன்; அவர் என்னை நெருக்கி, என் கழுத்தைப் பிடித்து, என்னை நொறுக்கி, என்னைத் தமக்கு குறியாக நிறுத்தினார்.
13 His archers encompass me; he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.
௧௩அவருடைய வில்லாளர் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டார்கள்; என் சிறுநீரகத்தை விட்டுவிடாமல் பிளந்தார்; என் ஈரலைத் தரையில் ஊற்றிவிட்டார்.
14 He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.
௧௪நொறுக்குதலின்மேல் நொறுக்குதலை என்மேல் வரவைத்தார்; பராக்கிரமசாலியைப்போல என்மேல் பாய்ந்தார்.
15 I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.
௧௫நான் சணல்சேலையைத் தைத்து, என் தோளின்மேல் போர்த்துக்கொண்டேன்; என் மகிமையைப் புழுதியிலே போட்டுவிட்டேன்.
16 My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids [are] the shades of death;
௧௬அழுகிறதினால் என் முகம் அழுக்கடைந்தது; மரண இருள் என் கண் இமைகளின்மேல் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.
17 Not for [any] injustice in my hands: also my prayer [is] pure.
௧௭என் கைகளிலே கொடுமை இல்லாதிருக்கும்போதும், என் ஜெபம் சுத்தமாயிருக்கும்போதும், அப்படியானது.
18 O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.
௧௮பூமியே, என் இரத்தத்தை மூடிப்போடாதே; என் அலறுதலுக்கு மறைவிடம் உண்டாகாதிருப்பதாக.
19 Also now, behold, my witness [is] in heaven, and my record [is] on high.
௧௯இப்போதும் இதோ, என் சாட்சி பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிறது. எனக்குச் சாட்சி சொல்லுகிறவர் உன்னதங்களில் இருக்கிறார்.
20 My friends scorn me: [but] my eye poureth out [tears] to God.
௨0என் நண்பர்கள் என்னை கேலி செய்கிறார்கள்; என் கண் தேவனை நோக்கிக் கண்ணீர் சொரிகிறது.
21 O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man [pleadeth] for his neighbor!
௨௧ஒரு மனிதன் தன் நண்பனுக்காக வழக்காடுகிறதுபோல, தேவனுடன் மனிதனுக்காக வழக்காடுகிறவர் ஒருவர் இருந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்.
22 When a few years are come, then I shall go the way [whence] I shall not return.
௨௨குறுகின வருடங்களுக்கு முடிவு வருகிறது; நான் திரும்பிவராதவழியே போவேன்.
