Job 12

1 And Job answered and said,

൧അതിന് ഇയ്യോബ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞത്:

2 No doubt but ye [are] the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

൨“ഓഹോ, നിങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു വിദ്വജ്ജനം! നിങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചാൽ ജ്ഞാനം മരിക്കും.

3 But I have understanding as well as you; I [am] not inferior to you: yes, who knoweth not such things as these?

൩നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ എനിക്കും ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ട്; നിങ്ങളേക്കാൾ ഞാൻ ഒട്ടും കുറഞ്ഞവനല്ല; ആർക്കാകുന്നു ഇതൊക്കെ അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തത്?

4 I am [as] one mocked by his neighbor, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright [man is] derided.

൪ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ച് ഉത്തരം ലഭിച്ച ഞാൻ എന്റെ സഖിയ്ക്ക് പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു; നീതിമാനും നിഷ്കളങ്കനുമായവൻ തന്നെ പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു.

5 He that is ready to slip with [his] feet [is as] a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

൫വിപത്ത് നിന്ദ്യം എന്ന് സുഖിമാന്റെ വിചാരം; കാൽ ഇടറുന്നവർക്കായി അത് ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth [abundantly].

൬പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങൾ സമാധാനമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ നിർഭയമായ്‌ വസിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ദൈവം എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.

7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

൭മൃഗങ്ങളോട് ചോദിക്കുക; അവ നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോട് ചോദിക്കുക; അവ പറഞ്ഞുതരും;

8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare to thee.

൮അല്ല, ഭൂമിയോട് സംഭാഷിക്കുക; അത് നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യം നിന്നോട് വിവരിക്കും.

9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

൯യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഇത് പ്രർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഇവയെല്ലാംകൊണ്ടും ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തവനാര്?

10 In whose hand [is] the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

൧൦സകലജീവജന്തുക്കളുടെയും പ്രാണനും സകലമനുഷ്യവർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെയും ശ്വാസവും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

11 Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste its food?

൧൧ചെവി വാക്കുകളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അണ്ണാക്ക് ഭക്ഷണം രുചിനോക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

12 With the ancient [is] wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

൧൨വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽ ജ്ഞാനവും വയോധികന്മാരിൽ വിവേകവും ഉണ്ട്.

13 With him [is] wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

൧൩ജ്ഞാനവും ശക്തിയും യഹോവയുടെ പക്കൽ, ആലോചനയും വിവേകവും അവിടുത്തേക്കുള്ളത്.

14 Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

൧൪യഹോവ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആർക്കും പണിതുകൂടാ; അവിടുന്ന് മനുഷ്യനെ ബന്ധിച്ചാൽ ആരും അഴിച്ചുവിടുകയില്ല.

15 Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

൧൫അവിടുന്ന് വെള്ളം തടഞ്ഞുവച്ചാൽ അത് വറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് വിട്ടയച്ചാൽ അത് ഭൂമിയെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

16 With him [is] strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver [are] his.

൧൬ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കൽ ശക്തിയും മഹാജ്ഞാനവും ഉണ്ട്; വഞ്ചിതനും വഞ്ചകനും അവിടുത്തേക്കുള്ളവർ.

17 He leadeth counselors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.

൧൭യഹോവ മന്ത്രിമാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ട് പോകുന്നു; ന്യായാധിപന്മാരെ ഭോഷന്മാരാക്കുന്നു.

18 He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.

൧൮രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അധികാരത്തെ അഴിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അരയ്ക്ക് ബന്ധനം മുറുക്കുന്നു.

19 He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.

൧൯യഹോവ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു; ബലശാലികളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടുകളയുന്നു.

20 He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.

൨൦യഹോവ വിശ്വസ്തന്മാർക്ക് വാക്ക് മുട്ടിക്കുന്നു. വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ബുദ്ധി എടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.

21 He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.

൨൧യഹോവ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേൽ നിന്ദ പകരുന്നു; ബലവാന്മാരുടെ അരക്കച്ച അഴിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

22 He revealeth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth to light the shades of death.

൨൨യഹോവ അഗാധകാര്യങ്ങൾ അന്ധകാരത്തിൽനിന്ന് വെളിച്ചത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു; അന്ധതമസ്സിനെ പ്രകാശത്തിൽ വരുത്തുന്നു.

23 He increaseth nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth nations, and straiteneth them [again].

൨൩യഹോവ ജനതകളെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുകയും നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് ജനതകളെ ചിതറിക്കുകയും കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

24 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness [where there is] no way.

൨൪യഹോവ ഭൂവാസികളിലെ തലവന്മാരിൽ നിന്ന് ധൈര്യം എടുത്തുകളയുന്നു; വഴിയില്ലാത്ത ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്ത് അവരെ ഉഴന്നു നടക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു;

25 They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like [a] drunken [man].

൨൫അവർ വെളിച്ചമില്ലാതെ ഇരുട്ടിൽ തപ്പിനടക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ മദ്യപന്മാരെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ചാഞ്ചാടുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
