Job 11
1 Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
Kaj ekparolis Cofar, la Naamano, kaj diris:
2 Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
Ĉu kontraŭ multe da vortoj oni ne povas doni respondon? Kaj ĉu tiu, kiu multe parolas, estas prava?
3 Should thy falsehoods make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
Ĉu via senenhava parolado devas silentigi la homojn, Por ke vi mokinsultu kaj neniu vin hontigu?
4 For thou hast said, My doctrine [is] pure, and I am clean in thy eyes.
Vi diras: Mia opinio estas ĝusta, Kaj mi estas pura antaŭ Viaj okuloj.
5 But Oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
Sed ho, se Dio ekparolus, Kaj malfermus antaŭ vi Siajn lipojn,
6 And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom, that [they are] double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee [less] than thy iniquity [deserveth].
Kaj malkaŝus antaŭ vi la sekretojn de la saĝo, Kiu havas multoblan forton! Sciu, ke ne ĉiujn viajn pekojn Dio rememoras.
7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty to perfection?
Ĉu vi povas eltrovi la esencon de Dio? Ĉu vi povas plene kompreni la perfektecon de la Plejpotenculo?
8 [It is] as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? (Sheol h7585)
Tio estas pli alta ol la ĉielo; Kion vi povas fari? Tio estas pli profunda ol Ŝeol; Kion vi povas ekscii? (Sheol h7585)
9 The measure of it [is] longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
Pli longa ol la tero estas ĝia mezuro, Kaj pli larĝa ol la maro.
10 If he shall cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
Se Li preteriros, kaj fermos, kaj faros juĝon, Tiam kiu repuŝos Lin?
11 For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider [it]?
Ĉar Li konas la homojn malvirtajn; Li vidas la malbonagojn, kiujn oni ne rimarkas.
12 For vain man would be wise, though man is born [like] a wild ass's colt.
Eĉ vanta homo devas kompreni, Eĉ homo, kiu naskiĝis sovaĝulo.
13 If thou preparest thy heart, and stretchest out thy hands towards him;
Se vi aranĝas vian koron Kaj etendas al Li viajn manojn;
14 If iniquity [is] in thy hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
Se vi forigas la malvirton, kiu estas en via mano, Kaj vi ne permesos al malbonaĵoj resti en via tendo:
15 For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yes, thou shalt be steadfast, and shalt not fear:
Tiam vi povos levi vian vizaĝon sen difekto; Vi estos firma kaj ne timos.
16 Because thou shalt forget [thy] misery, [and] remember [it] as waters [that] pass away:
Tiam vi forgesos mizeron; Vi rememoros ĝin kiel forfluintan akvon.
17 And [thy] age shall be clearer than the noon-day: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
Kaj via vivo leviĝos pli hele ol la tagmezo, La mallumo fariĝos kiel mateno.
18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yes, thou shalt dig [about thee], [and] thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
Kaj vi estos trankvila, ĉar ekzistas espero; Vi rigardos ĉirkaŭen, kaj iros dormi en sendanĝereco.
19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make [thee] afraid; yes, many shall make suit to thee.
Vi kuŝos, kaj neniu vin timigos; Kaj multaj serĉos vian favoron.
20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope [shall be as] the expiration of the breath.
Sed la okuloj de malpiuloj konsumiĝos, Pereos por ili la rifuĝo, Kaj ilia espero elspiros sian vivon.
