Jeremiah 52
1 Zedekiah [was] one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
Zedekiah tinha vinte e um anos de idade quando começou a reinar. Ele reinou onze anos em Jerusalém. O nome de sua mãe era Hamutal, filha de Jeremias de Libnah.
2 And he did [that which was] evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Javé, de acordo com tudo o que Jehoiaquim tinha feito.
3 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
Pois através da ira de Iavé, isto aconteceu em Jerusalém e Judá, até que ele os expulsou de sua presença. Zedequias se rebelou contra o rei da Babilônia.
4 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, [that] Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it, and built forts against it on every side.
No nono ano de seu reinado, no décimo mês, no décimo dia do mês, veio Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, ele e todo seu exército, contra Jerusalém, e se acamparam contra ela; e construíram fortes contra ela ao redor.
5 So the city was besieged to the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
Assim a cidade foi sitiada até o décimo primeiro ano do rei Zedequias.
6 And in the fourth month, in the ninth [day] of the month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
No quarto mês, no nono dia do mês, a fome era severa na cidade, de modo que não havia pão para o povo da terra.
7 Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth from the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which [was] by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans [were] by the city on all sides: ) and they went by the way of the plain.
Então foi feita uma brecha na cidade, e todos os homens de guerra fugiram, e saíram da cidade à noite pelo caminho do portão entre as duas muralhas, que ficava junto ao jardim do rei. Agora os caldeus estavam contra a cidade por toda parte. Os homens de guerra foram em direção ao Arabah,
8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
mas o exército dos caldeus perseguiu o rei, e ultrapassou Zedequias nas planícies de Jericó; e todo o seu exército se dispersou dele.
9 Then they took the king, and carried him to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.
Então tomaram o rei, e o levaram até o rei da Babilônia para Ribla, na terra de Hamath; e ele pronunciou juízo sobre ele.
10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
O rei da Babilônia matou os filhos de Zedequias diante de seus olhos. Ele também matou todos os príncipes de Judá em Ribla.
11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
Ele estendeu os olhos de Zedequias; e o rei da Babilônia amarrou-o em grilhões, levou-o para a Babilônia e o colocou na prisão até o dia de sua morte.
12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, [who] served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,
Agora no quinto mês, no décimo dia do mês, que foi o décimo nono ano do rei Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, Nebuzaradan o capitão da guarda, que se apresentou diante do rei da Babilônia, entrou em Jerusalém.
13 And burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great [men] he burned with fire:
Ele queimou a casa de Javé, e a casa do rei; e todas as casas de Jerusalém, mesmo todas as grandes casas, ele queimou com fogo.
14 And all the army of the Chaldeans, that [were] with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem on every side.
Todo o exército dos caldeus, que estava com o capitão da guarda, derrubou todas as muralhas de Jerusalém ao redor.
15 Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive [certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
Então Nebuzaradan, o capitão da guarda, levou cativo os mais pobres do povo, e o resto do povo que ficou na cidade, e os que caíram, que desertaram para o rei da Babilônia, e o resto da multidão.
16 But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left [certain] of the poor of the land for vine-dressers and for husbandmen.
Mas Nebuzaradan, o capitão da guarda, deixou os mais pobres da terra para ser guardas da vinha e agricultores.
17 Also the pillars of brass that [were] in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that [was] in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.
Os caldeus quebraram os pilares de bronze que estavam na casa de Yahweh e as bases e o mar de bronze que estavam na casa de Yahweh em pedaços, e levaram todo seu bronze para a Babilônia.
18 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered, they took away.
Eles também tiraram as panelas, as pás, os rapé, as bacias, as colheres e todos os vasos de bronze com os quais ministraram.
19 And the basins, and the fire-pans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; [that] which [was] of gold [in] gold, and [that] which [was] of silver [in] silver, the captain of the guard took away.
O capitão da guarda tirou as taças, as panelas de fogo, as bacias, os potes, os suportes das lâmpadas, as colheres e as tigelas; o que era de ouro, como ouro, e o que era de prata, como prata.
20 The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brazen bulls that [were] under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
Eles levaram os dois pilares, o único mar, e os doze touros de bronze que estavam sob as bases, que o rei Salomão havia feito para a casa de Yahweh. O bronze de todas estas embarcações era sem peso.
21 And [concerning] the pillars, the hight of one pillar [was] eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits encompassed it; and the thickness of it [was] four fingers: [it was] hollow.
Quanto aos pilares, a altura de um pilar era de dezoito côvados; e uma linha de doze côvados o circundava; e sua espessura era de quatro dedos. Era oco.
22 And a capital of brass [was] upon it; and the hight of one capital [was] five cubits, with net-work and pomegranates upon the capitals around, all [of] brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates [were] like to these.
Um capital de bronze estava sobre ele; e a altura de um capital era de cinco côvados, com rede e romãs sobre o capital em toda a volta, tudo de bronze. O segundo pilar também tinha o mesmo, com romãs.
23 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; [and] all the pomegranates upon the net-work [were] a hundred on all sides.
Havia noventa e seis romãs nas laterais; todas as romãs eram cem na rede ao redor.
24 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
O capitão da guarda levou Seraías, o sumo sacerdote, e Sofonias, o segundo sacerdote, e os três guardas do umbral,
25 He took also out of the city a eunuch, who had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king's person, who were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
e da cidade levou um oficial que foi colocado sobre os homens de guerra; e sete homens daqueles que viram o rosto do rei, que foram encontrados na cidade; e o escriba do capitão do exército, que reuniu o povo da terra; e sessenta homens do povo da terra, que foram encontrados no meio da cidade.
26 So Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
Nebuzaradan o capitão da guarda os tomou e os levou ao rei da Babilônia em Riblah.
27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah, in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.
O rei da Babilônia os atingiu e os matou em Riblah, na terra de Hamath. Então Judah foi levado cativo para fora de sua terra.
28 This [is] the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty:
Este é o número de pessoas que Nabucodonosor levou em cativeiro: no sétimo ano, três mil e vinte e três judeus;
29 In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons:
no décimo oitavo ano de Nabucodonosor, ele levou em cativeiro de Jerusalém oitocentas e trinta e duas pessoas;
30 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons [were] four thousand and six hundred.
no vigésimo terceiro ano de Nabucodonosor, Nebuzaradan o capitão da guarda levou cativo dos judeus setecentos e quarenta e cinco pessoas. Todas as pessoas eram quatro mil e seiscentas.
31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him out of prison,
No trigésimo sétimo ano do cativeiro de Joaquim, rei de Judá, no décimo segundo mês, no vigésimo quinto dia do mês, Evilmerodach, rei da Babilônia, no primeiro ano de seu reinado, levantou a cabeça de Joaquim, rei de Judá, e o libertou da prisão.
32 And spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that [were] with him in Babylon,
Ele falou gentilmente com ele, e colocou seu trono acima do trono dos reis que estavam com ele na Babilônia,
33 And changed his prison garments: and he continually ate bread before him all the days of his life.
e mudou suas vestes de prisão. Jehoiachin comeu pão diante dele continuamente durante todos os dias de sua vida.
34 And [for] his food there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
Para sua mesada, havia uma mesada contínua dada pelo rei da Babilônia, todos os dias uma porção até o dia de sua morte, todos os dias de sua vida.
