Jeremiah 50
1 The word that the LORD spoke against Babylon [and] against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.
१बाबेल देश व खास्द्यांच्या लोकांविषयी हे वचन परमेश्वराने यिर्मया संदेष्ट्याच्या हाती सांगितले.
2 Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, [and] conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
२राष्ट्रांत घोषणा कर व ऐकू येईल असे सांगा! निशाण उंच करा आणि ऐकू येईल असे सांगा. गुप्त ठेवू नका. म्हणा, बाबेल घेतली आहे. बेल लज्जित झाला आहे. मरदोख मोडला आहे. त्यांच्या मूर्तींची फजीती झाली आहे. त्यांचे पुतळे मोडले आहेत.
3 For out of the north there cometh a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell in it, they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
३उत्तरेकडचे एक राष्ट्र तिच्याविरूद्ध उठले आहे, ते तिचा देश ओसाड करील. तिच्यात कोणीएक मनुष्य किंवा पशूही राहणार नाही. ते दूर पळून जातील
4 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping; they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.
४परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, त्या दिवसात आणि त्यावेळी इस्राएलाचे व यहूदाचे लोक एकत्र येऊन बरोबर रडत जातील आणि परमेश्वर आपला देव याला शोधतील.
5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces towards it, [saying], Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant [that] shall not be forgotten.
५ते सियोनेची वाट विचारतील व ते त्या दिशेने चालायला सुरवात करतील. ते जातील आणि म्हणतील जो कधी मोडला जाणार नाही अशा सर्वकाळच्या कराराने आपण स्वत: परमेश्वराशी जोडले जाऊ.
6 My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away [on] the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting-place.
६माझे लोक हरवलेला कळप असे झाले आहेत. त्यांच्या मेंढपाळांनी त्यांना डोंगरात भटकविले आहे. त्यांनी त्यांना टेकड्या टेकड्यांतून फिरवले आहे. ते गेले, ते कोठे राहत होते ती जागा ते विसरले.
7 All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
७प्रत्येकजण जो कोणी त्यांच्याकडे बाहेर गेला त्यांनी त्यास खाऊन टाकले. त्यांचे शत्रू म्हणाले, आम्ही दोषी नाही, कारण परमेश्वर त्यांचे खरे राहण्याचे ठिकाण आहे, परमेश्वर जो त्यांच्या पूर्वजांची आशा त्याच्याविरुध्द त्यांनी पाप केले आहे.
8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth from the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he-goats before the flocks.
८“बाबेलच्या मध्यापासून भटका आणि खास्द्यांच्या देशातून निघून जा; जसे कळपाच्या पुढे चालणारा एडका तसे तुम्ही व्हा.
9 For lo, I will raise and cause to come against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows [shall be] as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.
९कारण पाहा, मी उत्तरेकडून मोठ्या राष्ट्रांचा समूह उठवून बाबेलाविरूद्ध आणीन आणि ते सज्ज होऊन येतील. ते तिच्याविरूद्ध स्वतः तेथे बंदोबस्त करतील. तेथपासून ते बाबेल जिंकून घेतला जाईल. त्यांचे बाण निपुण वीरासारखे आहेत; ते व्यर्थ होऊन परत येत नाही.
10 And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the LORD.
१०खास्द्यांची लूट होईल. जे कोणी त्यांना लुटेल तो तृप्त होईल.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of my heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;
११माझे वतन लुटणाऱ्यांनो, तुम्ही आनंद व उत्सव करता; जसे तुम्ही वासरू त्याच्या कुरणात सभोवती पाय आपटत उड्या मारते, बळकट घोड्याप्रमाणे खिंकाळता.
12 Your mother shall be greatly confounded; she that bore you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations [shall be] a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
१२तरी तुमची आई अत्यंत लज्जित होईल. जी कोणी तुला जन्म देणारी तिला लाज वाटेल. पाहा, ती राष्ट्रांत क्षुद्र, रान, कोरडी भूमी आणि वाळवंट होईल.
13 Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
१३परमेश्वराच्या क्रोधामुळे बाबेलात वस्ती होणार नाही, परंतु संपूर्ण उध्वस्त होईल. बाबेला शेजारून जो कोणी जाईल तो प्रत्येकजण तिच्यामुळे कंप पावेल आणि तिच्या सर्व जखमामुळे फूत्कार टाकेल.
14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon on every side: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD.
१४तुम्ही सर्व बाबेलाविरूद्ध सभोवती मांडणी करून सज्ज व्हा. प्रत्येकजण जो कोणी धनुष्य वाकवतो त्याने तिच्यावर मारा करावा. तुमचा एकही बाण राखून ठेवू नका, कारण तिने परमेश्वराविरूद्ध पाप केले आहे.
15 Shout against her on every side; she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it [is] the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do to her.
१५तिच्याविरूद्ध तिच्या सर्व सभोवताली विजयाची आरोळी मारा; तिने आपले सामर्थ्य समर्पण केले आहे. तिचे बुरुज पडले आहेत. तिच्या भिंती पाडल्या आहेत, कारण हा परमेश्वराचा सूड आहे. तिच्यावर सूड घ्या. तिने जसे दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रांना केले तसे तिचे करा.
16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.
१६बाबेलामधील पेरणारा आणि कापणीच्यावेळी विळा चालवणारा या दोघांचा नाश करा. जुलमाच्या तलवारीमुळे ते प्रत्येकजण आपल्या लोकांकडे वळतील; त्यांना आपल्या देशाकडे पळून जाऊ द्या.
17 Israel [is] a scattered sheep; the lions have driven [him] away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.
१७“इस्राएल विखुरलेले मेंढरू आहे आणि सिंहाने दूर पळवून लावले आहे. प्रथम अश्शूराच्या राजाने त्यास खाल्ले; मग यानंतर, बाबेलाचा राजा नबुखद्नेस्सर याने त्याचे हाडे मोडून टाकली आहेत.”
18 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.
१८म्हणून सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलाचा देव, असे म्हणतो, पाहा, जसे मी अश्शूराच्या राजाला शिक्षा केली तसे मी बाबेलाच्या राजाला व देशाला शिक्षा करणार आहे.
19 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.
१९“मी इस्राएलाला त्याच्या मातृभूमीत स्थापित करीन. तो कर्मेल व बाशानावर चरेल. नंतर तो एफ्राईम व गिलाद येथील डोंगराळ प्रदेशात तृप्त होईल.”
20 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and [there shall] be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.
२०परमेश्वर म्हणतो, “त्या दिवसात आणि त्यावेळी, इस्राएलाचा अपराध शोधण्यात येईल, पण काहीच सापडणार नाही. मी यहूदाच्या पापाविषयी चौकशी करील, पण काहीच सापडणार नाही, कारण मी ज्यांना शेष असे राखून ठेवील त्यांना क्षमा करीन.”
21 Go up against the land of Merathaim, [even] against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.
२१परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, मराथाईम देशाविरूद्ध उठ, त्याच्याविरुध्द आणि पकोडच्या रहिवाश्यांवर चढाई कर. त्यांच्यावर तलवार ठेवून आणि त्यांचा संपूर्ण नाश करा. मी तुला आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे प्रत्येकगोष्ट कर.
22 A sound of battle [is] in the land, and of great destruction.
२२युध्दाचा मोठा आवाज आणि देशात प्रचंड नाश होत आहे.
23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!
२३सर्व देशांचा हातोडा कसा मोडून तोडून टाकिला आहे आणि नाश झाला आहे. राष्ट्रामध्ये बाबेल कसा ओसाड झाला आहे.
24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.
२४हे बाबेला, मी तुझ्यासाठी सापळा रचला आहे, तू पकडला गेला आहे आणि तुला समजले नाही. तू सापडलास व पकडला गेलास, आतापर्यंत तू परमेश्वराविरुद्ध भांडलास,
25 The LORD hath opened his armory, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this [is] the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.
२५परमेश्वराने आपले शस्रागार उघडले आहे आणि आपली हत्यारे त्याने बाहेर आणली आहेत कारण त्यास आपला क्रोध अंमलात आणायचा आहे. कारण प्रभू, सेनाधीश परमेश्वर यास खास्द्यांच्या देशात कार्य करायचे आहे.
26 Come against her from the utmost border, open her store-houses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left.
२६दूरवरुन तिच्यावर हल्ला करा. तिची धान्याची कोठारे उघडा आणि धान्याच्या राशीप्रमाणे त्याचे ढीग करा. तिचा अगदी नाश करा, तिच्यातील कोणालाही सोडू नका.
27 Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe to them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.
२७तिचे सर्व बैल मारून टाका. त्यांना खाली कत्तलीच्या जागी पाठवा. त्यांना हाय हाय, कारण त्यांचे दिवस आले आहेत, कारण त्यांच्या शिक्षेची वेळ आली आहे.
28 The voice of them that flee and escape from the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple.
२८बाबेल देशामधून जे कोणी वाचलेले आहेत ते पळून जात आहेत त्यांचा आवाज तेथे आहे. तो आवाज ते आमचा देव परमेश्वर याजकडून सूड, त्याच्या मंदिराविषयीचा सूड, सीयोनेस कळवित आहे.
29 Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, encamp against it on every side; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do to her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.
२९“बाबेलाविरूद्ध जो कोणी त्यांचे सर्व धनुष्य वाकवणारे धनुर्धारी यांना हुकूम द्या. त्यांच्याविरुद्ध तळ द्या आणि कोणालाही निसटू देऊ नका. तिने जे काही केले त्याची परतफेड करा. तिने जे माप वापरले तिला तसेच करा. कारण तिने परमेश्वरास, इस्राएलाचा पवित्र प्रभू याची अवज्ञा केली.
30 Therefore her young men shall fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD.
३०म्हणून तिचे तरुण पुरुष नगरातल्या चौकात पडतील, आणि तिचे सर्व लढणारे त्या दिवशी नाश होतील.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
31 Behold, I [am] against thee, [O thou] most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time [that] I will visit thee.
३१“हे गर्विष्ठा, पाहा, मी तुझ्याविरूद्ध आहे” असे प्रभू, सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणतो. “कारण हे गर्विष्ठा, तुझा दिवस आला आहे, मी तुला शिक्षा करण्याची वेळ आली आहे.
32 And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all around him.
३२म्हणून गर्विष्ठ अडखळून पडेल. तिला कोणीही उठवणार नाही. मी तिच्या नगरात आग पेटवीन. ती आग तिच्याभोवतालच्या प्रत्येकगोष्टीला खाऊन टाकिल.”
33 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah [were] oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.
३३सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “इस्राएली लोक, यहूदी लोक याजवर बरोबर एकत्र जुलूम होत आहेत. ज्या सर्वांना त्यांनी पकडून नेले आहे त्यांना अजून धरून ठेवले आहे.
34 Their Redeemer [is] strong; the LORD of hosts [is] his name: he will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
३४त्यांचा उद्धारकर्ता समर्थ आहे; ‘सेनाधीश परमेश्वर हे त्याचे नाव आहे’ तो खचित त्यांचा वाद चालवील, म्हणजे मग तो देशास विसावा देईल व बाबेलाच्या रहाणाऱ्यावर संघर्ष आणील.”
35 A sword [is] upon the Chaldeans, saith the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise [men].
३५परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, खास्द्यांविरूद्ध, बाबेलाच्या राहणाऱ्याविरूद्ध, तिचे नेते व तिचे ज्ञानी माणसे यावर तलवार आली आहे.
36 A sword [is] upon the liars; and they shall be sottish: a sword [is] upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.
३६जे कोणी भविष्यासाठी वचन सांगतात त्यांच्याविरुद्ध तलवार आली आहे, याकरिता की, ते आपल्यास मूर्खाप्रमाणे प्रकट करतील. तिच्या सैनिकांविरूद्ध तलवार येत आहे, अशा रीतीने ते दहशतीने भरतील.
37 A sword [is] upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that [are] in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword [is] upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.
३७त्यांच्या घोड्याविरूद्ध, त्यांच्या रथावर आणि बाबेलाच्यामध्ये जे कोणी लोक राहतात त्या सर्वांवर तलवार आली आहे. ते स्त्रियासारखे असे होतील. तलवार तिच्या भांडारावर आली आहे, आणि ती लुटली जाईल.
38 A drouth [is] upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it [is] the land of graven images, and they are mad upon [their] idols.
३८तलवार तिच्या पाण्याविरूद्ध येईल, मग ते कोरडे होईल. कारण ती कवडीमोल मूर्तीचा देश आहे, आणि त्या लोकांस त्यांच्या भयंकर मूर्तींवरून वेडे झाले आहेत.
39 Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the isles, shall dwell [there], and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.
३९यास्तव रानटी पशू कोल्ह्यासहीत तेथे वस्ती करतील आणि तरुण शहामृग तेथे राहतील; कारण सर्व काळी तिच्यात पुन्हा कोणी कधीही रहाणार नाही. पिढ्यानपिढ्या तिच्यात कोणी वस्ती करणार नाही.
40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring [cities], saith the LORD; [so] shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.
४०परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, देवाने जसा सदोम, गमोरा आणि त्यांचे शेजारी यांचा नाश केला. त्याचप्रमाणे, तेथे कोणी राहणार नाही, एकही मनुष्य तिच्यात राहणार नाही.
41 Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the borders of the earth.
४१“पाहा! उत्तरेकडून लोक येत आहेत. कारण एक महान शक्तीशाली राष्ट्र आणि पुष्कळ राजे दूर देशातून उठत आहेत.
42 They shall hold the bow and the lance: they [are] cruel, and will not show mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, [every one] put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
४२ते धनुष्य व भाले धारण करतात. ते क्रूर आहेत आणि त्यांच्याजवळ दया नाही. त्यांचा आवाज समुद्राप्रमाणे गर्जत आहेत आणि अगे बाबेलच्या कन्ये ते घोड्यांवर स्वार होऊन लढणाऱ्या मनुष्याच्या स्वरुपात तुझ्याविरूद्ध येत आहेत.
43 The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands became feeble: anguish took hold of him, [and] pangs as of a woman in travail.
४३बाबेलाच्या राजाने त्यांचे वर्तमान ऐकले आहे आणि त्याचे हात विपत्तीने गळाले आहेत. प्रसूत होणाऱ्या स्त्रीप्रमाणे त्यास वेदनेने वेढले आहे.”
44 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan to the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who [is] a chosen [man], [that] I may appoint over her? for who [is] like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who [is] that shepherd that will stand before me?
४४“पाहा, जसा सिंह यार्देनेच्या दाट झुडुपांतून बाहेर येतो, तसा तो मजबूत वस्तीवर येईल. कारण ते एकाएकी तिच्यापासून पळून जातील, असे मी करीन. आणि जो मी निवडलेला आहे त्यास तिच्यावर नेमून ठेवीन; कारण माझ्यासारखा कोण आहे? आणि मला कोण आज्ञा देईल? आणि कोणता मेंढपाळ माझ्यासमोर उभा राहील?”
45 Therefore hear ye the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make [their] habitation desolate with them.
४५तर बाबेलाविरूद्ध परमेश्वराने जी योजना ठरवली आहे ती, खास्द्यांच्या देशाविरूद्ध जे संकल्प केले आहेत तेही ऐका; ते खचित कळपातील लहानांनादेखील, ओढून नेतील, त्यांचे कुरणाचे देश नाशाची जागा होईल.
46 At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.
४६बाबेल जिंकून घेण्याच्या आवाजाने पृथ्वी हादरेल आणि त्यांच्या दुःखाची आरोळी राष्ट्रांमध्ये ऐकायला येईल.
