Jeremiah 33
1 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet confined in the court of the prison, saying,
੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਅਜੇ ਕੈਦਖ਼ਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਸੀ ਕਿ
2 Thus saith the LORD the maker of this, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD [is] his name;
੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਹ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਹ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, - ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ, - ਉਹ ਐਉਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ,
3 Call to me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
੩ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ-ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਔਖੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।
4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦਮਦਮਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਢਾਹੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, -
5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but [it is] to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in my anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
੫ਉਹ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦਿਨ ਲੋਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਲੁਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ
6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.
੬ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਵਾਫ਼ਰ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
੭ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ
8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, by which they have sinned, and by which they have transgressed against me.
੮ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ
9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do to them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure to it.
੯ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਅਨੰਦ ਨਾਮਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੇਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਸੁਣਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਨੇਕੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਉਹ ਡਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਬਣਗੀਆਂ।
10 Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say [shall be] desolate without man and without beast, [even] in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
੧੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਡੰਗਰ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਚੌਂਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉੱਜੜੇ-ਪੁੱਜੜੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਨਾ ਆਦਮੀ, ਨਾ ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾ ਡੰਗਰ ਹੈ
11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD [is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: [and] of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
੧੧ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼, ਆਨੰਦ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼, ਲਾੜੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼, ਲਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, - ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦਯਾ ਸਦੀਪਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ
12 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all its cities, shall be a habitation of shepherds causing [their] flocks to lie down.
੧੨ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਡੰਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੇਰ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਸੇਬੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਜੜ ਬਿਠਾਉਣਗੇ
13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that counteth [them], saith the LORD.
੧੩ਪਹਾੜੀ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਦੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੇਰ ਇੱਜੜ ਗਿਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੱਥ ਹੇਠ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਣਗੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
੧੪ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਭਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the branch of righteousness to grow up to David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
੧੫ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਲਈ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਖ ਉਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety: and this [is the name] by which she shall be called, JEHOVAH our righteousness.
੧੬ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਚੈਨ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਡਾ ਧਰਮ”
17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
੧੭ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠਣ ਲਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਥੁੜ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ
18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt-offerings, and to kindle meat-offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਥੁੜ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ, ਮੈਦੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਬਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੇ।
19 And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
੧੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ
20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season;
੨੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਤੋੜ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਭਈ ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ
21 [Then] also may my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
੨੧ਤਦ ਮੇਰਾ ਉਹ ਨੇਮ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਟੁੱਟ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਭਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਨਾਲੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਨ
22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister to me.
੨੨ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਗਿਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ, ਨਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਰੇਤ ਮਿਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਨਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਨ ਵਧਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
23 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
੨੩ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ,
24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
੨੪“ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਕੀ ਬੋਲੇ? ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਟੱਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।” ਐਉਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਖਿੱਧ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਭਈ ਉਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਕੌਮ ਨਾ ਰਹੇ।
25 Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant [is] not with day and night, [and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
੨੫ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, [so] that I will not take [any] of his seed [to be] rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
੨੬ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਨਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਭਈ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਨਸਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਨਸਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਣ, ਸਗੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਮ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
