< Jeremiah 15 >
1 Then said the LORD to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, [yet] my mind [could] not [be] towards this people: cast [them] out of my sight, and let them go forth.
Hathnukkhu BAWIPA ni kai koevah, Mosi hoi Samuel teh ka hmalah ka ratoum roi nakunghai, hete taminaw koe lah ka lungthin kamlang pom mahoeh. Ka hmuhoehnae koe pâlei nateh koung kahmat naseh.
2 And it shall come to pass, if they say to thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as [are] for death, to death; and such as [are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as [are] for the famine, to the famine; and such as [are] for the captivity, to the captivity.
Ahnimanaw ni vah, nâ lah maw ka cei awh han, tetpawiteh, BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, due hanlah kaawmnaw teh a due awh han, tahloi hanlah kaawmnaw hah teh tahloi hoi a due awh han, kamlum hanlah kaawmnaw teh a kamlum awh han, santoung hanlah kaawmnaw teh san a toung awh han.
3 And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
Hote taminaw ka raphoe nahanlah hno pali touh ka patoun han telah BAWIPA ni ati. Ka thet hanelah tahloi, tami ka kei hanelah uinaw, ka cat hanelah kalvan e tavanaw hoi talai dawk e moimathengnaw hah doeh.
4 And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for [that] which he did in Jerusalem.
Judah siangpahrang Hezekiah capa Manasseh ni Jerusalem vah hno a sak e dawkvah, ahnimouh teh talai uknaeramnaw pueng ni a tarawk awh nahanelah a sak han.
5 For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask concerning thy welfare?
Oe Jerusalem apinimaw nang hah na pahren han. Apinimaw nang lungmathoekhai han. Nang e kong pacei hanelah apinimaw cawp a kangdue han.
6 Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
Nangmouh ni kai hah na pahnawt awh, telah BAWIPA ni a dei, hnuklah na ban awh. Hatdawkvah, na lathueng vah ka kut ka tha vaiteh, nang hah na raphoe han, ka lunghnonae ka hmawt toe.
7 And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave [them] of children, I will destroy my people, [since] they return not from their ways.
A lamthung dawk hoi a ban ngai awh hoeh dawkvah, ram kalupnae longkha koe ka pâsei vaiteh, a canaw hah ka thei pouh han.
8 Their widows are multiplied to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noon-day: I have caused [him] to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
Ahnimae lahmainaw hah tuipui teng e sadi patetlah kapap sak han. A manunaw kathetkung thoundounnaw hah kanîthun vah ka patoun han, dongdengca dawk ahnimouh van vah takitho lungpuennae hah ka pha sak han.
9 She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath resigned her breath; her sun is gone down while [it was] yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
Ca tongpa sari touh ka khe e a manu a thabaw teh a hringnae a thouk. Ahnie khosei teh khodai nah a loum, ahni teh yeirai hoi lungpout lah ao. A tarannaw hmalah kahloutnaw teh kai ni tahloi hoi ka thei han, telah BAWIPA ni ati.
10 Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor have men lent to me on usury; [yet] every one of them doth curse me.
Oe anu, ka yaw a thoe! talai van pueng kâyue e hoi kâtapoe hanelah vai kai heh na khe khe! Api koehai a ca hane lahoi laiba ka tawn hoeh, ayâ ni hai kai koe laiba tawn hoeh ei, tami pueng ni lawkthoeumkha na bap awh.
11 The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to treat thee [well] in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
BAWIPA ni vah, atangcalah nang hah na hlout sak han. Runae tueng nah, rektapnae tueng nah, na tarannaw hah nang koevah, pahrennae ka kâhei sak han.
12 Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?
Sum ni atunglae sum hoi stil a khoe thai han na maw.
13 Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and [that] for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
Na ram thung pueng vah yonnae na sak e dawkvah, na bawinae hoi na tawnta e pueng aphu laipalah na lawp e patetlah ahnimae kut dawk ka poe han.
14 And I will make [thee] to pass with thy enemies into a land [which] thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in my anger, [which] shall burn upon you.
Na panue hoeh e ram koe na tarannaw koevah san lah na ta han. Ka lungkhuek dawk nangmouh lathueng patawi hane hmai teh a kamtawi toe.
15 O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy long-suffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
Oe! BAWIPA nang ni na panue. Kai hah pou na pouk teh, na pai sin hanelah na tho toteh, na karektapnaw kalan lah lawkceng haw. Ahnimanaw he na panguep teh kai na thet hanh loe. Kai ni nang hanlah dudamnae ka khang e heh na pahnim pouh hanh.
16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Na lawknaw hah a kamnue teh, ka ca! na lawk teh kai hanlah lunghawinae hoi lungthin phunepnae lah ao. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Oe ransahu BAWIPA na min lahoi na kaw e lah ka o.
17 I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
Pawito kamkhuengnaw koevah, ka tahung hoeh, ahnimouh hoi lunghawinae ka hmawng boihoeh, na kut ka van ao dawkvah kamadueng ka tahung, bangkongtetpawiteh, lunghawihoehnae hoi na kawi sak.
18 Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, [which] refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether to me as a liar, [and as] waters [that] fail?
Bangkongmaw ka patawnae heh ahawi thai hoeh, ka hmâ heh hawi han ka ngaihoeh e patetlah hawi thai hoeh bo vaw, Kai hanlah kâuep han kamcuhoeh e tui tang ka hak e patetlah maw ao vaiyoe.
19 Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou shalt return, then will I bring thee again, [and] thou shalt stand before me: and if thou shalt separate the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return to thee; but return not thou to them.
Hatdawkvah, BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, bout na ban pawiteh, na bankhai vaiteh, ka hmalah bout na kangdue han. Cungkeihoehe thung hoi sungren e hno dueng na dei pawiteh, kaie lawk karingkung lah ao han. Ahnimouh ni nang koe lah kamlang boilah, nang teh ahnimouh koe lah na kamlang mahoeh.
20 And I will make thee to this people a fortified brazen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I [am] with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
Hete taminaw thung vah rahum tapang na sak han, ahni ni nang hah na tuk awh han eiteh, nang rungngang hanelah, na teng ka o dawkvah, ahnimouh ni nang na tâ awh mahoeh, telah BAWIPA ni ati.
21 And I will deliver thee from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee from the hand of the terrible.
Tamikathoutnaw kut dawk hoi na rungngang vaiteh, takitho e taminaw e kut dawk hoi nang teh na ratang han.
