< Jeremiah 10 >

1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh to you, O house of Israel:
Ipangagyo ti sao nga ibagbaga ni Yahweh kadakayo, balay ti Israel.
2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, 'Saanyo nga sursuroen dagiti wagas dagiti nasion, ken saankayo a maupay gapu kadagiti pagilasinan kadagiti langit, ta naupay dagiti nasion gapu kadagitoy.
3 For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
Ta awan serserbina dagiti kaugalian dagiti tattao. Ta adda mangputed iti kayo idiay kabakiran; aramiden daytoy dagiti ima ti kumikitikit babaen iti wasay.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it may not move.
Kalpasanna, arkosanda daytoy iti pirak ken balitok. Palagdaenda daytoy babaen iti martilio ken kadagiti lansa tapno saan a matumba.
5 They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good.
Dagitoy a didiosen ket kasla kadagiti bambanti iti taltalon a namulaan iti pipino, ta awan iti maibaga dagitoy. Masapul a maawit dagitoy, ta saanda a pulos a makaaddang. Saankayo nga agbuteng kadagitoy, ta saanda a makaiyeg iti dakes, wenno makaaramid iti aniaman a nasayaat.'”
6 Forasmuch as [there is] none like to thee, O LORD; thou [art] great, and thy name [is] great in might.
Awan iti kas kenka, O Yahweh. Naindaklanka, ken ti naganmo ket mabigbigbig gapu iti pannakabalinmo.
7 Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise [men] of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, [there is] none like to thee.
Siasino koma ti saan nga agbuteng kenka, ari dagiti nasion? Ta daytoy ti maikari kenka, ta awan iti kas kenka kadagiti amin a nasirib a lallaki kadagiti nasion wenno kadagiti amin a pagarianda.
8 But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock [is] a doctrine of vanities.
Agpapadada amin, nakuneng ken maagda, adalan ida dagiti didiosen a kayo laeng.
9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple [is] their clothing: they [are] all the work of skillful [men].
Mangiyegda iti napitpit a pirak manipud Tarsis, ken balitok manipud Ufas nga inaramid dagiti kumikitikit, kadagiti ima dagiti platero. Asul ken lila dagiti kawes dagitoy. Inaramid dagiti nalalaing a lallakida dagitoy amin a banbanag.
10 But the LORD [is] the true God, he [is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Ngem ni Yahweh ti pudno a Dios. Isuna ti sibibiag a Dios ken agnanayon nga ari. Aggingined ti daga gapu iti ungetna, ket saan a maibturan dagiti nasion ti ungetna.
11 Thus shall ye say to them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, [even] they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
Agsaokanto kadakuada a kastoy, “Dagiti dios a saan a nangaramid kadagiti langit ken daga ket mapukawto manipud iti daga ken manipud iti sirok dagitoy a langit.”
12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
Ti nangaramid ti daga babaen iti pannakabalinna ket imbangonna ti namaga a daga babaen iti kinasiribna ken inyukradna dagiti langit babaen iti pannakaawatna.
13 When he uttereth his voice, [there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
Ti timekna ket pagdaranudorenna dagiti danum kadagiti langit, ken pangatoenna ti angep manipud iti pungto ti daga. Ar-aramidenna ti kimat para iti tudo ken parparuarenna ti angin iti pangiduldulinanna.
14 Every man is brutish in [his] knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image [is] falsehood, and [there is] no breath in them.
Nagbalinen a nakuneng ti tunggal lalaki, awan pannakaammona. Tunggal agkitkitikit ket maibabain gapu kadagiti didiosenna. Ta saan a pudno ti sinukogna a ladawan; awan iti biag kadagitoy.
15 They [are] vanity, [and] the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
Awan serserbida, inaramid dagitoy dagiti mananglais; mapukawdanto iti tiempo ti pannakadusada.
16 The portion of Jacob [is] not like them: for he [is] the former of all [things]; and Israel [is] the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts [is] his name.
Ngem ti Dios, a pagdaydayawan ni Jacob ket saan a kastoy, ta isuna ti nangsukog kadagiti amin a banbanag. Ti Israel ket ti tribu a tawidna; Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin ti naganna.
17 Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
Urnongenyo dagiti sanikuayo ket panawanyo ti daga, dakayo a tattao nga agnanaed iti siudad a pinalawlawan dagiti kabusor.
18 For thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them that they may find [it so].
Ta kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, “Kitaenyo, dandanikon papanawen dagiti agnanaed iti daga iti daytoy a tiempo. Pagrigatekto ida ket makariknadanto daytoy.”
19 Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this [is] a grief, and I must bear it.
Asiak pay! Gapu kadagiti natukkol a tulangko, nagnunog ti sugatko. Isu a kinunak, “Sigurado a panagtuok daytoy, ngem masapul nga ibturak.
20 My tabernacle is laid waste, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone from me, and they [are] not: [there is] none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
Nadadael ti toldak, ken amin dagiti tali ti toldak ket napugsat. Inyadayoda kaniak dagiti annakko, isu nga awandan. Awanen iti mangiyukrad iti toldak wenno mangingato kadagiti kurtina ti toldak.
21 For the pastors have become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
Ta nagbalinen a maag dagiti agpaspastor. Saanda a sapsapulen ni Yahweh, isu a saanda nga agballigi; nawarawara amin dagiti arbanda.
22 Behold, the sound of the noise is come, and a great commotion from the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, [and] a den of dragons.
Dimtengen dagiti damag, “Kitaenyo! Umayen! Adda napigsa a gingined nga umay manipud iti daga iti amianan a mangdadael kadagiti siudad ti Juda, ket agbalin a pagnaedan dagiti atap nga aso.”
23 O LORD, I know that the way of man [is] not in himself: [it is] not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Ammok O Yahweh, a ti dalan ti maysa a tao ket saan nga agtaud iti bagina. Awan ti tao a magmagna ti mangiturturong kadagiti bukodna nga addang.
24 O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thy anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
Iwanwannak, O Yahweh, a nabuyugan iti hustisia, ngem saan a gapu iti ungetmo, ta amangan no dadaelennak.
25 Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
Ibukbokmo ti pungtotmo kadagiti nasion a saan a makaam-ammo kenka ken kadagiti pamilia a saan nga umawag iti naganmo. Ta inalun-onda ni Jacob ken inibusda isuna tapno madadael isuna a naan-anay ken marebbada ti pagnanaedanna.
